Waste of time!

Hello Everyone,

I am starting a campaign against AfterQuery Experts because of their misconduct. Many people ask me about AI training platforms, and they should know that this platform appears to be partially scam-like.

I worked with this platform for 3 months. My experience started badly. Their admins made us work on a project, read guidelines, and pass the onboarding quiz. When production began, a technical issue occurred. They first said it would be fixed in one day, then one week. After that, they disappeared and even archived the Slack channel, and our work was stopped in mid.

Later, I was added to two different projects, earned some amount, and they paid me. However, the real issue started after that. They released project B***k, where each task took around one hour. Experts were asked to submit 10 submissions each. Then they removed the project from the dashboard. Whatever the client-side reason was, it does not matter to us because we had already completed the work, and our work went unchecked and wasted.

Then they started project B***P****. Each task took more than an hour, and again, every expert was asked to submit 10 tasks. They rejected almost 98% of the tasks without giving proper reasons. When people protested, they gave a vague explanation that their AI model could solve the tasks without viewing the images. As an engineer, I know this is not true. Without artifact images, those tasks were unsolvable. Even Fable 5 could not solve them and kept asking for images. Later, they changed their stance and said the model could solve them easily. They never told us at the start that tasks would be QAed this way or rejected if the model solved them. This was one of their biggest intellectual scams, and if that was the criteria then QA LLM checks should had been implemented in project.

Then came project A**. Again, we were asked to submit 10 submissions per expert. The tasks were simple, creating questions from images. They did not explain any checking criteria. Later, they rejected all submissions, saying the images were already in the database. How were we supposed to know that?

When I raised these concerns in their official Reddit community, they banned me and threatened to ban me from the platform too. I am not scared of that.

Their admins are very egotistic and do not know how to run an AI organization. However, some admins were good, especially those who handled project P***T, P***O, F****, and S*****.

My advice:

Do not work on public projects that have no Slack channels, because Kid O***** is handling them and has no idea what he is doing. If you still want to work there, choose only projects with clear communication and proper channels.

I have attached screenshots as proof. AfterQuery Experts can ban me if they want. It will not affect me, but this campaign will continue until these wrongdoings stop.

I lasted a day with this company. I applied through LinkedIn as a doctoral researcher, attracted by the advertised pay rate of $100 to $180 per hour. However, what I earned over the course of my day with this company was $120 total, barely above the minimum wage for my state – hence my exit. The reasons for this were: undisclosed task caps that were never in the job description; an automated checker that blocked the most sophisticated prompts (precisely the work PhD researchers would naturally produce); domain closures without notice; compensation tied to work accepted rather than work actually done; vague promises of scaling that never materialised. The effect of all this was wage suppression, and a feeling that high-quality data from PhD-level contributors had been extracted without fair recompense. For these reasons I'd urge researchers to be cautious about onboarding with this company, or to give the company a miss entirely.
