WHY did one of the footrests of an almost new Aidapt transit chair fall off, then fall apart, after being used three times? Why, when I ordered replacements, and was told that they would arrive within two or three days, did I have to ring up two weeks later and chase them? WHY, if there was a problem, didn't I receive the phone call I was promised? WHY did I have to chase again a week later, only to be told that they weren't in stock? WHY are these people allowed to trade in such a critically vulnerable sector? At time of writing I believe I have cancelled the order, but that remains to be seen. Unless I also have to chase the cancellation, I shall have nothing more to do with them.

Disappointed with the response I had with Aidapt. One of the handle to the light weight transit chair we brought was broken and need replacing. Contact the company with photos and details, company said they don't have any spare handles or any due date when they will be available eventhough I was willing to pay for the replacement handle, suggest the only solution is to buy a new transit chair. Unfortunately the chair is out of warranty but you would expect the company will do its best to help considering their peoducts are for disabled customers. I will definitely won't be buying any products from this company again.

Bought a walking frae for my husband, unfortunately it wasn't suitable ,sftr speaking to Paul who was very helpful I took the item back to tha warehouse as it is close to where I live where a lovely gentleman took me into the warehouse and sorted everything out for me .Recieved refund next morning .Huge Thank you to all .

A brake pad fell off wheelchair and was lost. Brother rang Aidapt and they said they would get back to him within 24 hours. They did so and said it would take about 10 days to order it and send it. They did as they said again. Refreshing when people do as they say. I got straight through straight away.

Wish I'd read the reviews before buying. Told them the shower seat would be screwed to a block exterior wall and they refused to recommend the screw type or size. Reading the instalation instructions are of no use. Completely unhelpfull just some nonsense in the booklet to say they have no contract with the user. It's like they've never asked a solicitor what consumer protection is.

Couldn’t have been more helpful the staff at customer services were brilliant would recommend them and the company.

I would dearly like to know how this company continues to be allowed to manufacture when you consider the area of the market they're serving, or supposed to be serving...ie: the disabled! I've just read the comments on this site for this company and am shocked that Aidapt are still allowed to operate. Usually when I'm buying something of some importance financially and important, I check them out here on Trustpilot. But I checked the company Essential Aids instead from whom I was buying an Aidapt transit chair not realising the chair/rollator I was interested in was manufactured by Aidapt. Essential Aids had a good review and so I went ahead and purchased the chair. The first time I used the chair, the seat literally fell from underneath me! There was a loud crack and I dropped down. The seat had completely broken in half inside its covering. Essential Aids were swift in refunding and collecting the chair, but what on earth are they still selling Aidapt equipment. I have a progressive spinal condition and this incident gave me a kind of whiplash effect... and as much as I really liked the chair/rollator and it was just what I wanted and needed, I'm very apprehensive of buying another one from any manufacturer. I'm sure I'll get over it and hopefully find a similar chair/rollator to fulfil a very necessary need.

Bought a wheelchair couple of years ago found the arm rests poor considering this is what the chairs occupant needs to be sturdy for leverage in order to exit their chair. Husband phoned Monday April 22 2024 to order two replacement arms. He was asked for the wheelchair model number and was told the price and the postage which he paid by credit card over the phone. The two arm rests came Tuesday 24th April they have sent the wrong ones out husband phoned yesterday April 24th and told the girl these are the wrong ones she said will look into it and phone you back. Today April 25th have had to phone again as nobody has phoned us. Does it really take 24 hours to look into this? If it does they must get a lot of complaints. Told the girl i need is at lunch and another took my phone number and said will get her to phone you soon as she is back from lunch, Feel this is very poor customer service from a company that deals mainly with predomitely disabled people who need a prompt service not this charade of one . Would not buy nothing else from this company that is for sure. As soon as the armrest came apart thought this is poor quality from a part that you need to be particularly strong due to the usage it gets.

Shower chair bought via Amazon (aid4u) - delivered poorly packed and in broken state. Phoned aidapt who didn't want to know despite the delivery note clearly stating it had been packed and dispatched by them.

I ordered a threshold ramp from this company, through Amazon. The item was advertised at a sale price of £45.99 then I am told that my order has been cancelled. I couldn't understand it as they still had 4 left in stock when I submitted my order. The reason for cancelling my order they say, is that the price was wrong. Now if you shop on Amazon you will have noticed that when an item is reduced in price the original price is shown with a line through it then the new price is beside it, that is exactly the way the item I bought was presented on Amazon, I feel very misled by this whole transaction as I was abolutley delighted to find a ramp for my electic wheelchair at a reasonable price. They have offered me a %10 discount on the price of £93.86 that they are now charging, I couldn't even take the offer if I wanted to as the £45.99 that I gave over in the first place yesterday morning is still not back my bank. AVOID this company as they have absolutley no empathy when dealing with severley disabled people, who are in essence their customer.ch

Been told my item was out for delivery five days running still waiting avoid at all costs

contacted the makers of riser recliner chair bought three weeks ago from amazon.it needs a repair as i cant do without it. aidapt say they have no record of purchase from amazon. i have reciept saying i bought 3 weeks ago. surely it should be guaranteed for at least twelve months. it seems a simple repair but all amazon want to do is a refund. im at my wits end
