Extremely professional, the driver contacted me via whatsapp for instructions and to introduce himself and the details of the vehicle. Always in time, both on the arrival and the departure. You also can choose in advance how to pay, and it’s useful. I highly recommend this service.

The driver, Attila contacted me a few minutes after landing at Budapest airport and a few minutes later we were in the car. He picked us up 6.30am to come back a few days later. Very pleasant and friendly driver. You pay the driver cash in the currency you chose on booking. 69 euros all in return trip. Excellent service all round. June 2024

Perfect pick up on arrival at the airport. Driver communicated through Whats App, which had been set up in advance, so we knew where to wait (just outside arrivals) and the registration number of the car we were expecting. within a couple of minutes Abdul arrived and introduced himself and loaded our luggage into the car. When we arrived at our hotel, Abdul showed us where we would be picked up for our return journey which again went smoothly. Would highly recommend this company.

Everything went fine except no driver or transport showed up!

So thanks for the somewhat complicated booking process with confirmation needed over both mail and WhatsApp. Likewise with the notification about daylight saving time change (which we got rather late) - however I guess the driver did not get it as he/she never showed up …

Good thing we had enough time to catch two taxis instead, so we did not miss our flight.

We did endeed add a buffer to our plans otherwise we would not have gotten to the airport on time.
However in the communication from airporttransferbudapest it is clearly stated that they will only wait 10 min past the agreed time. Since we got no communication from airporttransferbudapest if something was wrong or driver being late. Hence we had no idea if or when the driver would show up, thus leaving us with the only option to find some taxis instead.

The clear lack of communication is the reason for keeping the low recommendation of 1 star.

Perfectly on time for an early flight back home! Reservation super efficient, nice and friendly local driver, very professional and correct price.
The booking process was easy. I had an immediate email confirmation.
The driver contacted me via WhatsApp prior to the pick up time and advised me that he was available for when I was ready.

The driver did not turn up. He messaged me 20 minutes after time he was booked for, to say ‘small mechanical problem’ with his car. No apology from the company. We had to hail a taxi in the street otherwise we would have missed our flight.
EDIT: the taxi co response below is factually incorrect. We had no contact at all from the driver until 20 minutes after he was due, we were NOT told that a replacement was on its way, and he did not apologise. But I accept the company’s apology below on his behalf.

We used Airport Transfer Budapest for an airport shuttle from our rental apartment to the Budapest airport as well. The car showed up just a few minutes before the scheduled time and my driver was wonderful. Daniel, was brilliant. He left messages letting me know where to meet him, the drive was really pleasant and hassle free. An uneventful transfer to the airport is the best!! Thanks again! No issues at all…the drive was very polite for our transport. So easy to book, efficient transport from the airport directly to our hotel and return.
