I generated a free video and it looked awful, just a talking mouth. I looked at their offerings and it seemed impressive. So I paid and regenerated the same video. A talking mouth. It appears you need to upgrade to a very expensive plan to have some type of dynamic video. I should have just stayed with Synthesia as their basic plan (and many others) offer a better experience. And because I generated a 1 minute talking mouth video, they will not offer a refund.
Use a competitor.
I usually check review sites, I didnt this time, they have low rating overall.

Unlimited" is a lie.

I bought a yearly plan only after asking support directly if dubbing limits could change. They clearly told me the plan would stay unlimited, so I paid for a full year.

Later, without any warning or my consent, my account suddenly showed a 120‑minute monthly limit and dubbing started using credits. When I complained, support just said it’s a new policy for all users and they can’t make exceptions.

They changed a core feature of a prepaid yearly plan after purchase, despite earlier written confirmation from support that it would stay unlimited.

Clearly anti-consumer company.

Edit: Now it’s even worse. My videos were translated incorrectly (about 20 seconds of silence at a random moment), and they don’t want to refund the credits, so I lost even more money because of their fault.

Stay away from them! I paid for yearly subscription for unlimited video translation, and one day they changed from unlimited to 120 minutes per month.

I have unsubscribed from emails from this company on four occasions now yet the keep sending me notes about my 'account' that has 14 days left on it... every time they email. their unsubscribe does not work. I didn't click the link, Google gave a warning saying this site looks dangerous. It might not be, but for me it's not worth the risk and seeing the other reviews hasn't made me feel any more at ease.

Thats the worst platform ever, dubbing a video of 30 second takes like 2 hours, and when i asked about the refund they don't provide it, i don't recommand !

I purchased the personal plan for $29 and did not find the caption option I needed. I discovered this less than an hour after subscribing and requested a refund, but it was not approved. I feel the service was not clearly presented and did not meet my needs.

Ich habe den "Team Plan" für knapp 70 USD pro Monat abgeschlossen, weil er explizit mit "unbegrenzten Video-Exporten" und "schnellerer Verarbeitung" beworben wird. Das ist eine glatte Lüge. Nach genau 150 exportierten Videos wird die versprochene "schnellere Verarbeitung" abgeschaltet und man landet in einer Warteschlange, die über 36 Stunden dauern kann. Kurz darauf wurde mein Account sogar komplett blockiert und ich konnte keine neuen Videos mehr erstellen – mit der Meldung, mein Limit sei erreicht. Diese massive Einschränkung wird bei der Planbeschreibung mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Der Support ist eine Katastrophe und der eigentliche Grund für diese Bewertung. Man bekommt stunden- und tagelang nur generische, sich wiederholende Textbausteine, die offensichtlich von einer KI oder aus einer Vorlage stammen. Man wird systematisch hingehalten mit Phrasen wie "Wir haben Ihr Feedback weitergeleitet".

Ich wurde um eine Jahresgebühr betrogen! Trotz Nachfrage und Versicherung, dass es storniert wird, wurde überhaupt nichts storniert.
