Alamo Rent A Car レビュー 7

- we hebben een kleine SUV Suzuki Vitara gehuurd en krijgen een kleine wagen in de plaats.
Ik heb er dan ook iets van gezegd dat ik deze wagen niet wilde omdat ik groter heb betaald en een SUV wil.
Meneer heeft me dan de keuze gegeven vermits de Vitara (net verhuurd was ? ) om een Dacia Duster te nemen of een Renault Capture te nemen.
We hebben de Renault genomen maar deze was veel kleiner dan wat we wilde huren en voor betaald hebben.
Er stonden ook grotere modellen maar die kregen we niet mee.
dit is voor ons een reden om geen auto meer bij deze maatschappij te huren.

+ de wagen was netjes en hebben zonder problemen onze borg terug gekregen

It’s a SCAM! AVOID! I rented a car from Iasi airport through Bookings.com. I was 1h late for pick up due to a flight delay to find out that the company did not hold the car for me. There was no car! It gets worse, they would not refund the rental fee I paid in advance. No car, no money! I contacted bookings and they confirmed: acc to rental contract, arriving late “may” result in the car becoming unavailable. Moreover, cancellation cannot be done within 24 before pick up, hence no refund. Brilliant scam, I give you that.

Poor customer service. Delayed deposit refund. Staff told me that normally I have to wait 30 days for the guarantee to be refunded.

Merita minus infinit, atitudinea angajatului este de nedescris. Am facut rezervare, cand sa luam masina.. nimeni in aeroport, am sunat la numarul de telefon afisat ca domnul sa blocheze numarul, fara vreun raspuns doar pentru ca il deranjam. Nu este capabil sa faca diferenta intre AM si PM, ori dispus sa vorbeasca frumos.. sa rezolve o situatie creata tot de el nu poate fi vorba. De toata jena din pacate, masina in parcare si el minte ca acea masina rezervata de noi e a altui client si el nu are ce face decat sa venim sa ne luam masina cand zice el nu cand spune rezervarea facuta pe bani.

They deserve minus infinite, the attitude of the employee is hard to be described cause we can not take any customer service into account. We had a reservation early in the morning and when it was supposed to pick it up nobody was there, we called the number thinking that he may be late, but he didn’t answer or message back, more than that he blocked my phone number cause I was bothering him. He is not able to make any difference between AM and PM time, or to be able to speak nicely or to be helpful, solving a situation creating by him. Unfortunately is one of the worst experience, the car was in the parking lot, and he is lying that that car was for other customer not us. He can’t do anything and the only option for us is to come to take the car when he is saying not when is written in our reservation, reservation made with our money.

Ich habe über eine Vermittlungsagentur einen Mietwagen bei Alamo/Enterprise Tallinn in der Zeit 19.06.-24.06. gemietet und es wurde eine Kaution von 1.300,00 Euro über meine Debit Mastercard geblockt (gg. Extragebühr für die Debit Karte). Bis heute (06.07.2024) wurde die Kaution nicht zurückgezahlt.
Es gab am 20.06. ein Problem mit dem linken vorderen Reifen, in den sich ein Nagel/Schraube gebohrt hatte. Bin sofort zum Alamo/Enterprise-Büro am Flughafen Tallinn gefahren und ich sollte selbst zu einer Werkstatt fahren, die den Schaden sofort behoben hat. Der Alamo/Enterprise-Mitarbeiter teilte mir mit, dass die Kosten von meiner Kaution abgezogen werden. Bis heute, 06.07.24 habe ich weder eine Rechnung der Reparatur erhalten, noch wurde mir die Kaution zurückerstattet.
Mehrfache Anfragen per Mail blieben unbeantwortet. Eine Antwort von der Vermittlungsagentur steht noch aus. Ich befürchte, dass Alamo mittlerweile betrügerisch unterwegs ist und meine Kaution einbehält. Ich werde alles versuchen, meine Kaution minus der Schadenzahlung (max. 200,00 EUR) einzufordern. Es ist übel, dass eine solche international agierende Autovermietung dieses wunderbare Land mit ihren scheinbar betrügerischen Maschen schlecht macht und es scheint so, dass ich abgezockt wurde. Ich hoffe nicht, dass ich auf den eigentlich nur geblockten und dann von Alamo einbehaltenen 1.300,00 EUR sitzen bleibe. Ich werde in der kommenden Woche Strafanzeige gegen Alamo/Enterprise stellen!

The boys were very polite and helpful.
They gave me a free upgrade to the latest model of Toyota Corolla Hybrid with 5000 km on board witch was great to drive.

I rented a Renault Captur (or equivalent) from Alamo Iasi Airport for a road trip to Sulina. I chose Alamo as I needed the security of a big name after being scorched with Klasswagen a few years ago. So I felt that paying a bit more would save us any grief.

The “equivalent” car presented was a Opel Zafira B91GBE. There were a few marks on the vehicle and a warning light for a flat tyre but we agreed that these were ok with the agent and took the car. The interior was a bit worn.

After about a day I realised that the car didn’t feel like a regular rental car - it felt old and I realised that there were 112000 km on the clock. There was a funky smell in it. The flat tyre light was not an error as it turned out - the tyre was actually under inflated! The rear wiper didn’t work, the locking system was not working at all, a non engine start warning kept coming up on the dash board. The only stickers on the car were for Bayern Munich rather than a rental company. Also the front trim was hanging off. You would be surprised how much I missed having a car that actually locked!

Remarkably the car got us where we were going but I dropped an email to the agent and suggested that they probably owed me at least a partial refund as it was of such poor quality.

Eventually they replied suggested that I might be interested in a modest discount off my next rental from them! Yeah right.

I wondered if this car was a ringer and I certainly expected more from Alamo.
