Terrible insurance company

Terrible insurance company ! Very poor service they just ignore claims hoping they will just disappear also very slow returning calls when very urgent do yourself's a favour and use a professional insurance firm.

Alan Boswell Group has blatantly LIED


Alan Boswell Group has blatantly LIED stating on 5th December 2025: "The existing claim will continue as per the terms of the policy" BUT despite sending evidence they requested (Solicitor PAID / RECEIPTS and telling them everything that is going on with the Possession stage etc) and confirming to Alan Boswell that since the 6th November 2025 expiry of Sec.21 there is now DAMAGE by the tenants that has led to an IMPROVEMENT NOTICE and I am now unable to carry out my JOB as a LANDLORD because ALan Boswell Group has Suddenly STOPPED all my Rent Guarantee Income, I am also now having to pay more Court Fees for HOUSING ACT 2004 - Schedule 1, paragraph 10(1). Alan Boswell has NO RIGHT to DELETE my posts as it is NOT currently in the hands of the Ombudsman as I have only just recently got the latest COURT demand! THIS IS WHAT ALAN BOSWELL DO when they say that: "The existing claim will continue as per the terms of the policy" - DO NOT TRUST THEM - IF THEY CAN DO THIS TO ONE LANDLORD who gets an Improvement Notice AFTER the tenants refuse to vacate by Sec,21 then Alan Boswell Group can do it to other Landlords! EVERY TIME THEY DELETE MY COMPLAINTS OFF THIS PAGE - I WILL SIMPLY KEEP ADDING MY COMPLAINT, EACH TIME THERE IS ANOTHER COURT FEE THAT I'M NO LONGER ABLE TO AFFORD TO PAY BECAUSE THE ALAN BOSWELL GROUP HAS NOT KEPT TO WHAT THE EMAILS SAID ON THE 3rd and 5th DECEMBER 2025... LEGALLY - I am entitled to a BOR letter, which is when the LANDLORD dis-instructs the Broker and requests either a) a new Broker to take over prior to the renewal date (which was NOT possible due to their timescale) or b) I am still entitled to deal with the underwriter direct... ALAN BOSWELL has NOT given me ANY of the correspondence they say exists between themselves and the UNDERWRITER (AVIVA) when I made a FULL Subject Access Request AND Alan Boswell Group is still WITHHOLDING my POLICY number from me AND my POLICY DOCUMENTS... So, one would have to ask WHY is Alan Boswell Group WITHHOLDING all of this information from me? UNLESS they are in the WRONG? I want my RGI payments to continue (as per the Terms of the Policy); I want my £1,766 REFUNDED as they do need to ACKNOWLEDGE my RECEIPTS I sent them!!! Plus, I now also have another £114 Court Fee to pay a Tribunal, to APPEAL against my TENANTS "DAMAGE", and a subsequent Council Improvement Notice that is FULL of inaccuracies. I was NOT contacted properly about the NOTICE. It came about AFTER the EXPIRY of my tenants DATE TO VACATE - It's Abuse of Process... The COUNCIL had my EMAIL address from the outset but FAILED to contact me and let themselves into MY PRIVATE property (Trespass) WITHOUT contacting me!

Furthermore:
There have been Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) decisions that have found in favour of Landlords: Ruling that Councils were at fault for advising tenants to “stay put” after a Possession Order was granted, leading to additional rent arrears and Court Costs for the Landlord.
In a 2021 case, the Ombudsman ruled that Brentwood Borough Council had caused injustice to a Landlord by failing to consider Statutory Guidance when it advised tenants to remain after a Possession Order!
The Council (above) was ordered to pay the Landlord LOST RENT and COURT COSTS!

Alan Boswell Groups DUTY is to continue as per the Terms of the Policy - and pay for my £148 WARRANT for Bailiff FEE, I have receipts; plus I'm covered for a LOCKSMITH for Eviction; plus I am INSURED also for my TENANTS leaving all their belongings in my house until such time that their belongings are REMOVED...

I believe I have about £100,000 COVER to COVER my COURT COSTS to DEFEND myself against my tenants DEFENCE to the Section 21 - and this is what all of US LANDLORDS pay INSURANCE for...

WE do not expect it to suddenly be stopped, just with a few days before the POSESSION ORDER HEARING...

Particularly when the tenants have been encouraged by a Local Council to "stay put" - which is ILLEGAL...

Alan Boswell BREACHED my DATA to my tenants, and there was a DECLARATION signed by my tenants that says, they will SHARE ALL INFORMATION with a local COUNCIL...

So, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out that this was a CONFLICT OF INTEREST and when Alan Boswell Group did the OPPOSITE to my written instructions by writing to my tenants and TELLING MY TENANTS who my Rent Guarantee Insurance is with - this was leaving ME OPEN to the Council then contacting my PRIVATE RENT GUARANTEE INSURANCE BROKER and working out ways and means to WRIGGLE OUT of paying me...

THIS IS VERY SERIOUS because Alan Boswell Group is supposed to work for LANDLORDS - NOT for tenants in this instance - and they should NOT be liaising with the COUNCIL when the tenants DAMAGE is a DEPOSIT PROTECTION ISSUE and NOT (I repeat NOT) anything to do with the local Council - Talk about feeding their LANDLORDS to the LIONS!

Simply the best

Over the years l have used many agents for my insurance. Tired of inefficiency and high premiums l searched for a reliable company. I read the reviews which to be honest l always take with a pinch of salt. However I am pleased to confirm that my experience with Alan Boswell has exceeded my expectations.
