I had a downstairs toilet installed in an old porch and a new front door fitted.
I wouldn't hesitate to ask the to do more work in future.
Workmen turned up when expected and in the right order, for a complicated job. The final work was checked by the supervisor to ensure everything was done to order. I am very satisfied with the outcome.
Sometimes communication between us could have been a bit better where I needed to phone Aldersons to check who was coming on which day of the week, and the job took a little longer than anticipated. I also had to make some quick decisions about equipment and would have preferred a little more notice to be sure of my choices.

We first used Aldersons for a 2 bedroom extension 8 years ago and did not hesitate in choosing them again when we wanted to convert a very tired old kitchen and dining room into one fabulous space. We knew combining all the different workmen would be a challenge, but every single one did a great job and liaison between them worked well. Top quality work as always done by competent, friendly people.

Having used Aldersons in the past for a major extension, we were pleased that they were able to help us out with a smaller project to replace two lintels. The work was completed on time and to specification, with any changes advised to us in a timely and professional manner. Although work was required indoors, premises were kept tidy and clean. Would recommend to others.

The bottom section of our wooden double glazed sash window was mended beautifully. As previously a neat and tidy job.

Alderson's converted a garage to a study for me. This involved general building work (floor installation, bricklaying, window fitting), plastering, joinery (custom shelves for some oddly shaped spaces), electrical, plumber for radiator, painting. All of the work was done to a high standard and well coordinated so that the job finished in the 3 week time window I had available. I am happy to recommend this company.

Everything was very efficient from start to finish. The price was kept within the estimates, the team were very considerate of our home and any issues were sorted very quickly. Greg is extremely responsive throughout the project. Would definitely recommend

A fabulous team !! Gregg and everyone did an amazing job of our building work . All the guys were trustworthy, reliable and produced work of the highest standard . I would highly recommend and will be using them again for our orangery . Aftercare was also great and not a problem to come back for snagging etc . Wouldn’t hesitate to use them .

The team worked efficiently. They were always pleasant and considerate, and reliable. The work was in the garden and involved debris being taken through the terrace house and they began with constructing complete protection along the hall way. Very happy with the finished work and would definitely recommend this company.

Well organised, skilled workmen who worked to schedule. Respectful of our house and surrounding properties / neighbours. Always available to assist with any queries, even outside of working hours (including weekends). Excellent standard of work, our new staircase looks fantastic and has really improved our house! Aldersons did a complete renovation of my bathroom. Greg and his team were extremely reliable and professional. Everything ran smoothly with the different trades i.e., plumbing, plastering etc and they always cleared up after. Craig and Chris were very helpful and obliging. I wanted my garage converting to a games room and being relatively new to the area I asked around for recommendations for builders. Alderson's name came up with multiple people - "not the cheapest but very reliable" was a consistent response that I received which frankly is exactly what I wanted. Greg was extremely courteous and professional from the outset and the work was delivered on cost and ahead of time. I'm delighted with the outcome. A special mention for Kevin (what a grafter) and Chris the supervisor who was super helpful. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Alderson's to anyone looking for a reliable and conscientious builder.

We've recently used Aldersons for two separate bathroom projects. Very reliable, good workmanship and value.

We had an extension built, new doors , windows and a kitchen fitted etc Greg Ian and all the team were very professional throughout the process we were able to discuss all aspects and had no issues , the job was completed in the time frame, quality of work was good the estimate was accurate no unforeseen costs. Greg and his team were great. We had multiple jobs done within our project. Greg has lots of specialists across various aspects of building and they were all great! Really pleased with the finish and the guys that turned up to carry out the work were all really friendly and approachable!

An excellent team turned up to do some repairs and paint the exterior of our house. All was completed promptly and professionally. A minor snag was dealt with very promptly.
