My Personal Experience with Alex Leon (Alex Noiwirt)
I normally donât write public reviews, but after several years of following this project, researching its public footprint, speaking with people connected to it, and forming my own opinion, I believe sharing my experience is the right thing to do
My interest in Alex Leon aka Alex Ocean
(real name: Alex Noiwirt) and TILTED trips project started around 2019
Like many others, I was initially attracted by the image that was presented online: luxury destinations, beautiful people, exclusive events, confidence, freedom, entrepreneurship, and the promise of becoming part of an extraordinary international community
Over the years, however, I came to a very different conclusion
The more I researched the public history of the project, watched interviews, reviewed publicly available corporate records, and compared the marketing with what I observed myself, the more I felt there was a significant gap between the public narrative and the underlying reality
One thing that stood out to me was how much the project relied on branding and perception. Luxury, exclusivity, and lifestyle were always at the center of the message. Yet when I looked for transparency, independent evidence of long-term business value, measurable educational outcomes, or open discussion of criticism, I struggled to find convincing answers
Another observation was the apparent influence of James Marshall and Natural Lifestyles philosophy on the overall positioning of the brand. While inspiration is common in business, I personally felt that many of the ideas, messaging, and identity promoted by Tilted closely resembled concepts that had already been popularized elsewhere. Readers interested in understanding the broader background may also find it useful to explore James Marshallâs publicly available work and compare messaging themselves
I also noticed that several people publicly associated with the project in its earlier years have since distanced themselves from it. Those public interviews and statements are available online and are worth watching for anyone who wants to understand different perspectives before making a decision
From my perspective, this raised legitimate questions about the long-term sustainability of the project and about how former collaborators now describe their experience
My biggest disappointment, however, concerns the coaching itself.
Alex frequently presents himself as someone qualified to teach relationships, confidence, personal development, and life strategy. Personally, I found that many of these lessons relied far more on confidence and storytelling than on transparent methodology, evidence, or demonstrated long-term results. I increasingly questioned whether the authority presented through branding was matched by equally strong practical expertise
Throughout my own experience, I often felt that difficult questions were avoided rather than addressed. Image consistently seemed to receive more attention than accountability
This review is not intended to tell anyone what to believe
It reflects my own experience after years of observation, independent research using publicly available information, and my personal interactions with people connected to the project.
My advice to anyone considering purchasing coaching, joining trips, or investing significant money is simple:
Do your own due diligence
Verify public records
Watch interviews with former collaborators
Read criticism as carefully as you read testimonials
Ask difficult questions before committing your trust
not after
For me personally value I expected was not value I ultimately found
