I genuinely enjoyed Alo Moves for several months â the content is great. But when the company announced it was issuing refunds to all subscribers, the process was a complete mess. My mother received her refund automatically. I did not. After going back and forth with customer service, providing receipts and every piece of information they requested, I was eventually told that because I subscribed through Apple, I needed to request the refund through Apple directly. By the time I got that answer, so much time had passed that the transaction no longer appeared as an option in Apple's system. So despite following every step they asked of me, I'm left with no refund and no resolution. If you're going to offer refunds to your customers, you need to be able to actually deliver on that â regardless of how someone subscribed. The runaround was more frustrating than the original issue.

I love this site but just recently theyâve made big changes. going from paid to free. However when I logged in, it was telling me my email does not exist in the system. I had a receipt of payment within that email inbox from less than a month prior. I tried contacting help in the chat box two different times and got no responses. I then just â re-signed upâ using the email and it logged me in like nothing even happened. Still had saved and completed classes on record. Well now today I log in, and nothing is saved, the website seems quite glitchy and when I play a video it pauses every 15 seconds. Not to mention other strange 15 second videos that are new but have no content and is real silent. Makes me wonder if they are doing a whole rework where they know itâs going to have problems, so they made it free. Not because they are being generous but because itâs going to raise disappointment and frustration while they have a broken site. I donât know.. this is my opinion. But alo needs to fix this so I can work all of this Christmas and thanksgiving dinner out of my body!!
Deceptive practices. Nonexistent customer care
Disappointed in their poor customer âcare.â Received an email notifying me of the change of their company name from Alo Moves to Alo Wellness. This rebranding also means that much of their product is now âfree,â so those who are paid subscribers were notified that we would be credited for the portion of our subscription that continues past their conversion date. Well, now their customer care agents are playing dumb and tell me they donât know what I mean and maybe the email was fraud. This is either a planned deception or untrained staff. They sent a protracted email a week after my inquiry, in which they didnât address the subscription credit but instead they feigned concern that I was reporting a fraudulent email. Iâm not reporting a fraud, as no scammer would take time to send an email from Alo Moves to tell me about their exciting rebrand and that subscribers would be credited for months they paid for what is now free. The condescension or sheer ignorance of the staff and the email they sent is enough to warrant this 1 star review. I would not advise spending money this company considering the challenges I am facing with their dishonesty.

I bought a lifetime membership couple years ago and suddenly my card was charged out of the blue for a ridiculous amount. When I called customer service, they wanted my full credit card number from years ago and when I explained I didn't have it, they actually hung up. The rudest reps are manning the phones and refuse to let you talk to anyone else. I literally asked to talk to anyone else and the guy just kept saying no. And then he would laugh hang up and I'd have to call from another number and he thought it was a big joke. I actually had to call my bank so they would stop taking money out.
Worst costumer service
I agree with previous . reviews. Custom service is the worst ever. Is not that is non-existent, it does exist to make you frustrated and to ware your time. They totally ignore you no matter how you contact them. Iâve been a loyal customer for years and havenât had any problem until now. When I tried to renew my membership, they offered me a discount that I couldnât apply. When I finally got an answer from them after many hours chatting, they told me that they donât do that anymore. All while I was getting another email with another discount.

Frustrating and Unresolved Customer Service Over Weeks of Contact
I can honestly say this is beyond disappointingâitâs genuinely frustrating and infuriating. I have been emailing Alo (specifically Alo Moves support) since August 13 trying to resolve an issue, only to receive a vague, unhelpful reply that effectively closes the door without offering any resolution.
As a long-time customer, I expected better from a company with such a premium reputation. Letting the $99 promotion expire while my inquiries were repeatedly ignored is unacceptable.
The lack of responsiveness, clarity, or empathy from support has left me feeling undervalued and unheard. I will be sure to share my experience not only through this review, but also across other platforms and in ratings to warn others considering Alo or Alo Moves.

WORST customer service ever. I have been a loyal customer of Alomoves for years because the classes & workouts are great but I had been having issues accessing my account for months. After chasing multiple times I managed to speak to someone and I had to open a new account. It came out I was being double-charged for over three months. Piece of advice: improve customer service.

On two occasions they have taken 1.5+ months to reply to an email about being wrongly charged, and replied " Weâre currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries, which is impacting our response time.", which is quite frankly ridiculous and would be unacceptable in any other industry. Imagine if you took 6 weeks to reply to an email at work?! I chased multiple times and had to resort to commenting on their instagram posts (which they obviously deleted) to request a response, which I hate having to do. They never resolved the issue and I had to get my bank to refund the transaction.
Such a shame, as I would have considered subscribing in future as I actually think the workout videos are great, but given this complete lack of customer service I definitely won't

This is the absolute and utter worst thing I have ever paid money to. I purchased a total of 30 entire series before they switched to only subscriptions. I paid fully and entirely for these series and they were not cheap at all.
Now they have been stolen from me by Alo moves Alo yoga. I paid for these items fair and square and full price! Iâve repeatedly contacted them to get access to these classes Iâve completed and are in my account but they do not help you, theyâve asked for my email I signed up with and magically (they donât see me in their system) ok sure. Ask me for my card I used they of course âdonât have record of thatâ either. Now Iâm supposed to dig up years worth of financial records, for some accounts I can no longer access in order the see IF theyâd honor at least what I find.
Iâm not asking for a membership. Iâm asking for the classes Iâve paid for that said on there that they were Lifetime purchases. THEY ARE THEIVES AND DO NOT CARE AT ALL itâs rediculous and fraudulent to sell things promising something and then pretend to have complete data loss and or amnesia of having received several thousand dollars in payments from me.

Alo moves has nonexistent customer service! When I finally got threw I got the same answer sorry nothing we can do. I suffered a concussion and still under Dr care and gave them a note that I was unable to exercise (I was out of work too) for 5 months. I was asking for them to just extend the membership. I originally called 1 month in to ask to freeze it but they said they can't do it. They take your money and run. I will cancel my plan!

Alo Moves customer service is the worst I have encountered. My credit card was double billed for their membership (once through Apple Pay and once directly) and after 8 emails and over 4 hours spent on hold over 3 different days with Alo Moves, nothing was resolved except my membership was then also cancelled. They also claim they are unable to refund purchases made via Apple Pay and that I will need to pursue a refund through Apple. I have now been charged twice, have no access to the classes and Alo's response has continuously been that there is nothing they can do.

Charged for membership; but account is still inactive
I have been completely unable to access my paid account, and customer service has been utterly useless in resolving the issue. Despite multiple attempts via email, phone calls, and chats, no one has been able to provide a solution. After exhausting every possible avenue, I had no choice but to give upâunfortunately, because the content is excellent. However, that means nothing if I canât access what I paid for.
From what I've read here, getting a refund is almost impossible. I'm so disappointed!! What an awful company!
Alo Moves are robbers
I have emalied Alo Moves support TWICE to advise they had deducted another year's fees from my account, after I had already cancelled my membership via their website, before it was due to renew. However that same day, I received an email receipt for another year's fees. Not only was I charged for another year after I had already cancelled my membership via the website, the receipt stated the amount was $142.99 and included Australian GST - yet $235.46 was dedicted from my credit card, so I assume they charged me in US dollars! The previous year, I was charged $112.42.
I will be reporting Alo Moes to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for fraud, and I will write terrible reviews of their business, wherever I can.
They make unauthorized charges, beware...
I bought a coat in December and have now been charged $199 for a membership to AloMoves that I never signed up for. I'm currently on hold with customer service, have been waiting for at least 10 min for the rep to come back. Not sure what is taking so long but I will never buy anything at Alo again. Update-the rep finally came back and stated that they're having a problem with the system where it charges people automatically. Unacceptable. Now I get to wait 2-4 days for my refund.

I canât believe how bad their service is. I spend $148 on a sweat shirt 2 months ago that looked 5 years old even though I hang dried it. Store wouldnât help me. Corporate agreed to do a straight exchange for the same item, and then never sent me the return label. I emailed them 3 times for the label and nothing. Went back to the store and they wonât help me. Iâve spent thousands at Alo and am DONE. Worst customer service. Back to Lululemon and Vuori where they stand behind their products and care about their customers.
