Alisha Mitten is a consummate professional. Her ability to listen to my needs and concerns and develop actionable solutions has allowed me to make the most of my grant-funded shoestring budget. Alisha is a creative problem solver and has been willing to use her many talents in various facets of our projects. One example of this is the way in which Alisha took several separate platforms and stitched them together to make a seamless event management system, complete with outreach, event promotion and registration, and scheduling tools. The time and effort she put in to developing this workflow has allowed my program to thrive, free of technical hiccups!
While Alisha is classified as a consultant, she approaches her work as though she was a full-time team member, bringing enthusiasm and genuine interest to each item on our to-do list. I cannot recommend Mitten Systems highly enough!

Onboarding Experience:
After the pandemic, re-entering the workforce as a Consultant was a new and daunting experience for me. Alisha and I met several times in January, February & March 2022 (and moving forward, whenever I request) to introduce me to a few platforms I would be working with but had never used before.
She soon realized that the way I learn best was through interactive instruction as well as documents, spreadsheets and timetables outlining the processes so that I could review in Test sequences on my own. Repetitive instruction soon gave me the confidence I needed to do the database part of my job. The interaction with clients was a more natural process for me although she also created templates to help get the conversation started with our clients.
That intuition - the ability to recognize how other people learn - does not come naturally to most instructors. But in Alisha's case, it was crucial to making my onboarding sessions swift, accurate and productive.
I still could not ask for a better teacher when it comes time to learn a new skill on our platforms or in customer and sales support.
