Toller Service und sehr lecker 💜

I have been a customer for 20 years and like to meet friends for the business lunch. The atmosphere in the outside inside long room is like an old temple and I loved it, especially when they rolled the roof open, just wonderful. The lunches came with a free soup and the food and service was great.
The food and service are still very good at lunches though the soups has gone.
What is very startling and has been over the last few years is the move towards it getting the atmosphere of a startup works-canteen. Whole teams come in and whole swathes of tables are reserved for larger more famous startups. A couple of years ago there were the groups there but this year the work team groups have taken over at lunch until the whole place is full of them, lots coming at once, rocking up in groups of 6s and 7s. OK I admit it's fun to play spot the IT team, spot the marketing team, spot the sales team but the lovely atmosphere is being affected. Also the startup teams although very diverse all seem to be in the same age range which makes you wonder where older colleagues disappear to. It used to be a dinner couples place. Well I guess this is a good way to have a revenue stream, other restaurants come and go in the area. If I go again I guess I will try and sit in the older area rather than the huge temple room. At least the food comes really fast now, they have to be ready for all the teams coming at once. What was once a 4 star experience for me is now kind of at a 3 and I feel sad.

Authentisches indisches Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen – sehr zu empfehlen.

Nice friendly waiters. Food is mediocre. Most everything you order is greasy and filled with cream sauce. For whatever reason they use tons of cream in the dishes. Almost inedible!

Turned up without reservation. Was seated swiftly, orders taken and food delivered in a timely fashion. I appreciate the food wasn’t cooked to order but they were so so busy I can’t imagine it had been stood long. Easy to see why it was so busy. The staff were impeccable and Ammy who looked after us was brilliant. If you are in Berlin pay these guys a visit

Wonderful food and a great overall experience. Our server ,Deep, was very kind and hospitable, the service was fast and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling in Berlin.

Very bad experience.
The food was not warm.
Easy to taste and see that it was food that had been made in huge amounts and been standing for hours. From we ordered it took less than tree minutes til our table was filled with disches. Not filled with flavors as Indian food normally is.
Poor experience all over.

Der erste Besuch im neu Eröffneten Restaurant Amrit in Oberschneitbach hatte uns gut gefallen. Deswegen sind wir wieder hingegangen um ein weiteres Gericht (Amrit Thali - 2 Pers.) zu probieren. Das Essen war sehr lecker, nicht zu scharf und der Reis perfekt. Wir wurden wieder sehr freundlich von Mutter und Tochter empfangen und bedient. Die gratis Vorspeise war ebenfalls wieder köstlich und als Nachspeise ist die Mango Creme zu empfehlen. Als Abschluss gab es einen gratis Mango-Schnaps 😊👍

Terrible not authentic Indian food. I was served stale paneer and then the servers argued with us to tell us that we were wrong.
The food there also has so much food colouring that it looks unnatural. Worst Indian restaurant- it’s a shame to have other cultures associating India with amrits food.

If you like Indian food and youre in Berlin, you must visit this restaurant, The Amrit.
The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly, the service is so good and the decor is beautiful and even better, its all for a great price. I highly recommend a visit. We enjoyed it so much on our trip we made it our business to visit two more times during our stay. We all agreed when we return, we will visit again. Super tasty 😋

Ich habe heute mit einigen unserer Freunde dort gegessen.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war nur befriedigend. Der Grillteller mit Lamm war sehr scharf, aber nicht als scharf gekennzeichnet, das Essen war teilweise nur noch lauwarm. Die Koktails waren OK, das Personal zu vorkommend.
