The service is great and their prices are reasonable.

Have used Andrew Foster for past 5 years or so on several vehicles I have owned for MOT, service and repairs. I have always been very happy with their work and price. In fact I can honestly state they have gone above and beyond. One time I took my Range Rover in for service and they took care of a repair that Land Rover quoted over £2400, Andrew Foster charged me £600 and I know it was not an easy job. Many thanks!!!

I drove my vehicle to this garage and had it returned unable to start and so far a complete refusal to acknowledge the damage they have caused or to correct this.

Utterly awful service.

No invoice, no details of what they have done. Can't believe they are still in business. Worst experience with an garage I've ever had.

I took my car in today staff were great and for the time they spent on car I believe they only charged the bare minimum.

After the sudden death of my friend, who I had lent my car to, I discovered the vehicle had been left with this garage. They carried out a faulty repair, but rather than taking responsibility, they now expect me to return the vehicle at my own expense—despite me living 70 miles away.

To make matters worse, the car has suffered body damage, which they claim was present when it was dropped off. They're saying my deceased friend must have done it. I’ve asked for evidence to support this, but so far they’ve failed to provide any.

Their response has been not only unprofessional but deeply insensitive—going so far as to suggest I’m just trying to get a free repair. Dismal service. Avoid.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I was initially impressed by the gentlemen I spoke to and therefore booked the car in to have some small but urgent work and the MOT. The price turned out to be extortionate and the MOT, which failed, was a significant sum of money. A few calls to compare quotes with other garages confirmed my suspicions their pricing strategy was mercenary as they were 30 - 40% more expensive for the same jobs and from chatting with colleagues ive learnt this is well known due to their location. They refused to price match or even move a little bit which would have helped dampen my annoyance and perhaps I would not be writing such a negative review. Do not be fooled by the "family values" they espouse as there are much better value garages in Winchester. I will be avoiding this place in the future.

My van did not pass the MOT. I was given a quote of over 800 pounds to pass. Had a gut feeling I was being taken for a ride. My 800 pound bill was reduced to a mere 300 pounds with a few phone calls. Saving over 500 pounds...really. This quote was daylight robbery. Please please get other quotes. Used this garage for years, wondering how much it has cost me

I recently had my car serviced and M.O.T at Andrew Foster garage in Winchester and can honestly say they do a thorough job of it. Andrew is very honest and will give you lots of advice on how to take care of your vehicle. Yes, he might be a bit pricier than most garages around but what price do you pay for piece of mind. I have an Audi A4 and I could have taken it to Audi but the price comparison for Audi was more than I can accept. I will choose to take my vehicle to Andrew Foster in the future knowing I can get an honest value.

Andrew Foster and his team have been looking after my cars since 2001. My cars have been classic sports cars and more straightforward millennial cars. Service is always good and priced fairly. Not many people in this trade I trust.

I booked my car in for an MOT yesterday and it failed. The garage phoned me late afternoon to say they would give me a quote in the mornings g for the necessary work. I heard nothing so called them today at noon to see if they had the quote. After some some initial confusion, they told me they had already started on the repair work. I was very surprised as I had no idea how much the work would cost. When I went to collect the car this afternoon the bill came to over £350. I understand that they should not have carried out the work without my permission. Not happy as I could have got an alternative quote. I will not be going back there.
