Great to work with

Awful compared to other similar platforms
Unlike other similar platforms you cannot log-in and enter your demographics. Thus, when a project appears on the 'Current Projects' page you are required to enter your demographic info for every project application. Tedious, slow and annoying.
The second big issue is the ridiculously low 'hit rate'. I've been selected for 1 project in the last 15 months. I believe I have applied for about 35. It is essentially a complete waste of your time. And yes my demographics are right for a lot of the projects I have applied for on this platform. For comparison the hit rates on similar platforms are way higher (about 15% on Respondent and User Interviews and over 30% on UserTesting).

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We would really appreciate hearing a bit more about your experience with re-entering demographic information. I have double-checked this on our side, and the demographic page should auto-fill with your saved details. It does still appear for each study so that participants can update anything that may have changed, such as a change of location etc. In addition, some screeners re-ask for age because the required age brackets can vary from study to study.
Regarding your point about the hit rate, we currently have over 40,000 community members, many of whom are keen to take part in research. Some studies only require as few as 5 participants, while others may need 100 or more. We also work within specific client quotas, so even if someone meets the criteria, demand often means that only a small proportion of applicants are successful.
I can see that you last took part in a study in April of last year, and we hope that this was a positive experience. I am sorry that your other applications have felt like a waste of time. If you would prefer to have your details removed from our database, we would of course be happy to arrange that.

Yet again!!!
Yet again, I was one of the very few "privileged" to take part in the "Angelfish Opinions" IKEA project. It was an 'in-house' visit for this project in early February 2026!
Having been part of their projects in the past, I was excited to be part of this new venture. I was not disappointed, and the various interactions with their project team were very engaging. We had some interesting discussions pertaining specifically to their project, and I must say it was all very constructive and meaningful! Thank you once again, Angelfish, for the opportunity to be part of your many ongoing projects, and I look forward to making further contributions, should I be required to do so!

I have done two market research…
I have done two market research projects with Angelfish now and have found them really professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend trying them out if you are thinking of doing market research. There is a huge variety of subjects that they cover.. some are online and some are in person so you can choose the ones that work for you.

Angelfish are one of the best companies when it comes to surveys and incentives, they always communicate throughout the process so you know what’s going to happen and update any changes. Payment is always prompt and I would highly recommend them to family and friends without any issues

First research project with Angelfish a success
This was my first research project with Angelfish, a video chat. The subject was relevant to me, the other four participants engaging and interesting to talk to. The facilitator was very good at ensuring that everyone had an opportunity to contribute and that we stuck to timeline. An enjoyable way to spend an hour of my time and get paid for it!

Always had great experiences
All the research I’ve taken part in has always been well communicated and executed by Angelfish. Their remuneration for the projects are always more than fair, for the time you’ve taken, and are always paid in a timely manner.

Their forms are long
Their forms are long, so they basically make money from naive people who are spending their limited time ( as if you didnt have anything else to do) on filling forms.
Any form longer than 5 -7 prescreening questions is long.
