I have just bought very special, premium writing instruments from Appelboom through the E-shop. First of all the web pages are informative, containing excellent photographs of each pen. The selection of premium pen brands is one of the largest I have come across, as a long time pen collector. Browsing the Appelboom pages is worthwhile. The fullfillment of the order is best in class. What one would expect today from a top player in its field of business. Overall Appelboom is a must adress for every serious pen collector.

Super fast delivery and the items were very securely and lovingly packaged. Even a query from me was answered very quickly and kindly. I am super satisfied with the entire purchasing experience and very happy with my new writing instrument and the ink.

I had the best experience today at the German Pen Show in Hamburg. I bought two beautiful Dominant Industry inks and had a really nice chat. Thank you guys for making me very happy today!

I wanted a new fountain pen in order to try an oblique medium nib. The pen I chose from Appelboom's site was in stock but not with that nib size, so I sent photos of me holding a pen, and Mr. Joost Appelboom had their nib specialist, Anabelle Hiller, grind the nib to the size I wanted, adjusting it uniquely for how I hold my pen. The wait for this service was approximately two weeks. Appelboom sent me tracking, and once the pen left Holland it arrived to the U.S.A. in a few days, beautifully boxed and wrapped. After writing a few sentences it became my favorite; I have dreamed of a pen like this.

I have not found any other pen seller with their own nib master for customizing pens. Appelboom also offers their nib master’s service for free to “Tune & Smooth” the nibs of many fountain pens they sell. It’s a choice one makes at checkout. The pen I bought would have cost me substantially more in the USA. I was impressed that the director and owner of the company himself, Mr. Joost Appelboom, e-mailed me back and forth to help me get the nib I wanted. I like to purchase from a company with a passion for its own product, and this is evident in Joost’s many pen videos. I like watching him interview pen specialists from all over the world on his YouTube channel, “Appelboom Pennen.”

I looked online at many pen sellers. Appelboom stood out as the best choice because of its large selection, its nib-customizing service, its excellent prices and reputation, its newsletter, its website’s helpful information sections, as well as Joost Appelboom’s well known presence in the international pen community. My experience with Appelboom has been superb, and I recommend this company heartily.

First order but most definitely wont be the last, the pen I wanted was out of stock and I'd requested nib work/check done prior. Was communicated with and warned of 3 week delay, in end was only two week and shipment to UK was super-quick and fully informed by both DHL and Appelboom at every stage the package details and whereabouts until it arrived at my door.

Pen was beautiful but most importantly the nib was super super smooth and lovely and juicy wet as the broad nib should be, The ink left in the pens converter enabled me to do a very quick check before those last drops ran out.

Ink was so nice I emailed and asked what the ink was not expecting a response till post the weekend.. Amazed that the director responded that evening with the ink details.. above and beyond Appelboom.

I've not even needed to mention the two mini-stroopwaffels placed in the box.

Appelboom….een fijn bedrijf…een voorbeeld voor veel andere webshops….simpel bestellen, snel en correct geleverd, keurig verpakt en dat met een nette prijsstelling.
Maakt het leuk jezelf een cadeautje te geven.

Altijd goede ervaringen. In het verleden pennen gekocht, en recent Dominant Industry inkt aangeschaft. Verzending is snel, goed te volgen en alles is vooral heel goed verpakt. Prachtige pennen en inkt blijven toch een beetje oude producten, dus dan is de extra aandacht bij de verpakking een cadeautje, en dat (gelukkig) zonder een overdaad aan verpakkingsmateriaal. Zeer tevreden en mijn volgende aankoop staat vast gepland…
