would like to thank the delivery team…

would like to thank the delivery team for providing outstanding customer service.

The first time my sofa was due to be delivered, there was an incorrect address on the system due to a mistake made by a Sofology agent. The two delivery drivers, Graham and Mark, were incredibly patient, respectful, and understanding throughout the situation. They waited while I contacted Sofology to have the address corrected so that my delivery could be rearranged.

Unfortunately, the customer service agent I spoke to at Sofology was rude and unhelpful. Despite this, Graham and Mark went above and beyond to support me. After the agent ended the call, they took the initiative to call back themselves, explained my situation, including the fact that I don’t have a car, and spoke directly with the agent to help resolve the issue. Thanks to their professionalism and willingness to help, everything was sorted without me having to travel to a Sofology store.

When my sofas were delivered on the rearranged date, the delivery drivers, Tom and Lee, were equally exceptional. They were friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful. They carried the sofas all the way up to the third floor without a single complaint and did so with a positive attitude throughout. They treated my home with care and were genuinely kind and respectful.

All four drivers—Graham, Mark, Tom, and Lee—provided customer service that went far beyond what I expected. They turned what could have been a very stressful experience into a positive one through their professionalism, kindness, and dedication. They are a real credit to the delivery company, and I hope they receive the recognition they truly deserve.
Just to mention sofology has sent me a good will gift to compensate for the error made

2nd drop of the day and the driver and labourer decide they don’t want to drive up the access lane to us in their 7.5t truck despite it’s being fully accessible by 18t trucks and serviced by 4 different council bin trucks on a weekly basis - can’t ring them directly so spoke to DFS who said would have the warehouse ring us back…. Guess what?

Rude, belligerent disrespectful delivery driver

To be clear, I wasn't a customer, however I am a neighbour of someone who had a delivery. I have tried all morning to contact the Sofa Delivery company, it is impossible and now makes sense why the driver was so disgracefully rude, belligerent and disrespectful. He clearly knew that the chances of a complaint being lodged were impossible.
The large van had blocked my driveway when I returned home, causing traffic to back up on my road in both directions . After trying to get their attention, the driver finally came out to move his van... but only enough to give me access to put my car on my drive and then blocked my car on my drive. When I asked him not to block me in, his answer was to tell me to manoeuvre my car onto my neighbours drive to get out, as I was going straight back out after dropping shopping off. Appalling behaviour and abuse, however as you can't contact the Sofa co, it makes perfect sense that he feels he could act this way without fear of consequences.

Delivered to wrong address!!!

I had a scheduled time slot after buying a sofa from Sofology. I was told I would get a call an hour before and it never came. My order was marked as delivered. It wasn’t delivered to me. I contacted sofology who stated the order has been marked as delivered, signed for and proof of delivery was made. But again not to me. Sofology cannot confirm who or where my sofa has been delivered. They in the process of “ investigating “. I would not recommend buying any sofa from a company that subcontracts for this company given my own experience and clearly a similar experience as many other customers. Completely unacceptable that orders are not being fulfilled and £1300 sofas are just being delivered to random people.

Never use these

Absolute shambles. Ordered a sofa from Maze which had a delivery estimate of 9th April. On 8th April I missed a call from these guys at 7.30am to arrange delivery. I called back 9 times during the course of the day - straight to voicemail. I called 3 times on 9th April in the morning - straight to voicemail. They eventually returned my call on the afternoon of 9th April to say they couldn't deliver it until 21st April with a 12 hour delivery window and I would be contacted the day before. I asked if we could move it to the 23rd and it took over a week and 3 chasers for them to reply to the email to say no. It's now 21st April. I have made arrangements with builders and neighbours to cover the delivery if I could give them a time. I have not been contacted as promised with a delivery window. I have no idea if / when it's turning up. I have tried calling 3 times - straight to voicemail. This is a £5k sofa. Absolutely appalling service. MAZE and anyone else please stop using them, they are damaging your reputation. I will not be buying any more furniture from a store that uses them as the delivery partner.

I hope Sofology rethink using this company…

I hope Sofology rethink their relationship with this company. Absolute shambles. My sofa was meant to arrive two days ago. The delivery company decided to just cancel it after waiting all day. Zero communication from The Sofa Delivery Company. The driver didnt even bother calling, just cancelled it at the last minute. Hung up on any calls as well. Now we cant get through to anyone there or any answers. They have given a new delivery date which is too far away and completely unacceptable. Meanwhile we have no sofa now. I will be looking to raise my complaint to managment.

Nightmare

Unfortunately, the delivery experience completely ruined what should have been an exciting day.
The two delivery men were rude, abrupt, and unprofessional from the moment they arrived. Simple conversation was met with sarcasm

The staff members damaged my property and they didn't seem to care.

DFS customer services is useless just like the delivery company!

Utter Rubbish

Utter Rubbish! What a bunch of clowns these guys are. Failed to deliver on the arranged day, no phone call, nothing! Followed them on tracking and while they managed to deliver to someone a mile down the road from us, they just decided not to bother with us, despite the fact that our deliver was no5 in the schedule, and the house a mile away was delivery 7. They then headed 10 miles in the opposite direction, only for the tracking update to then say "Sorry we couldn't deliver today". I'm guessing staff dress code is clown shoes and red noses?! Useless!

Great delivery Service

Great delivery Service, phoned ahead and on time. Had to pack up my original suite from DFS as a damaged armchair was originally delivered and 2 seater sofa that was delivered as a 3 with different batch number and colour feet! Very patient, courteous and understanding as I checked all new items batch numbers. Laid blankets to protect my carpets. Thank you Ashley and Dave making this a good experience after problem with first delivery from DFS House Beautiful range.

Appalling customer service

Ordered a sofa from dfs, on the day of delivery, they were over 2 hours late, then they were waiting on the top of my road for 30 mins, they attended and they made no attempts to get the sofa into my living room and advised that they will be taking the sofa back and another team will be delivering and left with my sofa, contacted DFS who just advised will rebook. Appalling customer service,

Fantastic delivery service

Had our DFS sofas delivered by The Sofa Delivery Company and they were fantastic. Called us ahead of the delivery to let us know when they'd arrive and then arrived on time. They were very courteous and took their shoes off before walking on any carpets, and they made a point of being careful of the walls and door frames. Sofas were delivered immaculately with no mess, and they were both polite and in good spirits despite how icy our street was.

Cowboys

Sofology decided to use this company to deliver our sofa and what a shambles of events it turn out to be.

Having already had issues with our first sofa the company needed to collect the original order and replace it with the new one.

Sofology customer service were informed to put a note on the job sheet for the delivery team to be mindful of our wooden floor as it marks easily if precautions are not taken. This was also made clear to the delivery team when they arrived at our property.

The delivery was a 1 hour 30 minute late arriving and we got the impression that they were in a rush. There was no consideration or courtesy when entering our home as no protective material was used to protect the wooden flooring.

Despite constantly mentioning to be careful we are left with numerous dents, scratches and marks on our wooden floor due to the companies incompetence.

We complained straight away to Sofology why the delivery team was still at our property and we took several photos of the damage that we noticed at the time and followed up with further photos once the delivery team had finished.

It has taken 6 weeks of numerous calls and emails to try and resolve the damage that The Sofa Delivery Company had caused and we still haven’t managed to resolve a reasonable settlement amount.

The person from the company that we have spoken to each time has no customer skills and it’s totally unprofessional.

We are now left with a wooden floor that has been damaged by these clowns and a hefty price tag to replace the floor or try and professionally fix the marks with a French polisher.

Thank you The Sofa Delivery Company and Sofology for all the stress and damaging our property.

Highly recommend! Friendly and professional

Damian & Jordan were great. They delivered our sofa with ease and care, and were respectful of property, but were quick at the same time. They called ahead of the delivery, and understood where the sofa needed to be delivered. Very impressed with their friendly nature and professionalism. Asked if everything was in good condition when it was set up, and even put gliders on the sofa as requested. Would highly recommend!

Extremley Poor Service

My furniture bought from DFS should have been delivered on Friday 12th December. Time slot 5-7pm rang after 7pm to be told 2 more drops then me. Rang at 9pm phone lines closed - item disappeared from the tracker. No courtesy call was made and no e-mail received the following day. I rang them and politley rescheduled my delivery for today. I then took a second day off work for this. Lorry arrived today without my order on board. I work in the NHS and have wasted 2 valuable days holiday for nothing. Manager was supposed to ring me but hasn't. Absoluley appalling service especially before Xmas.The only positive was the actual delivery guys who were clearly embarassed, I felt sorry for them having to deal with an upset customer when it wasnt their fault.

Appalling attitude from the delivery people

Appalling attitude from the delivery people. Blocked the road despite the delivery address leaving their drive empty. Completely NFI, making hard work of ripping up the boxes etc. whilst the road was blocked in both directions for twenty minutes! Unpacked the sofas on the road behind their lorry so that they couldn't back up to let anyone through.

Fantastic Delivery by 2 great guys.

After an extremely bad experience with DFS regarding my order, I’m so happy with the delivery done by The Sofa Delivery Company of my Halston Right Hand Facing Chaise Unit today. The delivery guys there was 2 of them were on time & arrived well within the time slot I was allotted, they kept me informed of when they would arrive & also called me if there were any issues like gaining access where I live. I CANNOT fault these guys, they were both very polite & friendly, showed huge respect for my property, & myself as I’m extremely ill & on an oxygen machine. I would definitely have these 2 guys deliver to me again, it was a pleasure to have them in my home they made very little mess & took all the packaging etc away with them too. I hope the company keeps these 2 guys because they are a brilliant asset to them & represented the company extremely well. Kudos to them both for a job done very well.

Useless

Useless
Purchased a sofa. Expected the sofa to be delivered Monday 16th . Got a call at 4:30 “I’m stuck in Watford not going to make it “ I live in dunstable ?! Cs will call in 24-48 hours. I can’t wait as already got rid of my sofa after confirming on Friday it would come. Called them myself who then called the driver and he said he’d try to deliver. I have rang every day this week to be left with no answer. I need it for Saturday and al they can offer is next week delivery. Had a call yesterday offering me Friday delivery but I’m working so asked about Saturday “ I’m not sure I’ll call you back” didn’t call back today ?! The sofa company staff are even more useless they emailed me at 3:24 I replied at 3:26 shock no reply and she finished work at 4. So now I’m left with no sofa and my family will have to sleep on the floor. £129 for no delivery what a joke. To make it worse I mead a complaint and they said they’ll contact me 24-72 hours

Extremely poor service

UPDATE. !!!!! It is now 1pm Tuesday 10/06. 1hr before my delivery WAS due. Just checked the tracking and the delivery van is heading back up the M5 motorway. Again my sofa has not been delivered. So order cancelled. 😡😡😡😡Extremely poor service. My sofa should have been delivered on Saturday 07/06. Drop no11. A route that would never of completed but I remained optimistic. Very poor routing. My sofa didn’t turn up I received a message ring this number to re book no answer after 11 minutes. Then tried again Sunday no answer after 9minutes. The sofa company claim to have tried to call me 4 times leading up to my delivery. But all they did was text ring this number and when you rang it it wouldn’t even connect. I wrote a 1* review for Dfs’s within the hour I get the sofa co on the phone arranging a delivery. But not first thing Monday. Anytime Tuesday 10/6. Very poor service. No customer service I lost a days pay waiting in and paid £130 delivery for the privilege. Definitely would not recommend.

Driver Scraped my vehicle as they turned

Need to teach their drivers how to drive , watched them negotiate the truck round my car from my home window , as they turned by the rear of my vehicle , I heard a scraping noise , I went out and there was a scratch on the corner of my rear bumper , just caught the name of the company on the truck as it went up the road , unfortunately I can’t prove it , but I know there wasn’t a scrape mark on it the day before,

No respect for our home!

Saturday 15th of February. Had our new sofa, recliner chair and footstool delivered today. The two men who delivered our furniture had no respect for our home whatsoever! They dragged muck all through our living room and left mud all over our cream rug. Bloody good job I have a carpet cleaner!!!
