Do not purchase, it does not work.

I purchased a Microtech last year. I purchased it on a recommendation that this was the new, innovative, and, revolutionary pain reliever. However, so far there has been no decrease in my pain levels or discomfort. I have used it exactly as instructed, twice in fact, but have not felt any relief whatsoever. As I cannot actually feel anything, I am unsure whether the machine actually works or if it is an elaborate placebo machine where they have just given me a plastic box with some lights and a beeper.
Additionally, I have contacted them via email but have not received an answer, which suggests they don't really care about customer care or satisfaction. A complete waste of money, money that would have been better utilised on a high-end pair of supports.

Thank you for your email and the information that you have provided relating to your usage of the Arc4Health device. We are sorry to hear that you feel that you have not received any improvements for pain relief.

Microcurrent therapy is known to be an effective tool for reducing chronic pain and is one of the most common reasons for which the Arc4Health is purchased for. The Arc4Health itself has been through extensive testing and regulatory ‘hoops’ in order to be a Class IIa medical device, certified for pain management and tissue repair. In order to receive regulatory approval, we had to prove not only safety but also efficacy.

However, due to the vast number of individual differences everybody will respond to microcurrent differently. Whilst the majority do experience notable benefits and improvements there is likely to be a very small number of people who do not respond to microcurrent therapy, which is why we are unable to offer any guarantees.

In the unlikely event that a person experiences little or no improvements we tend to find that people start to notice some benefits by completing an extended treatment protocol. This may include using the device on consecutive days, running through more than one treatment a day, and using a different selection of programmes.

We are here to help and are very happy to provide ongoing advice going forward.

Can we suggest that you alternate between Programmes 1 and 2, using the device as often as you are able. We very much hope that the cumulative benefits over time start to provide you with some improvements.

If we can be of further assistance, please do let us know.

Unfortunately didnt work for me.

Unfortunately didnt work for me.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and understand while there is no actual cure I was hoping for a reduction in pain by way of a reduction in inflamation.
Despite following the ARC programme for over 12 months I have noticed no improvement and reluctantly decided to stop using the unit.

Extremely good customer service, the product itself is amazing, cannot recommend highly enough. Long COVID, polymyalgia, huge difference with pain and so easy to use

No change after 4 months use

The wife & I have been using Arc4health religiously now for the last 4 months, and I can honestly say we have NOT noticed any change at all. We got it purely on reading reviews from others and thought we'd give it a go, what we got to lose.. Nothing, apart from the expense.. We will carry on persevering, but at this moment in time not sure for how long.

Chronic nasal inflammation

I would give the company 5 stars, as well as the overall quality of the product. I was hopeful that the ARC4Health might help me gain relief from chronic nasal inflammation/stuffiness following a nasty sinus virus that went on for weeks, which laid me so low that I also then caught Covid and was quite poorly with that. When I started using the ARC I was dealing with a debilitating cough from Covid on top, so desperate to regain my health.

Four weeks into using the ARC my cough (which I had had for 6 weeks) finally cleared up. It's difficult to know if the ARC helped, as coughs can linger before resolving. However I would say that it went from being bad (eating and talking made it worse and I was constantly sucking lozenges, etc)....to improving suddenly where I was only coughing after showering in the morning. No cough at all now.

I was desperate for an improvement in my nasal problem and this was the main reason I bought the ARC. The stress of it going on so long has caused anxiety and depression and impacted my daily life considerably, but despite sticking to the protocol, it sadly hasn't helped.

I emailed the company after 6 weeks and got a very quick helpful reply, suggesting that I try using it more than once a day on settings 1 & 2. Nearly two weeks in and still suffering.

I do know of two people personally who have long Covid who have had great results - especially for fatigue - so I would recommend it to anyone dealing with that, but with the caveat that it is expensive and there are no guarantees. On the positive side, there are no side effects and it is not problematic or inconvenient to use. And when you are really suffering you will try anything to be well. Just didn't work for me.

Didn’t work for me

I tried this for 6 weeks for pain relief but it didn’t have any effect I’m afraid. I have fibromyalgia.

LONG COVID TASTE AND SMELL

I CANT BELIEVE THIS DEVICE HAS BROUGHT BACK 95% OF MY TASTE AND SMELL WHICH I LOST DUE TO COVID. FOR ALMOST 18 MONTHS I HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, COULDN'T TASTE OR SMELL ANYTHING AT ALL EXCEPT FOR A REALLY DISGUSTING FLAVOUR WITH ONIONS AND PEPPERS. IVE BEEN USING THIS DEVICE FOR 3 1/2 MONTHS NOW. IM NOT SURE AS TO WHEN I CAN STOP USING IT, IM WORRIED IF I DO STOP THAT I WILL LOSE MY SENSES AGAIN. WHEN I FORGOT TO TAKE MY CHARGER ON HOLIDAY WITH ME 2 WEEKS AFTER RECEIVING THE ARC4 AND THE CHARGE RAN OUT, ALL THE TASTE THAT HAD COME BACK DISAPPEARED AGAIN, SO I HAD TO RESTART THE PROGRAMME. LOVELY APPROACHABLE STAFF ON THE THE PHONE WHEN I CONTACTED THEM FOR ADVICE REGARDING TRYING TO BUY A NEW CHARGER ABROAD.....WHICH I COULDNT AS IT HAS AN ADAPTER WHICH WASNT AVAILABLE IN MADERIA, SO WHEN TRAVELLING MAKE SURE THE CHARGER IS ON YOUR PACKING LIST.

Great company, clearly well run by caring people

Their website and service were exemplary, delivery was as quick as they could make it and they were clear about the delays in production caused by increased demand. Communication was excellent.

The strap scratches the arm and is very uncomfortable, I contacted customer support and was told it was from a bad batch and replacing the strap wouldn’t solve the problem. Apparently there has been a number of similar complaints from customers. I would like to persist if I could have a better strap.

I have read your reply to my review and you admit that the strap is from a bad batch, does this mean you will send me a replacement from a new batch?

A product well worth trying

Although there was an initial problem with availability due to excessive demand, the family run business did exceptionally well to supply the item well in advance of their estimated delivery date. The Arc arrived well packaged with full instructions and information on re-ordering and accessories. It is early days yet re the effectiveness of the Arc but it has certainly reduced my back pain on P3.
Re-ordering pads for the strap was simple and delivery was swift and efficient.
Would certainly recommend the product and the business.

Life changing little gadget

I have been using the Arc machine for 8 weeks to help with severe pain which developed after Radiotherapy treatment for Breast Cancer. The pain became severe enough to incapacitate me.
I want to really shout about this machine as after 8 weeks the pain has reduced so that I can now function day to day. I’m really hoping with continual use it will go altogether.
I’m absolutely impressed by this little gadget. Life changing.

12yr old with PANS/PANDAS

We bought the Arc to help my 12year old daughter who is 2years into recovering from PANS/PANDAS. We are supporting her through the medical and alternative route. Since wearing the Arc, she has slowly improved. The biggest piece of evidence we have is that she wants to put in on each day. In her words, 'I don't know how it makes me feel, but it makes me feel better.' We use it consistently on her, each day. I really notice the difference when she is highly stressed out by the amount of homework she has and is feeling overwelmed by what she has to do. The Arc is almost like a defuser, it calms her/her system down and she is able to function. It has helped with sleep, healing and therefore the other symptoms of OCD, anxiety, depression, leg trembling, focus, memory and more. We/she love it and continue to use to daily to get her to 100%.

Cautiously optimistic! Although the Arc was out of stock when…

Although the Arc was out of stock when I wanted to purchase, I was prepared to wait, and the team there were very helpful and kept me updated regularly. I initially bought to help with my arthritis, but my husband needed a second knee replacement just before Christmas, so he has had first use of it. He had had a lot of pain and inflammation with his first replacement, so was wary about having a second. I persuaded him to give the Arc a try - which I feel he found pretty easy to use. Obviously he still had pain and swelling, but his surgeon and physiotherapist have both commented how quickly his knee has recovered - which it has! Unfortunately he also suffered nerve damage after the op, which is still causing him problems, so I am trying to encourage him keep using the Arc, which I feel would help. Early days yet, but hopefully I can get him to persevere with it and fingers crossed it helps. Maybe then I can get to give it a go myself!

Been using 5 months

I purchased this about five months ago. I have no connection to the company. As per instructions I followed the increase power protocols for the first weeks and thereafter I use setting 4. At first I didn't notice any difference but by the second week of setting 3 I noticed I was sleeping better and my hair was thicker at the roots which I wasn't expecting. Five months on my hair is nearly back to my pre hypothyroid problems thickness which was a nice surprise. I had Epstein Barr Virus in 2016 which has left me with increase in inflammation and pain in knees, back of legs and ankles. I have positive test result for genetic marker making me prone to inflammation. In the morning I was walking down stairs one step at a time now I just walk down stairs normally. I still get twinges in my right knee occasionally but the rest is pain free. I must in fairness mention that I have a deep tissue massage every three weeks and although it helped it didnt cure. since starting with Arc4health my therapist remarked at the four month point that by the time I returned three weeks later for next session my muscle were much looser than when I would return before. She didnt know I was using arc product. I agree with the complaint about the stupid strap closing design. Arc4health confirmed i could just switch it from arm to arm as it was impossible to have it stay on the legs plus who wants to look like they have a Police monitor on their leg. After four months the sticky bit didnt work so I replaced it with velcro very easily and now its snug and doesnt move. For what it costs switching out the sticky for velcro is something the manufacturer needs to do.

Great machine and terrific customer service

Absolutely fantastic customer service - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and really fast replies. The device was delivered faster than expected and, although I'm only three weeks into the first six week cycle, there is a huge improvement in my torn hip tendon and pain from arthritis in my knee and ankle has reduced. Currently skiing and ski touring and managing better than expected. I think this is going to be a really good answer to my health issues. Also, really easy to set up and use.

Arc health has worked for me

This machine has changed my health for the better. It's has improved my long COVID symptoms, joint pain and muscle aches. I also feel like my brain fog symptoms have improved since using the product.

I have marked improvement in mobility, hand strength and overall energy since using the product.

My previously abnormal inflammatory markers, though still raised have come down since using the product and I am hopeful for the next follow up blood test.

Customer service is excellent, with knowledgeable, friendly contact when appropriate.

The strap for the product was a bit snug for me, as a plus size person but still usable.

Easy to use as per instructions.

I would recommend this product.

This company is brilliant!

This company is brilliant. They kept in touch during initial delays due to demand and the device has brought much relief. It’s easy to use and brings results. I suffer from nerve damage after an operation and crps which is very painful and this has helped alleviate a lot of the symptoms.
