In de uitnodiging om mijn aankoop af te halen stond:
U hoeft geen afspraak te maken voor de ophaling van uw bestelling.
Wij zijn DOORLOPEND geopend van maandag tot donderdag van 09.00u tot 17.00u en op vrijdag van 09.00u tot 13.00u.

Ik kom er gisteren toe rond 12:30 h en er is NIEMAND in de wachtzaal!

In de achtergrond hoor ik twee vrouwelijke bediendes met elkaar over koetjes en kalfjes kletsen en ik maar wachten. Pas een kwartier later werd ik dan toch maar opgeroepen omdat er intussen ook nog drie andere klanten bijgekomen waren. Ik in mijn eentje was klaarblijkelijk niet de moeite om te stoppen met kakelen.

Oorspronkelijk gaf ik een 4 sterren review nadat ik al enkele keren per online bij hen gekocht had, maar deze ervaring heeft alles teniet gedaan.

Als dat service à la Argentor moet zijn dan geef me maar Robert den Expert in de Diamondhouse. Daar weet je tenminste waar je aan toe bent als je op je afspraak wacht.

Wil je goud kopen of verkopen? Ik doe dat altijd via dit vertrouwde adres in Antwerpen. Kopen met een koerier van hun, die het netjes levert of verkopen, daar aan de balie. Eerlijke prijzen/ weinig commissie . Niks mis mee.

This vendor conducts their business in a breach of the law.

Following an internet purchase:
1. They requested to send them a copy of my ID but refused to provide the basic information required by the data protection laws (such as legal basis of the request, for how long the IDs will be stored, where etc.)

2. They included in their terms and conditions that cancelling transactions is not possible and the money paid at purchase will be used to cover administrative costs. This is in a direct breach the right to cool-off and cancel internet purchases within 14 days.

On top, they are rude (a client asking for respect of their rights is dragging them into "futile discussions" and "wasting their time"), permit themselves long silence periods and do not answer emails, and then speak as if meeting the basic standards of internet transactions and respecting laws is a favor to a client.

In this line of business and with this level of transaction value, the impeccable client service, responsibility and respect for the Belgian law are a must.

Do not take a risk with this vendor, there is plenty of other providers of such goods on the market. Who knows what else they put in their "terms and conditions"?

Luckily, at the end of the day, they did refund my money. Otherwise I'd be talking to the police and lawyers.

Regardless, this is the worst internet transaction I have had in my life and I have wasted plenty of energy and time. I am writing this to warn others. Don't shop here.
