We’ve been members of ARLA for many years and have always valued their support. However, we were particularly impressed by how insightful, helpful, and informative Darren’s recent visit and audit were.

He thoroughly reviewed all the areas we should be adhering to, offering clear, practical advice on the steps we could take. He even went above and beyond by helping to draft documents and posters.

Darren was polite, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the reasoning behind each point, and nothing was too much trouble.

Audit with Darren Kitchenside

I am writing to share my positive experience working with Darren during the recent audit. I was initially quite anxious about the process, but Darren made the experience both calm and highly informative.

He provided eye-opening insights and explained everything clearly. Furthermore, he followed up our meeting with numerous helpful resources and additional information.

Receiving an email in the beginning of the summer that an audit was to be conducted at the end of the summer left me extremely stressed the entire summer period.
As a small business I have always tried to engage in as many online courses, keep my files up to date and business compliant because my service and reputation means everything to me.
Having had my audit last week with Darren, I quickly noticed that I wasted my summer worrying and that his guidance, suggestions, knowledge combined with his super friendly and professional manner was so helpful and insightful for all Estate Agency business regardless if you have just started your business or going through changing times like now.
I would have specially liked to have him audit my business in the beginning when I set it up cause it would have helped me not having to chase a million sites and links of what to do and not do.

Darren Kitchenside was a pleasure to meet, he was so approachable and made everything seem so easy and uncomplicated, i was expecting a heavy afternoon, but after sitting with him i can say it was such a pleasant experience and look forward to having an audit with Darren again.

When my company received the ARLA compliance review notification, I have to admit I was anxious - as a new business owner I was worried it felt like a penalty and a hinderance instead of assistance.

But I couldn't have been more wrong - Darren was attentive, personable - and really got to understand my business and made key points and gave a lot of information/templates which have helped me position my company on better footings!

Our Propertymark Compliance review with Matt Eades was excellent. In a positive way he identified a number of minor issues which required changes and advised on what was required. Its very reassuring to know that we are fully compliant over a very large part of our business.

The propertymark Facebook group is a great way to keep up to date with new regulations and get advice and guidance from property market professionals. Darren is next level and always so helpful and going the extra mile to help people.

As a small, specialist letting and property management agency, the advice and support we receive from ARLA/Property Mark has been brilliant and above all expectations! The legal helpline have advised me a couple of times with specific queries, Darren Kitchenside has today emailed me with guidance and information regarding financial sanctions reporting obligations - above and beyond all expectations of membership. I'm also a RICS member, and the company is RICS regulated - I decided to join ARLA as RICS provide absolutely no support and guidance to us as members.

I would highly recommend the Propertymark Members Facebook page. Lots of really useful Q&As (no question is too daft) and a space where members can share their day to day experiences. The PM team are really responsive too eg Darren Kitchenside picked up on a question about the upcoming Sanctions and then shared further information to individuals via email when requested :)

I just wanted to document the amazing service we have received from Darren. I commented on a Facebook post, which Darren also commented on and offered to sent some information/guidance to me. Well firstly I didn't expect him to sent it on a Saturday afternoon. He had obviously spend time looking at my online presence and sent me a very detailed and extremely informative email.
