While I waited for delivery of a shirt I ordered I was offered discounts and credits in cheerful emails from customer support. When the item arrived it was so small as to be unwearable. Radio silence when I asked for help.

I ordered two shirts, received two shirts, but was charged for three shirts. My order was for shirts sized 2XL because I am 6'2" and hefty. The shirts I received were only L, the 2XL being a CNA size, not a USA size. Of course, they were much too small for me. Looking for redress on their website was a deep rabbit hole of frustration, to say the least, bearing no result.

Clicked on an over-shirt ad on Facebook for "Arlo & Vienne LA". Went to their website which looks very polished. Looking at the product listing, every size of the shirt – from "M" to "5XL" was listed at the exact same price. Highly unusual. Then realized that no matter what size you selected, there were always only "4 pieces left."

Used the Hive AI image detector; all model images I tested are AI generated.

Note that the name of the company is spelled differently from the domain name… and a Google search yields no relevant results for "Arlo & Vienne" except the website and their FB page.

The site also claims the company is an up-and-coming brand since 2005, but the domain was registered in February of 2026.

Lastly, a search of the TrustPilot site brings up scam reports for a fake "Arlo & Joy" site. And they have several TrustPilot reviews displayed on the site, but no link to TrustPilot, and TrustPilot doesn't have any record of them.
