Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we are sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. As we have a wide age range, we have a wide choice of projects for students to pick from. All parents are welcome into the studio at pickup to view what everyone has done. We're always supporting students' choices and help students make the most of their decision; the jellyfish that your children created we thought were very accomplished. Initially they struggled with the outline (which is to do with proportions and perspective) so we worked hard with them to improve it. They also were learning how to use the brush; we could see they learnt and improved their painting skill in the class from where they started. No matter what stage children are at, we are always positive about the specific steps they learn because building children's confidence is a key part of our Ofsted registration.

We are Ofsted registered which means child safeguarding is our number 1 priority. We know and recorded for instance that it was not the parent but the children's grandparent that dropped them off and the same individual picked them up. Whilst we asked all guardians to come in and discuss what their children had created, they did not want to and simply picked up the children. We follow every discount supported by the government; by registering with Ofsted, we can accept childcare vouchers which reduces the price by 20% and for parents on UC, up to 85% off.

Thanks for taking the time to right a review!

It’s been a pleasure to welcome L at art-K this term! We absolutely loved her clay tile design and the house she built on top of it. The little doormat that says “home” is so sweet. We are looking forward to welcoming her back next term and developing her painting skills with an acrylic painting canvas.

Thank you for your review of the trial session. During the trial, we take care to help students focus to get the most out of the session, but if they walk around the studio despite our efforts, it’s an expression we respect that says they don’t want to engage with this art-skills programme. We're sorry this didn't work out for us this time, but we welcome everyone to a trial and we frequently find that children love art and the colourful and engaging projects we provide. Behaviour policy is published on home page.

It’s been a pleasure to teach O and see his art skills develop. We have enjoyed supporting his ideas and he has shown a talent with clay and sculpture. We loved his unique idea to sculpt extinct Belemnites and Ammonites for his clay board this summer holiday! It gave us some ideas for new projects and it is always special when a student inspires us. We look forward to teaching O next term and seeing what he makes next!

It's been really exciting to see the care and attention to detail that S takes when approaching her projects. She has made beautiful, quality work and has shown that she is always willing to challenge herself with technical approaches. We were so pleased when she enrolled for the term and are looking forward to seeing what lizard sculpture resolved.

A is a pleasure to teach and it's been so exciting to see her art skills improve over the last few months. We have recently made her projects a bit more difficult and she has risen to the challenge! We were also very proud of her paper mache frying pan and pancakes with strawberries and cream.

Thank you for your lovely review of our holiday workshops which run from 10-3am throughout the holidays. We offer a range of projects at every workshop and it's great to hear you found one that you felt was creative and appropriate. Don't forget you can use child care vouchers for these workshops (and our term time classes).
