So lucky to have Art-K in Sheffield!
We absolutely adore Art-K Sheffield! My son has been taking classes for a year now and we recently had his 8th birthday party at Art-K as well. The party teachers were fantastic and the flow of the class was really fun. The children left the party incredibly proud of their masterpieces and the birthday boy loved it too!

Absolutely amazing Sheffield branch
My daughter has attended 6 classes in the summer holidays at art K in Sheffield and she has LOVED them.
Her teacher has gone above and beyond to help her grow and learn different techniques. She cannot wait to come back for more. Can’t recommend this place enough.

My daughter attends these classes and thoroughly enjoys it. She's been going for several terms now and Gio is extremely patient and supportive. We are seeing a direct correlation in her ability to apply techniques at school too, which is great for her.

A wonderful, supportive environment for children
My son absolutely loves attending art-K Sheffield. It has become one of the highlights of his week and somewhere he genuinely feels comfortable, happy and able to be himself.
The teachers are patient, kind and incredibly encouraging. They create such a calm and welcoming environment where children can build confidence and develop their creativity without pressure. My son can sometimes struggle in busy social environments, but at art-K he feels accepted and understood, which means so much to us as parents.
We are so grateful for everything the team does and would highly recommend art-K Sheffield to other families.

We know that trying something new can feel challenging for a child, and trial sessions can naturally bring up questions and emotions as they explore whether a programme feels right for them.
During the session, your child was introduced to our approach, which focuses on learning through observation, mirroring and technique rather than reproducing a finished image. In many ways, it’s similar to learning music, much like a musician practices scales before becoming a great jazz artist, developing strong foundations is what gives children the confidence and freedom to express themselves creatively later on. For some children this process feels exciting and empowering; for others, it can feel unfamiliar, and that’s an important part of discovering whether the approach is the right fit.
We would normally welcome a conversation at the end of a trial to talk through how the session felt and to explain our methodology in more depth. However we weren’t able to have that conversation on this occasion, we did follow up afterwards by calling you on the phone to check in and reflect together, and it was agreed that the programme may not have been what your child was looking for right now.
Our trial sessions are designed precisely for this reason, to help families make informed decisions about whether how we teach fits with what they want in a supportive, low‑pressure way.
