My broker Richard Chapman, was very helpful and patient to arrange a Reverse Mortgage for me, mainly to pay out a house mortgage with one of the big four banks, which I thought was a Reverse Mortgage, but it wasn't and could have lost my home; and suggested I have a larger mortgage to enable me to have more or needed 'spending money'
Although I would say I am computer literate I had a great deal of trouble filling in required forms correctly and Richard had the patience to help me through these steps. I am certainly happy with the experience I had and would recommend Seniors 1st and Richard
chapman as a broker for Reverse Mortgage applications.

From initial contact with Lisa we have been very comfortable with the process! Lisa had been extremely helpful & informative & has made a big
decision very easy!

In early stages of borrowing additional funds. Contact from ASAG prompt and courteous. Process was explained clearly to us and was commenced quickly.

Jane has been very helpful and forthright with her advice . Her phone manners are impeccable.

I am a senior and was looking for a reverse mortgage loan, being of my age it proved very difficult until I came across ASAG, I filled out some forms and then in a very short time received a phone call from a very pleasant and helpful young woman( Jane ) who explained to me how much I could borrow and the entire process from the valuation through to the finalization, Jane explained how this would proceed step by step in simple terms so I could understand, this whole experience was very pleasant and helpful, I look forward to being advised by Jane going forward.

I required much needed funds for personal reason, but at my age and the fact i was on a pension made it hard to be able to qualified for bank loans, when a friend mentioned ASAG. so got in contact with Gavin by email, then talked over the phone he explain how it all works, Gavin helped me step by step and i cannot thank him highly enough. After the acceptance i had several contacts with Gavin and he and still keeps in touch, Very sincere person. I am more than happy to recommend ASAG on the basis of how we were treated and the ease of the transaction.

It's nice to deal with a company that treats you as a valued customer, and not as a number, like the banks!

ASAG's Staff (Jaypee, Claim, and Product General Manager Gavin, were always there to assist in anything I didn't understand, and guide me through the paperwork.

I have to admit I was very apprehensive when I first started to look at a Reverse Mortgage, and the decision on who to go with was extremely difficult, but ASAG's attention to detail, and communication, helped make this experience so much easier, and gave me the confidence that ASAG was the right choice.

Just a little straight forward message for those who are considering a 'Reverse Mortgage' for what ever reason your life moment requires this direction and this very large decision.
I'm 63 and the single owner of a fair amount of property in assets $$$ with a manageable debit. I looked very closely into the option of a RV and in my opinion for my situation & with no dependents, this is a great way to 'Live' life to the fullest and the undertaker can sort out the bills when I'm good and gone !!!
I contacted another company prior to ASAG who did not reply to my inquiry at all even after my e-mails and phone calls, strange as they will eventually be making a good profit out of me in time.
ASAG have a very handy calculator on there website and their interest rate, if you choose to repay the loan prior to death or sale of the property is more reasonable than other companies at the standard commercial rate.
I was contacted by Paul the very next day after entering some simple information into the ASAG website options page & we had a long and insightful chat. He then arrange Gavin to send through further detailed information to read and to have my legal guy go over.
Every time I had a question by phone or e-mail, Gavin was straight onto helping me through it and making sure I understood all that it meant. Team ASAG are truly the best in the business and I would not feel safe or comfortable with anyone else.
I do have to say that after looking more closely at my own person situation and income from my rental properties, I earn at this point enough to be very comfortable for a few more years though I will be knocking on the ASAG door at some point in the future and I know they will be happy to look after me as they already have.
Please do your personal homework before entering into any mortgage from any company and DON'T be pressured by anyone including family to take out a RV for their benefit and not for your benefit. Remember, YOU worked hard to be where you are, don't let anyone take that from you.

Very good customer service and very polite and friendly service.

Further to my promise to update our 16 Aug.review,I must addthat our loan agreement has been slowed further .We thought all I/d info was completed,but we now advised we need paasport and info from my wifes divorce 40 years ago-this is too hard to detail. We have been married 36 years,and provided Marriage cert etc. At this time we are in doubt if we will proceed with loan,as this is becoming too stressfull GREG

Although there were lots of paper work , ASAG made the journey enjoyable. Great people, I would advise anyone thinking of a reverse mortgage to use Australian Seniors Advisory Group.

I found ASAG to be helpful in our Loan Application and
now we have the Loan i have been able to buy a new car and do renovations to our home without it this would not be possible

My first contact with AASG was Gavin LUKA a more friendly and courteous person I am yet to meet.
Gavin is a young chap with the skills of knowing his product. I am one of those people that at 75 thought that a reverse mortgage was something you secured when you felt things were coming to an end, not so.
The opportunity to use some of the capitol you have built is a perfect solution to basically enjoying your later years with the knowledge you are still the owner of the realestate you worked so hard for, in similar words, have your cake and eat it too.
Gavin keeps in touch, making sure we are well and happy with AASG.

Absolutely seamless my experience with ASAG.
Paul Hewitt and Gavin Luka are so professional and nothing was too difficult to do for me. My only stress was sorting my documents as l had just relocated to my current home.
It was awesome to be able to plan renovations without worrying about debt. The monies came through as l required it and l could plan around that. My admiration for the company and staff are 6star as they put your needs first.
It is strongly encouraged to engage your lawyer and finance advisor for your own peace of mind. This definitely put my mind at ease.
So if your thinking about doing this - go for it!
