Ashlea Baker Swimwear is an independent, female-owned British women's swimwear brand specialising in handmade bikinis, swimsuits and bikini separates. Every piece of handmade swimwear is designed, cut and sewn by Ashlea herself in her London sewing studio, in small batches, for women worldwide who value quality craftsmanship, original design and sustainable fashion made with purpose rather than excess. Ashlea Baker Swimwear is known for unique printed bikinis and thoughtful finishing touches. Bestsellers include the Picante chilli print bikini, as featured in the Daily Mail, alongside the Lemon, Cherry and Lobster print bikinis, many finished with a signature charm at the centre of the bikini top. Styles include classic and ruffle triangle bikini tops, Brazilian bikini bottoms, tie-side bikini bottoms and one-piece swimsuits. Every bikini is fully lined and double layered with high-quality four-way stretch swim fabric to prevent transparency when wet, with elasticated seams that help the swimwear hold its shape summer after summer. As a slow fashion, sustainable swimwear brand based in the UK, recycled and eco-conscious fabrics are used wherever possible, including eco-printed British fabrics printed in London without the use of water. Fabric offcuts are repurposed or recycled, and all packaging is free from single-use plastic. With body-positive values at its core, the brand exists to help women feel comfortable, confident and empowered in their swimwear. Sizes run from XS to 2XL, with a size guide covering UK, US, EU and AUS/NZ sizing, detailed fit notes on every product page and personal sizing advice available directly from Ashlea. Each design is handmade in limited quantities, making every piece a little more special. British made swimwear, shipped worldwide from the UK. Shop the full collection at ashleabakerswimwear.com.

Hey Brandi! Thanks for your lovely review, super pleased you found the ordering process easy and you love your new bikini :)
Listen, DO ITTT!! Customer service was amazing, email questions were answered in a VERY timely manner, and the site is unbelievably easy to use. Don't forget to look at the UK-US sizing, though. I nearly ordered the wrong size. Again, email was so helpful in this situation. The bikini came so quickly and is like wearing butter!!! As a girl in NM, the picante suit was my first pick, but cannot wait to order more!!! Thank you Ashlea Baker!!

Jessica this is a lovely review, thank you so much! Iâm really pleased to hear you love your bikini and the service you received.
The note about sizing is also super helpful, itâs little things like that which help me improve. I will be keeping that in mind and working on making the international sizing clearer for my customers.
I hope you feel amazing rocking your Picante Bikini this summer in New Mexico and beyond!
Love, Ashlea x
I have now purchased the lemon and lobster bikinis. The designs are so unique and cute, and both the outer fabric & lining feel high quality.
I have a larger bust and sized up for the the tops. They have good coverage and fit very nicely. Overall, very happy with my purchases!

The bikinis I ordered for my trip to Mexico are amazing. Itâs so nice to not have to think about how a bikini top is fitting on my larger bust. I also went scuba diving in them and didnât have to think about it.

Hey Monique, thanks so much for your lovely review! Itâs really helpful to receive feedback with regards to sizing, too. I hope you had an amazing time in Mexico, itâs one of my favourite places to visit! Hope you love wearing your bikinis for many summers to come x

Iâm so pleased I found this store. The bikinis are beautiful and very high quality, but it was Ashleaâs customer service that really made the experience for me. She was very responsive and so helpful when I contacted her asking about sizing. She really went above and beyond and even organised special delivery to make sure my bikinis were with me in time for my holiday. I have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely be buying again! Thank you!

First of all, Ashlea is wonderful to deal with. Great customer service!! I need a custom bikini bottom made quite quickly before I go abroad and she is doing all she can to get it done and shipped in time with express delivery. I cannot thank you enough! The quality of the bikini is 10/10 and it makes my top half look banging. Thank you. :)

Ahh Emily this is a really lovely review - Thank you for taking the time to post it :)
Very pleased your happy with the service you have received so far, and so glad you love your Picante Bikini Top.
I will absolutely be doing everything possible to get your Custom High Waist Picante Bikini Bottom to you before your holiday!
Beautiful bathing suit and very high quality. However, the fit was not great if you are very busty like me. The measurements listed for the product are not accurate. The exchange process is not customer friendly if you live in another country. Too much effort and not worth the trouble for another potentially ill fitting suit. A very expensive lesson for me, unfortunately. Would not recommend.

Hey Emily, thank you for your feedback. I'm pleased to hear you're happy with the quality and design of the swimsuit you ordered.
Iâm really sorry to hear that your experience didnât meet expectations. My full exchange policy is available on every product page, as well as its own dedicated section on the website. I emailed over all of the exchange information to you directly, including timelines as you are a US based customer and reserved the exchange stock you requested. I have just sent you another email to follow up in regards to your exchange request as I have not yet received a response from you.
I've sold many of my designs to women up to a UK size 24, which I have received glowing reviews for, so I apologise that you feel the fit on the particular item you ordered wasn't quite right. If you are happy to send over some more detailed information on the sizing issues you experienced, please do let me know by replying to my email.
That being said, I'm grateful for your comments and constructive feedback is always welcomed. Wishing you a wonderful rest of your summer!

Hey Maisy! Iâm so pleased you love your swimsuit. I made this one off piece for fun as I knew it would look amazing and Iâm so glad you took it home from the Spitalfields pop-up and love it as much as I do. It looked perfect on you :)
Love that you can buy tops and bottoms separately so you get your perfect size. Recently wore the Tan ZigZag bikini in Greece and it was so comfy, materials dried quickly and still looked brand new after loads of wear in the sea/pool. Itâs difficult to find good quality bikinis nowadays but will definitely be buying more from Ashlea Baker
