Kris and Fran did a lovely job replacing my gas hob with a new electric induction hob. I had previously had the gas supply capped off. They were able to cut the work surface to the new required size, fit the electric hob and sort out the red switch / fuse box for the new appliance. I am pleased with the good work they have done, many thanks

My Ohme EV charger was installed today by Shaun. His workmanship is extremely neat and tidy. The whole process from obtaining a quote to installation was professional, great communication and very polite. Would definitely use this company again.

I recently had an EV charger installed at my home, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The installer was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient.

Freddie explained everything clearly, made sure the setup was safe and up to code, and the final result looks clean and well-done.

The work was completed on time, with great attention to detail, and they left the area spotless afterward. I’m very happy with the installation and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing an EV charger or electrical work.

The process from sale to completion was simple. Pleasant sales man at the call centre helped me chose the right solution and in fact had called me before I even closed the web page of my enquiry.

Flexible on date and able to fit within a few days.

I was keen to use a company that services the local area rather than a big national and they didn’t disappoint.

Really pleasant and professional installer. Despite an issue with the courier delivering my unit, they went out of their way to get it to me and the installer did all the prep work whilst on site before the box would arrive so as not to waste any time or rebook me. And then came back first thing the next day to fit the box once it has arrived.

Neat job with the wiring and quality switches etc.

Installer was friendly professional and well turned out.

Fitting of cabling and charger was overall very neat and they were easy to book and engineers friendly. BUT firstly: a warning about hidden cost - although they make it clear that you will pay for "extra" materials on top of quote, I believed my quote should have accounted for the standard materials that would obviously be needed. There was NO indication of how much those materials would be despite them knowing almost exactly what they would need for thus job and I was surprised by it running into the hundreds for 10m of cabling, which is automatically taken from your card at the end. The invoice sent to me was also wrong and had to chase a correct one for an accurate breakdown of what exactly I'd paid for. Secondly: Let down by the engineer who didn't have the right tools for fitting ethernet (the one reason I got the Hypervolt charger). Repeated calls and chasing of engineer for 2weeks for fitting of a tiny part, the most annoying for me was the engineer telling me that it was annoying for HIM to have to come all the way back for a tiny part despite me wasting MANY hours waiting for him following empty promises that he would come over. Each time I rang the company, although seemingly nice and somewhat apologetic I was often given the impression that I was the one at fault (phrases such as 'you should have rung us and not the engineer to chase ' and it's not your fault, but...' I was also told the engineer was having a hard time under pressure and going to a funeral that week - not very professional to divulge that; one can only assume that was intended to guilt trip). Bearing in mind it was the engineer who asked me to call him to follow up, and each time he would convince me he would come later that day, so it did drag on some time. Finally got another engineer who also didn't fix the ethernet but thought he had (it was joined up messily inside the meter too). Ended up getting IT boyfriend to fix that part as this company clearly doesn't understand networks and I had no faith in them fixing this element, by this time 3 weeks later (put it this way, engineers had never fitted this model before by their own admission, and we had a disagreement over there being no such thing as 'wired WiFi' as he was adamant there was, so that wasn't a good indicator!).
So would advise if you're using them for a regular charger like pod or ohme and purely electrical non IT fittings it'll probably be good as long as you're aware of hidden costs, but if you're after Hypervolt or ethernet wiring stay clear, it would be cheaper and easier to get Hypervolt to fit that.

Engineer on time, professional and courteous, sorted problem without any fuss

Sean came over promptly to help me with some wiring. He was professional, polite & very knowledgeable. The work was carried out to a high standard. Would absolutely recommend Assured Electricians & especially Sean. Very impressed.

My first contact was with Ryan from the office. He was really helpful. He made me a booking, that was really quick.
The electrician Jack arrived on time and he got started straight away. He’s done an excellent job. I will definitely use Assured Electrical Solutions again. I can highly recommend this company.

Found this company online doing some research. Very easy process on getting everything quoted, arranged and booked in. On the day had the engineer Jack, it wasn't exactly a standard installation as the mains runs from the middle of the house rather than just been outside on the wall, but he persevered and managed to get a great job done in the end so couldn't be happier with everything.
