This is a scam. They don't deliver the products.

I waited a month to post hoping Ashton Wright (William Ashton Wright) would refund myself and the many customers he had scammed.

In March, I made an almost $1200 purchase with Ashton's company Astra Labs Research. I was convinced he was legit due to other customers stating they received their purchases in a timely manner from him, and due to the fact that he is a USA based company. His warehouses are located in Alabaster, AL, but he may also have one in Newark, DE (according to his website). Supposedly, he was working with someone in Texas as well, but he may have used that person as a scapegoat or as a scam line to explain why he couldn't fulfill orders in a timely manner.

After I sent payment, he kept promising to send me a tracking number and that he would mail out my order. Eventually, he just went silent on me about 10 days from the time of purchase. The last time I heard from him on 3/30/2026, he had written that he'd send out people's orders or refund them. Neither has happened since that promise.

Others and myself have reached to him through email, text, chat windows, phone calls. He has since unenrolled his number ((205)xxx-1662) from Zelle (and maybe including CashApp) after stealing people's money under the pretense of receiving his research products. I question if he was even selling what he was advertising to some of those who received anything at all. Apparently, one of his customers made a purchase for one thing and received a different lower costing product.

I hope this review can stop Ashton from further swindling people. His ads still run on social media, but there are others trying to warn others to not do business with this company.

Also, two of the positive reviews here were written by him and probably a relative by the same last name.

BELIEVE the negative reviews. I'm not a competing business trying to bash Ashton/Astra Labs for the sake of taking out the competition. This guy is just bad news and doesn't give a flying f*** about who he has screwed.

This company took money and never delivered the product. Eventually quit communicating totally. Do not buy from them under any circumstances! An entire group has had the same experience. VERY BAD NEWS!

Ashton Wright the owner of the company will present himself as someone trustworthy to gain your business. Once you place an order communication will stop. He WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY. Do not send him any money.

Guys a scammer, takes your money and sells low MG doses and pretends they are higher grade. Guys a fraud!

This is a scam company who will steal your money. They will take your payment and then never send you your products. And if they do send you product it will be fake bad product. Don’t just take my word for it, I got receipts and test results to prove it. The person who wrote a positive review for this company is a family member with the same last name as the person who you will send payment to which is William Wright. And Ashton Wright is the guy who runs this company and left a positive review on his own business. Do not do business with this company. Got scammed out of $1100

Astra does a good job presenting a professional setup and building trust, which is why I felt comfortable moving forward. That hasn’t been my experience. I paid $1,350 and it’s now been 3 weeks with no product delivered.

Since payment, there were ongoing delays and repeated promises that weren’t followed through. Communication has now stopped, and my messages are no longer being answered.

I also sent a Zelle request in an attempt to resolve the situation, which he denied. The payment methods options he takes has no way to recover funds.

Beware of this scammer. Protect yourself.

Had used this lab 3 prior times, no issues great and swift service. This last order placed on 4APR26, received an email stating the order was being processed immediately. Then nothing, no tracking number, nothing. No response from the orders or customer service department. I called the number given for the address listed and the female that answered was very nervous in telling me that they are a clinic and not some sort of lab.
Very disappointing

It's been 2 weeks, my shipping label has been printed and has not been dropped at the post office. I think this is a scam. No response to multiple emails.

As far as research companies, these people are above what I’ve been use to. The customer service knowledge far exceeds the competition. Everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. They’ve got a new customer!

Their customer service was very responsive and reliable. They answered any questions I had without delay. The product is top quality and the packaging is excellent. Delivery was also on time and flawless. I’m extremely happy I found this company.
