I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Atlas Travelling Agency, particularly from Ayoub.

When I booked my holiday earlier this year, I was assured that Ayoub would monitor the price each month and, if it dropped, it would be matched. This promise gave me confidence to book with the agency.

However, when I was contacted last week to make my final payment, I noticed that the holiday price had dropped by several hundred pounds. I was initially told that the price had not dropped, despite this clearly not being the case. I have since provided screenshots as evidence, yet the issue still has not been resolved.

To make matters worse, I have called numerous times and have repeatedly been promised a call back by Ayoub, but he has failed to return any of my calls. The lack of communication and failure to honour what was promised has been extremely frustrating.

I expected much better customer service, especially after being given assurances at the time of booking. Unfortunately, my experience has been one of poor communication, broken promises, and a complete lack of follow-up. I hope Atlas Travelling Agency takes this complaint seriously and resolves the matter promptly.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this travel agency deserves to be shared.

We booked and paid for a package holiday on 25 February 2026 but cancelled in early March due to the conflict in the Middle East. While I understand this was an exceptional situation affecting many travellers, it still took almost four months to receive our full refund. The first payment was not received until 16 June, with the remaining balance arriving on 25 June.

What frustrated me most was not just the delay, but the poor communication throughout.

During several conversations, a member of the Admin team told us they had spoken directly with a representative from Jumeirah and that the hotel was being difficult and refusing to issue a refund for our two-night stay. This turned out not to be the case. When we contacted Jumeirah ourselves, they confirmed our refund had already been processed to the supplier shortly after we cancelled our booking. That completely contradicted what we had been told.

When I raised this as part of my formal complaint, the agency responded that they were simply passing on information from their supplier and that there were no internal errors. However, as the professional travel company I booked and paid, I expected accurate information and someone to take ownership of the situation. Instead, I was left chasing updates and trying to establish the facts myself.

What I also find difficult to understand is that, once I challenged the information about the Jumeirah refund, the agency was able to refund that part of the booking before receiving the funds from their supplier. If that was possible then, why was it not done weeks or months earlier?

The agency describes itself as providing "good value, quality holidays alongside excellent customer service." Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The refund took nearly four months, the information we received repeatedly proved to be inconsistent with what the hotel told us directly, and even after submitting a formal complaint, the agency refused to accept any responsibility for how our case was handled.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this travel agency. If customer service, transparency and accountability matter to you, I would think carefully before booking.

Abdul Rasheed was also very informative in providing guidance as to best and ideal places to stay with my family and child and as to what would be good and suitable, enjoyable too!

Honestly, an amazing travel agency, Abdul Rashid is my travel agent and he genuinely makes my life so much easier, he gives honest advice and always puts me first. He does everything to make sure my holiday goes smoothly and I never have to stress about anything whilst I’m abroad. What I expected to be a long and stressful booking experience turned into a smooth and effortless one, and as a result, we had an amazing holiday.

He was always happy to answer our questions and never made us feel uncomfortable for asking, responding with patience and genuine kindness every time.

Umar…. I am a regular customer. I go to all the big travel companies first. But the best service has always been Atlas. This week I’ve been trying to book a trip to Venice. umar was brilliant. He was patient and helped me find a hotel central. There was no pressure to book with him. Outstanding service

Really good customer service, always making the booking process so easy, booked 3 holidays with them and always sorted out any problems. I had a flight which was cancelled by airline and they sorted it out for me without any problems. Abdul Rashid goes above and beyond and Alhumdulillah makes everything so simple.

Ayoub is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to understand exactly what we’re looking for, which means the hotels and destinations he recommends are consistently outstanding.

What really sets him apart is the level of care and support he provides before, during, and after our trips. On the rare occasions we’ve needed to contact him while abroad, he’s responded quickly and handled everything efficiently and professionally, giving us complete peace of mind.

We genuinely wouldn’t book with anyone else. Ayoub makes the whole process stress-free and enjoyable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Atlas Travel to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality travel service.
