We were unable to locate an account linked to this review in our user records. Publishing a 1-star rating based on aggregated third-party opinions, without any specific details about your own experience, is not something we can respond to in good faith.
Every user's situation is different. Broad generalizations simply do not reflect what our users actually go through or accomplish.
Building a full-featured SaaS product is genuinely hard work. What once required a team of five or more engineers over several months can now be done by one person, learning as they go, using natural language. That is the path Atoms is built to support. Many of our users came in with no technical background and left with a much stronger understanding of how to build software and use AI tools effectively.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We completely understand how frustrating it can be to hit a usage limit right when you're in the middle of building, that’s not the kind of interruption any creator wants.

To clarify how things currently work: Atoms operates on a subscription model, where your monthly credits are tied to your selected plan. Once those credits are used up, continuing requires upgrading your plan rather than purchasing additional credits separately. This is a result of how our monthly billing structure is designed. Within this framework, annual plans offer approximately 21% in savings compared to monthly billing, while one-off purchases are not part of the current model. Our pricing structure has been intentionally designed to support users at different stages and usage levels.

In terms of plan flexibility, upgrades only require paying the price difference. If your needs change, you can also downgrade at any time, and the lower-tier pricing will take effect in the next billing cycle rather than continuing at the higher rate. We believe this provides a reasonable balance between flexibility and cost control.

Additionally, we noticed that your review was updated. You mentioned that you were close to leaving a five-star rating, but initially reported a domain-related issue before later changing your feedback to focus on the subscription model. We had previously reached out to request more details regarding the domain issue in order to assist you further, but did not receive a response, and the review was instead updated. At this point, we’re not entirely clear on the context behind the change.

Regarding the Discord support: we want to clarify something. We believe the account you may be referring to joined the community, posted some messages, and then left before our team was online to respond. Our support team does monitor Discord and we do escalate issues to engineering, typically within 24 hours. That said, troubleshooting infrastructure issues does require some back-and-forth with the user to pinpoint what happened, and that process can't move forward if we're unable to reach you.

For any reported issue, the moment we hear back from the engineering team, we follow up immediately.
We've already sent you a request for more information through Trustpilot. If you're open to it, we'd genuinely like to understand which specific ticket or thread you feel went unaddressed, so we can look into it properly. Regarding the issue you mentioned about being pushed to publish, that’s definitely not how Atoms is designed to work, so there may have been a misunderstanding somewhere. We’d really appreciate the chance to look into this with you and clarify what happened.

As for API connections, they can involve some specific setup depending on the feature you’re using. I’d be happy to walk you through it directly and help make sure everything is configured properly.

For annual plans, credits are allocated monthly. If you’ve used up your credits for the current month, they’ll refresh next month. That said, you can also upgrade your plan at any time if you need a higher usage limit. Credit usage can vary depending on factors like context length and task complexity, switching to a more cost-efficient model in your settings can also help manage consumption.
