Purchase of gift voucher online

Been in the shop several times, however don’t stay local to St.Andrews but wanted to purchase a gift voucher for a birthday present. Online ordering was really easy and was sent an email attaching a paper voucher and two days later received a voucher card in the post

Sold, but not available.

I purchased from this store when I was in St Andrews, and purchased my wife a very nice golf dress, in the wrong size. So here I am, online, purchasing the golf dress in the correct size, only to be told a couple days after the purchase, that they cannot fulfill my order, ever.
