Kept telling me to reach out to my local postal office but the only tracking number I have is not recognized by my local postal office since it's a third party company. It's impossible for me to contact that third party company because it's all in Mandarin or Cantonese.

I purchased a used/second-hand Edifier NeoBuds Pro from AudioSpare because I really like this modelâs soundâpersonally, I even prefer its tuning over the NeoBuds Pro 3. My first pair developed a left-channel imbalance (muffled highs, weaker volume, off-center image). Support arranged a replacement, which initially sounded great. However, after a few days the earbuds performed an unexpected self-reset, and the sound degraded on both sidesâduller highs and reduced bass.
For context, I listen to FLAC (lossless) files from an iPhone, often at higher volumes. Under the same conditions, my NeoBuds Pro 3 still sound normal. That led me to believe the issue was likely related to wear/aging in this used unit or something triggered by the reset. I wasnât looking for a refundâjust wanted to share accurate feedback so they could tighten quality control on second-hand inventory.
AudioSpareâs customer service was excellent. After initially missing my first email, they owned the mistake, communicated clearly, and treated my case with respect. They then processed a full refund proactively, which I truly didnât expect, and even said they would pull the problematic item to prevent others from having the same experience. That level of transparency and responsibility is rare.
While my particular unit had issues, the way AudioSpare handled it earns five stars. They were sincere, fast, and fair throughoutâexactly what you hope for when buying from a company that stands behind its products. Iâm comfortable shopping with them again and will update this review if I purchase another pair or another product sound related.
Suggestion for used items: consider a longer burn-in/soak test, firmware/profile verification after resets. These small steps could prevent maybe failures like mine.
In short: great service, honest communication, and a customer-first attitude.
