I have used other publishing companies. The biggest issue with others is communication. As an author, I put alot of time in my research and have a vision of what I want. Authors Publishing acknowledges this and works on making my experience a simple and pleasurable experience. Their efforts into putting the best product out there goes unmatched. If you are searching for a reliable company to publish your book, I would highly recommend AuthorsPublishingHouse.com. I feel so lucky to have found them. I just got my first book published by them. I was very impressed with all the help they gave me throughout this process. Whenever I called them with a question, they usually responded within the hour. I was impressed with how dedicated they were to making sure everything was on track.
I had Brian Miller, the Senior Project Manager, as my personal adviser. We got to know each other personally. These guys are straight up con artists, who charges 2,000 dollars for an audio book? something AI can do for 25 bucks. When I called them out, they shut up and never continued to comment. If any so-called publisher charges high amounts like 2000 dollars run for the hills, they are straight out conning you.

From the start up to now, Ryan Martinez and Jeffery Young of Author Publishing house has been keenly interested in my new book "Harmony and Balance in living" and has made every effort to assist me during their professional editing. I was very unsure what publishing company I wanted to go for as I was looking to get my book published, because it was my first time trying to get a book published. I then came across Authors Publishing House, and they made me feel so at ease when working with them. They took their time to explain things to me that I did not understand, and worked with me to help me get my book published. Out of all of the Book Publishing companies that are out there, I am so glad that I chose Authors Publishing House, and you should too.

As a first-time author, it was very difficult to find and chose a publisher. After speaking to the sales rep at Authors Publishing House, they seemed to be a good choice, so I thought. From the very beginning, I grew suspect of their legitimacy, as once I paid my money, they started not to make any sense at all.

I submitted my manuscript for editing and after several weeks, I received a horrifying edited copy of my book that looked like a fourth grader did the editing. When I spoke to my primary contact, he informed me that I was not supposed to have received that copy, as it was just an internal document. From there, things went downhill. After months of back-and-forth editing, which I had to do mostly myself, the book went to press and I eagerly awaited my first copy. I was shocked at what I received. The placement of the table of contents was wrong, the dedication was at the end of the book, and the margins were atrocious. Perhaps it was naive for me to think that a book publishing house would know how a book is supposed to be set up. Live and learn.

It took months to get it right and to this day, the margins, gutter, are so bad you have to really split open the book to read the sentences in the middle of the book.

After "Downsizing Is Not For Cowards" was available, they started their sales pitch to market the book. Understand that it was always implied that the package I purchased included a marketing plan but for another five thousand dollars, they would get my book out there. I vehemently argued that the ROI on that investment was far too risky on an unknown author. They basically said trust me; you will make all of your money back and lots more. I figured I'd have to sell about a million copies to break even.

These people in my opinion, are unethical, deceitful and incompetent. My second book is close to being finished and I would never consider using them again. Author beware!

I really appreciate the guys who helped me, Alex, Scott, Jason, and Jay. They were all patient and kind. Even when I yelled about something that had frustrated me Jason never missed a patient note. The project went ok, I felt lost and confused sometimes, and did not feel that the illustrators really felt what was trying to portray most of the time. I had to reach out to a freelancer for the sock characters in my book because they just did not quite get it. They would add things like hats on the characters when I had not asked for that, and place things in scenes that clearly, if you read the manuscript, did not belong.

The first person I talked to was not very clear about what was included in the package, and I thought I had ask all the right questions and had received clarity, but at the end and after two of the people who had helped me were no longer with the company, it appeared I was not clear at all about what was included.

The book turned out ok, and it is the first. I am going to go with a different company for the sequels, though this experience gave me stress and anxiety.

I had a conversation with a male represented. My story was too much for him to handle. He first fell silent, and when he didn't respond, I hung up. When I phoned him back to explain why I needed their assistance to finish my abuse series and convey the story, he just hang up. You didn't want to publish a graphic tale with this company. The representatives don't want to talk about or hear about the efforts to increase awareness for victims of abuse and criminality, and they can't bear the reality. They have failed in a humiliating way.
