I was in Istanbul looking for a clinic with a good price-performance ratio. I visited two private clinics first, but the prices they quoted were absolutely insane! I didn't even bother negotiating; you wouldn't believe how fast I walked out of there.
​Finally, I found Avicenna International Hospital, and everything was different from the very start! Mr. Omer guided me through the entire process—his English is excellent, and he is incredibly friendly.
​I had varicose veins in one leg that I wanted to get rid of. The vascular surgeon, Dr. Ekenci, struck me as very competent right away. He got straight to the point and offered me a fair price, so I didn't even feel the need to haggle.
​I had the surgery the next day under general anesthesia, and everything turned out great! I’ve had hardly any swelling and no pain at all. I can highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for varicose vein treatment!

I’ve had an excellent experience with Avicenna, largely thanks to Joseph, the patient coordinator.

Over the course of three visits (including a revision procedure), he has been consistently outstanding. From the very beginning, he has been professional, approachable, and incredibly supportive – always taking the time to answer questions, explain next steps clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable and informed.

What really stood out was his attention to detail and genuine care throughout the entire process, especially during the revision, which can naturally feel more daunting. He made everything feel smooth, well-managed, and far less stressful.

I had two surgeries at Avicenna Hospital Istanbul, in February 2026, I feel very good and I am very happy with the results. I have used this hospital a few times for aesthetic and medical purposes, my coordinator and first person to call is Joseph, (Yusuf) he is an absolute angel making whoever he deals with feel so safe and reassured, I can’t imagine ever using another hospital Avicenna Hospital is spotless clean the staff are so professional their honesty and staff especially Joseph are irreplaceable he is the most genuine and clever guy his English and knowledge of every situation is amazing. I am delighted that I have this opportunity to help others make the right decision. All my surgeries have been very successful and the aftercare amazing from beginning at pick up point to organising hotels, appointments, medication and drop of at the airports it’s all very smooth with a very knowledgeable coordinator always close by. Sincerely recommend Avicenna Hospital for aesthetic needs. The staff is very friendly and always at your service, also a very clean hospital and delicious food. Patient care 24/7, the doctor visits regularly and gives all possible advice and ways for a quick and easy recovery. They follow your every move and request. I had a great experience and if I decide to go again, I will choose the same clinic. I came alone and I really had a completely pleasant feeling for all 7 days. The organization is maximal and very well done.

We had a very good experience at Avicenna Hospital. Dr. Mustafa Salih Canpolat performed the rhinoplasty and did an excellent job. The doctor was very professional, skilled, and caring, and we are very happy with the results.

Oh I have so much good to say about this Hospital. From the first chat to end of traveling I felt so much care and availability. I enjoyed the process even it sounds stressful. Doctor Caner Kaya did perfect job, results are so natural. The magic person who brings peace to your mind and helps you in everything Joseph Arnaout. He is super professional and kindest person. Always available no meter what. I went alone for surgery which I did not feel at all. Nice hospital rooms with own shower, 24/7 nurse care. Then they transfer you in beautiful hotel. Food was something else. I miss it. All I want to say you can trust this Hospital 100%.

I would like to share my wonderful experience with Avicenna International Hospital in Turkey, and especially with Joseph, who supported me throughout my journey.

When I first decided to complete my treatment in Turkey, safety was my biggest concern. That is why I chose Avicenna — I felt more confident going to a hospital rather than a clinic. From the very beginning, everything was handled professionally and smoothly.

I had a tummy tuck, liposuction, and breast implants,with Dr Caner Kaya and I can honestly say that from start to finish the whole process was very well organised. Communication was always clear, and I never felt confused or uncertain. Joseph was there to answer all my questions, no matter how small, and he always responded with patience and kindness.

What truly made a difference for me was his calm personality and supportive attitude. I travelled with my baby, and Joseph went above and beyond his duties — he even brought a full bag of fruits for my child, when I asked him. It showed genuine care, not just professionalism.

Booking, transfers, hospital arrangements — everything was organised perfectly. I felt supported at every step, which made a big difference during such an important and emotional experience.

J'ai choisi cet hôpital que j'ai repéré sur Instagram. Après avoir vérifié les avis de l'hôpital sur Google je me suis lancée pour une liposuccion 360. Et je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix
Tout d'abord, la communication avec Derya en français a été absolument claire. Elle a répondu à toutes mes questions sans jamais me forcer la main comme d'autres. Je lui ai demandé le nom de chirurgien qui m'opérerait, elle m'a indiqué que c'était le Dr Kaner Kaya. J'ai la aussi vérifié les avis et ils étaient excellents. Je me suis donc lancée avec une certaine crainte car c'était la 1ere fois. Mais tout s'est bien passé. D'abord la prise en charge de l'aéroport jusqu'à l'hôpital, puis la gentillesse des infirmières, la propreté des lieux et surtout le super travail du Dr Kaner qui vous écoute et vous donne les bons conseils tout en respectant vos choix. La aussi, il n'y a jamais de pression pour vous imposer quoique ce soit.. Je suis ravie du résultat, j'ai eu confiance du début à la fin. Et chose non négligeable, les tarifs sont en dessous des autres cliniques car sans abus. Derya m'a expliqué que ce qui comptait ici c'était d'abord la sécurité médicale des patients. Et je l'ai bien ressenti. Aussi,la gentillesse de Derya qui s'occupe de vous comme quelqu'un de sa famille, qui veille à ce que tout se passe bien a n'importe quelle heure!!Je nel'oublierai pas..Alors vraiment n'hésitez pas si vous avez un complexe qui vous gêne, allez y les yeux fermés.

i had a really great experience going to this hospital which was recommended to me .couldn't be happier with my procedure ,i had lower eye blepharoplasty. joseph was very helpful the translator , introduced me to doctor who made me feel at ease .The hospital very modern and clean nurses and staff cant do enough and make you feel very welcome . Aftercare is 100% would highly recommend .

Brilliant experience

Hi, I want to share my experience with Avicenna clinic! I am so pleased with their services, my translator was Yousuf (I hope I spell it right) and he was there all the time guiding through this process. I had a combination of 2 surgeries (masto+implant and labiaplasty+hoodectomy). I can say I was so stressed of doing it I went to turkey alone and I felt overwhelmed in the beginning. That’s when Yousuf intervened he talked to me I think for 2 hours haha only to calm me down and reassure me that nothing bad is going to happen. After surgery my pain was minimal but I want to say the nurses felt like they were family!they changed even my pad took me to the rest room and stayed there with mea as I was really dizzy. I have no words for the after care I would give 11 out of 10! I am 4 weeks post op now and I am so happy with my results and that I chose this clinic. Can’t wait to come back in September for my rhinoplasty definitely best clinic with the most caring staff, would recommend 👍🏼

I went to this hospital with serious back pain and wanted to have an MRI scan of my back and to seek second opinion after I had been told by the UK hospital that I was suffering from herniated discs.

It was last minute arrangement and decision as I was speaking to a lot of hospitals in Istanbul.
When I spoke to Joseph, the international patient coordinator for the hospital, it felt like I was speaking to someone I had known before, he was calm, patient, empathetic, honest, knowledgeable and kind. He facilitated the whole process, including finding accommodation, taking me to the hospitals for the tests and scans and made my experience very pleasant.

He arranged for me to meet the most knowledgeable, experienced and honest clinicians who invalidated the wrong diagnosis I was given in the UK and shockingly told me that nothing was wrong with my back. Instead they helped me understand that the whole time, I had been dealing with gynaecology issue which was getting worse because it was left untreated for a long time.

It would have been easier for them to offer me a back surgery and take my money due to a wrong diagnosis but this hospital is very honest, transparent and they genuinely care for the health and well-being of their patients.
This will not be the last time I will use them and I genuinely recommend this hospital to anyone who is currently in doubt where to go..

Joseph is one of the nicest people I have come across ever, he is a professional to the core, he listens, speaks fluent English with a diverse word range, so you would never have to worry about any language barrier or loss of any vital information, he is truly a good natured human being and you can trust he will get you the best Care and Support whilst you are at this hospital. For me, it’s a 10 out of 10.

I came in to have full crowns done. My customer rep mr Yousef Arnaout was the one who introduced me to avicena.
It’s being almost 2 years now and save for some works that needed redone, (where the lower jaw implants needed reworked and I have to travel back to Istanbul within this year to have it fixed) all other aspects of the dental works was excellent.
Yousef has stood with me in turkey, from the dentist to even logistics. At one point, he even walked me down the local pharmacy in the high street and helped with buying medicine - an experience that i found to be very personalised, he could to any length ensure comfort and ease of his customer. I would like to share my excellent experience with Avicenna Hospital in Istanbul.

I first visited Avicenna Hospital in November 2024 for a hair transplant, and then returned again one year later for blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). Both experiences were extremely positive and consistent in quality.

For both surgeries, my customer liaison officer was Joseph (Yousef). Joseph was outstanding — very patient, friendly, and highly professional. He provided detailed and useful information, answered all of my enquiries thoroughly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He arranged all doctor appointments and surgeries, recommended the best options for hospital stay and hotel accommodation, organised everything on my behalf, and also arranged transportation. I genuinely felt well looked after from the moment Joseph started communicating with me for my enquiries.

During my second visit, my surgeon was Dr Caner Kaya, who performed my blepharoplasty. Dr Kaya was professional, reassuring, and clearly very experienced. Before, during, and after the surgery, the anaesthetists, surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff treated me with kindness and professionalism. The care I received was excellent.

Communication was also very easy thanks to Joseph also being my translator, who ensured there were no issues at any point.

In terms of pricing, I compared Avicenna Hospital with several other clinics in Istanbul. In my experience, Avicenna’s pricing was very reasonable and competitive, with no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Everything was transparent from the beginning.

If you are looking for a proper hospital environment, high-quality medical facilities, professional staffs, assurance that in case anything happens medically, you are with a proper hospital (not just a plastic surgery clinic) and a truly 5-star level of service at a fair and transparent price, I highly recommend Avicenna Hospital. I was so satisfied with my experience that I even recommended a friend to visit them for plastic surgery.

We had a cyst removal surgery January 2026, we had a very pleasant and outstanding experience in the hospital. Joseph (Yusuf), he is very organised and friendly. He took care of us from start to finish and I still messages us time to time to check up on my wife’s healing progress.
I can say he is one of the best personnel I have ever meet in a organisation.
