Do NOT…. I repeat NOT buy a car from these cowboys.
Absolute disgrace to the motor sales trade…. Will sell you a dream which can quickly turn into a death trap!
Refuse to acknowledge any major issues even within first 30 days and then pretend to either go into liquidation or just flat out refuse to communicate.
In all my years of buying cars, this dealership is hands down the worst!!
Don’t be fooled by their shiny website and flashy pics… this place is the pits. Having to seek legal advice.

Trading Standards are aware and need any other people experiencing unacceptable customer service to report their experiences.

Buy your car elsewhere… please.

Please avoid this company! I've had issues with this company from the start of sale. My first grievance with this company is the very low PX value they gave me on the promise they'd do the cambelt, I've since found out the car has a camchain and not touched! However they gave me an invoice stating it had been changed! My 2nd issue is that I have mentioned to the garage I had a engine tap that wasn't checked or repaired when the car was sent straight back for an oil leak! I recently had another garage write up a report to say its their belief that the car has the incorrect service history or the wrong oil was added. They also stated the car would be fully serviced before handing the car over and again on my invoice but my partner did a full engine flush recently and the oil hadn't been changed for a very long time. There is a bolt missing that should be holding the air conditioning unit and again I was promised this would be replaced when delivered back to me, this didn't happen and still no information on works done or checked when vehicle returned to me. My car was sat for 3 weeks before any works started meaning I lost nearly a month or warrenty. Luckily I contacting my finance company within 14 days of sale who have finally got an independent enginer coming to look at the car and tapping that I am concerned about. They are rude, they lie, they promised things and when failed to deliver accused me of harrasment! Its basic customer service! Ive got my own independent report of the vehicles condition and I'm hoping the finance companies engineer will soon do his report to finally get things moving to get the car fully fixed. I could write more about the nightmare we had when the car was delivered and works being done outside my house, the hassle around the courtesy car and the amount of times I chased for job cards but I'd be writing this forever! Please don't take the risk, looking at some of the recent reviews the cracks of this company is starting to show.

Absolute con men!!!! Deception from the start…. Try to lure people in with their flash website and then all downhill from there. Liars who have NO CONSCIENCE and will happily sell unfit and often dangerous cars to innocent customers.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE anyone who is struggling with these cowboys, report them to Trading Standards as they need to be held accountable.

They pretend to be going into liquidation to take the heat of themselves. Don’t buy it, they are still trading….but don’t expect them to acknowledge any contact requests following sale especially if you aren’t happy as they will disappear.

Let’s all make these cowboys stop selling dodgy/dangerous cars to people handing over hard earned money!!!

Absolutely horrendous. It isn’t even worth the one star. Selling people cars thats are not fit for purpose & then pretending to go into liquidation so they can push the issues away from themselves. Rude, inconsiderate & cowboys. Scott Coulson & Stefan Brain run this ‘ business ‘ together even though Scott makes out he has 0 knowledge about cars and is only there as he wants to help people but in reality he doesn’t, he screws them over like his boss. They are still selling cars even though they have told certain customers they are going into liquidation. If you have had an issue with these cowboys contact trading standards. They are coming for this company.

Bought the car from them Nov 22. Ad was false, listing equipment that was not present. Car had faults that I was promissed they will be sorted under 3mths warranty included at the point of sale. Whole year later, several emails and car still not sorted. Had to fix from my own pocket. Absolute shame, bunch of cowboys, avoid like a plague

Dont trust this company was making payments on a vehicle for them to go into liquidation taking 4.5k of my money and screwing people over so close to christmas wouldnt advise ever using this company absolute shambles

Lad named scott and director named stephan never send these money and stay well clear. Absolute rats

Staff polite and understanding customer's perspective of buying vehicles. Knowledge good and would recommend buying from this car sales and would definitely revisit if purchasing another vehicle

Scott was very helpful throughout the purchase - from when we first viewed the car, to updates on when the car would be ready, and at handover. The car was serviced and valeted as agreed. Scott talked through everything that had been completed and arranged for the mechanic to talk through the service as well, which was appreciated. We're very happy with the car, and would not hesitate to visit Avon Car Sales if we need to replace another car we have.

Called to get advice about potentially selling my car. Spoke to Scott. Absolutely fantastic customer service. Scott couldn't do enough for me.
Explained about a potential car I am buying off a private seller. He went the extra mile and did a full inspection report on the vehicle for me which he did off his own back. Absolute top guy and if I had the chance I would rate him above and beyond 5 stars.
Would definitely recommend as he really does have an in depth knowledge and looks after his customers. Fantastic service and really reassuring.

WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY HERE EVER!!! DO NOT pay with cash,, only cover yourself with a finance company so you can cancel the purchase. I got the car with a finance company so I was lucky to get the refund.30 miles after buying the car the engine fault light came on,after no response from Avon car sales I took car to my local garage 100 miles from sale and had it scanned,, came up with 5 faults including gearbox ECU, , took 2 weeks to contact Avon car sales, did not answer phone, texts or emails until I said I was on my way up there, told them fault and they insisted I drove it up there instead of to local garage, they took off faulty ECU and sent it off for cheap fix, 5 weeks later I called ECU Testing company and they said they only just received it and it was un-repairable and had been for some time, ECU testing centre and 2 other garages said the fault codes must have been cleared with a scanner before I bought it and it would take 20 to 100 miles to show fault again on dashboard, which it did. Avon car sales had given me a courtesy car to use, but this was showing ABS, TC, AIRBAG and ENGINE fault lights on dash, with them stalling for time it made the 3 month Warranty vertually worthless so I decided to cancel the purchase, they said I could not cancel because I had modified the car, my wife is from Philippines so I put an "RP" sticker on the front and rear bumpers, this was the modification LOL, Avon car sales also said I had tried to re-map the ECU to make the car go faster, but when finance company saw emails with evidence of historical faults they did not believe Avon car sales. Do not trust this company ok, their website looks very professional and their transparent good reviews sound great, but read them carefully, you can see right through the obviously not so real ones, they don't comment on the good ones, only strongly defend the bad ones, once a buyer writes a review and seller responds, the buyer cannot answer or edit so the seller is free to give any excuse and defence they can think of, they talk of their professional team of experts, all helpful and knowledgeable, great buying experience, nicest bunch of people, best communication, but it's all for effect, they have absolutely no people skills whatsoever. My car was supposed to have had full service, but no signs of that were seen and no parts bills to prove for the filters etc, they offer extended warranties, but small print reads "parts only" and £60 per hour labour, which they can stretch out the work to claim back for the parts, their yard is just a yard surrounded by other new buildings and their office is just a glorified portacabin that can be emptied and re-located with YOUR money within hours, on close inspection as I waited for someone to arrive all 15 cars looked tired in some way,, like the last ones to be bought at an auction, not as shown on website, must have been airbrushed with smartphone camera and cleverly angled photos. Not one apology, only defence of themselves and blame put on buyer, I was lucky cos my finance company rejected the purchase, but it took months to sort out and it showed on my credit score for missed payments until finally they were deleted, DO NOT BUY HERE, but if you sadly do DO NOT pay with cash, and insist that they plug in a fault code scanner, if it shows "Pending" or "Not complete" then the fault codes will have been cleared very recently without the car being driven away from the yard since, ask them to explain, if they stumble to do so, just walk. OOHH!!! I just realised I CAN actually edit this, so the car is now back up for sale in their yard again, but it says "Just arrived", it hasn't, it was off their forecourt for about months, probably still waiting for the new ECU to arrive which they should have replaced, or they may have just cleared the fault codes again? there is a shortage of them in the whole of Europe, so that's why I think they tried dropping it on me after clearing the codes!! It may be an exspencive luxury car, but when the ecu's go it's not a cheap fix, a scanner IS. as I suspected their response below was a sympathetic one saying they tried to help, sorry all this happened, thanks for your review etc, Why thank me? its a bad review, but their response is all for the readers sympathy for Avon car sales and they can't even remember which car I had, they did not involve police? , they have no evidence to stop my review?, they are full of it, read their other responses to bad reviews, see the similarities??? MY review is the truth and MY review is varified, BUY somewhere else OK!!! Oh just seen the car for sale again today also, still there!!!, I've been asking for applogy for over a year now, nothing!!!
