Absolutely 1st Class service by Awl by Hand from ordering to delivery. It’s rare these days to find genuine English made goods using genuine English leather. I ordered a small leather Whippet Collar & am so pleased with the quality. This Collar has been made to last. Thank you

Good quality product and solid craftsmanship. The item looks well made and matches the description. Delivery was smooth and communication was fine.
One small detail could be improved, but overall I’m satisfied and would recommend Awl by Hand.

Amazing quality very strong beautiful leather lead and couples

I found Awl by Hand when looking to buy a replacement lead for my guide dog. They have a great website and I like to buy UK-made products where possible. I bought the Engish leather adjustable lead in a beautiful conker colour, and am delighted with the quality. It arrived within a week, well packaged but without being excessive, and a pot of leather conditioner was included which is a really nice touch. Outstanding product and first-class customer service - thank you!

Lyndsay has made a super job of the bespoke collar. The size is perfect and attention to detail from the dyed edges on the bridle leather that have been polished up to make the end product look the business & the padding is lovely too. When I order my next collar for my dog I will ask for heavier gauge brasses and wider keepers but that's my personal preference. I believe that the heavier brass will be more fitting with the lovely craftsmanship and feel the lighter weight brasses unfortunately look cheap. That said, I'm delighted with the collar and will be more specific with my next order.. If you want a special collar for your pet this is quality. thank you.

Beautiful rolled collar and a perfect fit. This is the second collar I have bought from Lindsay - the first one still looks like new after well over a year of use but my dog has lost weight and it has got too big.

Excellent service, communication and craftsmanship.

Beautiful collar, hand made, delivered 9 days after order placed. Even better than the pictures and my dog was very happy in it straight away, and she can be quite fussy. The sizing guide was very helpful and meant I didn't need to contact the vendor. Very easy and seamless, would recommend and order again.

Really beautiful product with very high quality craftsmanship. The leather smells and feels top class. Really nicely packaged, boxed with tissue paper around each item. It was also very easy to contact Lindsay to make small bespoke changes.

Will buy for Awl by hand again.

Whilst holidaying in Northumbria and visiting Felton I called in at Awl by Hand and met Lyndsey. What fabulous leather workmanship. I purchased a small bridle leatherwork handbag which is now my favourite go to for daily use. It’s neat, a beautiful colour (conker, I think) and very practical for holding small incidentals and knitting. I shall be commissioning a piece from Lyndsey and remembering her work on dog leads and collars for future use. Thank you Lyndsey I love my handbag
