Had an issue with a leaking roof and needed professional advice. The team of AWS was very thorough in their inspection, identifying the cause of the problem quickly. They provided a clear and well-structured report, detailing the necessary repairs. Their recommendations were practical, and their expertise was evident throughout. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing structural assessments or roofing advice!

AWS were fantastic. When they helped with our ground floor extension, Rex also measured for our loft and then 2 years later was about to provide the required calcs without visiting our house and hence did that for a very good price. Also very helpful in discussions with our builders. Would definitely recommend.

Really glad I used the services of AWS. I was in the process of buying a property and they helped determined structural issues. The services was fast and comprehensive. Importantly once they had produced the survey they also were happy to follow up clarify any points on numerous occasions.

Rex from AWS is amazing- he’s always so prompt to reply and really kind and helpful in explaining everything to me. He did a structural survey of our house and also provided drawings for several RSJ beams. AWS provided the structural drawings and engineering report for a tricky site on the side of a clay hill.
As it was a difficult site there was a lot of discussion about different options for proceeding. Our engineer Sue couldn't have been more open and collegial with the architect, builders and Building regs team to get us over the line.
When I had questions she was quick to reply and when we ran into an issue with a steel caused by a misreading of the plans, Sue consulted and signed off on a plan to remediate the issue without having to replace the whole structure, saving us thousands of pounds but maintaining the structural integrity.
AWS were at all times professional, keeping our safety at the forefront of discussions but were agile enough to recognise and seek creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems without compromising the overall goal of meeting all design and safety requirements.
