Another superb meal at Ayaan’s restaurant at Greengates, unbelievably consistently delicious!! Third visit, never disappointed

Amazing food , amazing service .. 100% recommend this place . Moctails are amazing! Also you can take your own drink which is good. Tbere platters are amazing value .. for what they offer!

Worst Ever Restaurant in Bolton worst and cold Food with bad unethical behavior by staff and owners not accepting their food quality and at Halal place customers using Alcoholic Drinks Not recommended for Desi Families

Went with my young family. Unfortunately walked straight back out as soon as we were seated. The restaurant allows you to bring in your own alcohol. This wasn't the right atmosphere I wanted for my children and my family. We walked straight back out. I wish we had known before we made plans.

Attended a friends 60th birthday celebration this evening 24th Oct 25. Pre booked tables for approx 40 people, 2 tables of approx 20 people on each. We were advised that we couldn’t place a separate order for me and my husband and the order would be taken for the whole table, despite not knowing 80% of the people sat on our table and we would have to work the bills out ourselves!
One waiter took everyone’s order, over 40 people….. which took over 45 minutes. No one came to take drinks orders, some guests went to Asda (which was close by) to get their own.
Poppadoms came out and we had to ask 3 times for chutneys and dips, which took another 15 mins, by which point we’d eaten our Poppadoms.
The mains were issued by waiters shouting out names of dishes to which we raised our hands for what we had ordered. I ordered a chicken masalaa and was given a prawn dish. I explained I had been given the wrong meal and it took another 30 mins for correct meal to be cooked and served. I then had to wait a further 20 minutes for my rice! By this time my main meal had gone cold and my husband had (begrudgingly) eaten and finished his meal. I gave up at this point after being in the restaurant for over two hours and only eaten two, dry cold Poppadoms. Lots of other guests complained of waiting over 20 minutes after the main meal was served, for sundries (rice and chips).
Shocking organisation when restaurant knew a large party booking had been made. no customer services or apologies from management.
Worst meal I have ever had in my life. Can’t comment on the food as didn’t get served any!
Dodgy “cash only” too. Beware and avoid at all costs!

Ayaans is a gem! Delicious food, impeccable service, and top-class management. Always a pleasure to dine here. Massive shout out to ‘Shehryar’ who looked after us. Highly recommended!

Had high expectations as it was recommended to us.
Waited almost an hour for food.
Staff were doing multiple jobs, cleaning as well as serving.
Whether they were down on staff,
Food was ok but too much salt and rice came half an hour before food, luckily it was changed. Maybe we just attended on a bad day. But don’t think I’d go again

so disgusting tasted like goo absolute terrible do not recomend to anyone that likes food to taste good

Saturday, 12th October 2024 I booked a table for 8 I had decided to take my work colleagues to Bolton (From Blackburn) I got there for 6:30 pm straight after work Unfortunately, three of our colleagues where running late, but we still placed the orders and placed orders for the 3 people who where running late

30 min later my colleagues arrived within minutes their food was served so we all started looking at each other thinking what’s going on here? I got up and I asked they said give me five minutes. I’ll find out half an hour later we’re still waiting for our food so I got up again. I asked they said give me two minutes and I will find out for you. It’s now 8:10 pm still no sign of food so I got up again for the 3rd time because I started to see people coming in from behind and getting there food and we were still sat there waiting for Ours the 3rd attempt I said I’ve only got two hours parking and I have 15 min left and there’s still no sign for our food what’s going on? At this point I was already annoyed as this was embarrassing. I felt like I forced my work colleagues to come to this place only to look like a fool at the same time I had to be somewhere so I couldn’t wait any longer and no way I was gonna have my food within 15 minutes. As My Car needed to be moved

Then the owner or whoever it was who was serving behind the counter came up to tell me that there’s been a mixup with your order and you need to give us a bit more time I think 1hr 45 minutes was more than enough time for The restaurant to rectify something I did give him an opportunity to pack my food so I can go as I said before I needed to be somewhere. It’s now 8:20 still no sign for the food. Then I got up and I left and I said to him I’m sorry I gotta go and cancel my order so I left a restaurant without eating so I sat there for nearly 2 hours only to not get served well done, great service 👏

I have come to this place before with my friends. never had a problem like this I loved the food loved everything but the second time I went it was embarrassing. Me and my 8 other friends were supposed to come again on Fridaythe 18th oct 2024 not happening now as I have made it clear, I won’t be coming to this place ever again thank you once again for ur great service

Even after I left my other three colleagues did not get their food for another 25 minutes wow this was a work meal very embarrassing but never again

Unfortunately this is the kind of world we live right now, even when it was their mistake, they still charged my work colleagues over £160 for me that’s just greed never again

Back again at Ayaans. This time with 11 friends. Great service, great atmosphere. It’s a fantastic place. They don’t rush you. You’re welcomed as friends rather than customers. The food is amazing. It taste like the food we get home. Can’t wait to go back again and again. Hira

After reading the reviews, me and my family booked to experience what everyone were talking about.

Unfortunately for us it turned very sour very quickly.

As we entered, the notice on the door stated CASH ONLY, so as we waited my sister went to a cash machine to draw out cash.

Our table was at 7pm, because the place had bigger parties booked, they created us a table against the service point (bar) and left a tight pathway for people to pass, we thought that would have not been a good idea as waiters would be carrying hot food and it would have taken just one trip for a potential accident.

We refused that table and we were told that we would have a table in 25 minutes (estimated) if and when a party left.

We decided to leave therefore we did not experience the food or the atmosphere.

As we were leaving, we overheard another couple who had booked, again they were told they would have to wait, we saw them walking out too.

If the bookings were more organised, and they did not just make tables up against a bar which was brightly lit on the full side and a clear pathway with adequate space maybe our experience would have been good.

On this occasion we gave it a miss, we ended up in sai spice which accommodated a table for us with no booking even though they were busy.

This curry house is the best in Bolton by far.
I have been using Ayaans for a while now and the food has always been amazing.
The staff are really helpful and pleasant, the owner is amazing at his job, he makes sure everything is on point.
I have sat in the restaurant and the atmosphere is amazing! The food and service is outstanding!
I also order takeways for my family on a regular basis and the food is outstanding.
I wouldn’t go to anywhere other than Ayaans. I highly recommend. 10/10.

What an experience food was so fresh and sooo tasty professional waiters brilliant customer service can't fault it my 1st time going and trust me this will be my go to place from now on

Service was extremely slow, drinks in our group came out one at a time. Chips were very poor quality, mocktails tasted like drinking undiluted cordial. Massively overcharged on the bill to the menu advertised. i.e. Charged £4.80 each for a coke yet the menu states £2.95 and told it was Bolton prices when challenged. Had to swat off flies through out our time there too.

Great Indian food that's well prepared and packaged. Delivered in specialized packaging with dry-ice that keeps things frozen, despite it using the standard mail system. Food quality is great, especially the Chicken Biriyani and the monthly specials are something to look forward to!
