My shirts were delivered in good time, fit well and are well made and the colours are strong and vibrant

These shirts really are excellent. The hemp has the appearance of linen and the heavyweight is a traditional, old-fashioned country shirt with contemporary colours. The cut, while classic, is not overly full on the waist: excellent for those who don't like excess material spilling over the belt, but for those of us who have acquired a bit more avoirdupois I would recommend taking a larger size. Very good long sleeve length.

Absolutely beautiful, gorgeous colour and the hemp is so much more interesting than linen , It’s my husbands Christmas present , he is going to love it . Super shape . So smart .

Admittedly I was sceptical of the claims of it feeling better than linen and cotton, after wearing the shirt on a night out, any doubts were quelled. Feels great, looks great.

Am absolutely delighted with my gorgeous burgundy hemp shirt. It has a wonderful feel to it, is well made, and I think it will really last. Is good to wear.

Slight hiccup with royal mail causing delivery issues but well worth the wait, the comfiest pair of boxers hands down, slightly on the larger size for me i think i will size down next time but still 10/10 was on the fence about hemp for a while and waiting to try but im fully converted, would love to see tshirts in the future? i look forward to trying the other items, fantastic company, above and beyond with personalised message in packaging, Repeat customer for sure. So much better than linen. Same cool, relaxed feel but just a little more structure and shape. I will be replacing all my linen shirts with hemp as they wear out!

After a little confusion on whether the shirt I ordered was in stock, the product was hand delivered to my front door. Top-tier customer service and really appreciated the great coms throughout. Shirts are great quality - well done guys!

I bought two shirts pink and turquoise. They are lovely to wear, the feel of the material is encompassing. A guy walking past me at the Edinburgh festival said I love your shirt and hopefully he will soon be a new customer.
I do think there should be short sleeve versions as well.

I am so happy with the experience I have had so far with Babble & Hemp. I love the shorts, I have two pair and they are great. I’m now onto the shirts. The quality and fit are perfect. The communication is so great and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
I love the ethos and transparency of the company. I like also that queries and size questions etc are followed up. It’s a real personal touch and does not feel like any other online shopping experience. Thanks guys

3/5 Stars for the Samarkand Blue Hemp Shirt.

I do really like the design and colour of this shirt - it's fantastic for summer and feels great to wear. However, I am disappointed with the craftsmanship/quality control re the buttons. Within a short time, I have had to restitch three different buttons which isn't something I would expect from a premium product. It's possible I just received a one-off faulty item but it has been disappointing.

Update: Since leaving my original review, Charlie reached out to me several times offering a refund or replacement, and despite me not being responsive, he still went above and beyond and sent me a couple of pairs of their boxers - which I really like. This kind of proactive customer service from a local company deserves recognition.

While my initial issue with the shirt was genuine, I am really impressed with how the company handled things and the quality of their other products. It's clear they care about their customers and stand behind what they make.

Updated Rating: 4/5 - Still love the shirt and now I can say they care about their customers too!
