Attended this class with my first child and absolutely loved it that I came back a second time. Vanessa puts on a great class filled with activities to keep you enjoying your time with your baby, and lets you leave with ideas on how to keep interacting with your child at home. A definite must do class if you want your child to flourish!

My son attended Baby College with Vanessa from 3-12 months, before I went back to work. We had the most brilliant time from day 1 and I attribute so much of my son’s development and confidence to these classes. The activities are insight-driven, informative but also fun, and give you tons of ideas for activities to do at home. Vanessa is welcoming, fun, observant, thoughtful and very knowledgeable with any questions or concerns I had about my son’s general wellbeing. Her experience as a parent too helps her be able to relate. If I have future children I’ll be back at her classes in a second as they were a hugely pivotal and enjoyable part of my maternity leave. My daughter and I attended classes with Vanessa Lobato for about three years. Vanessa was recommended to me by a friend. We started when my daughter was only couple of months old.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our Friday Baby College classes.
Vanessa’s classes were very well put together with lots of different activities. Classes were fun and helpful in understanding baby development and ways of learning. As a first time mum I was so grateful for everything I learnt.
Vanessa is very kind with a warm personality and all the children adored her.
My daughter favourites were games with the parachute and bubble time.
I would highly recommend Baby Collage with Vanessa, it’s beneficial for the whole family.

These classes have been the highlight of my maternity leave. My son started at around 4 weeks old and we have both learnt so much in the past 9 months. Ted has grown in confidence each week and I have learnt so much about his development. These classes are amazing for our little ones to grow, learn and make friends but also a supportive and caring group of parents too. Every child loves Laura. She is welcoming, loving and calming for us all. I definitely recommend Baby College for both tiny ones and parents.

Laura at baby college is amazing! We had been to several classes before finally joining baby college and it was instantly obvious my little one loved being there . Wished I’d have found it earlier !! Will defo be going there with my second first time ! She’s amazing, advice, kind and classes are imaginative and educational, they have really bought on my little one who said Mama for the first time at 7 months . I’m sure it’s been due to the help at baby college!!

Absolutely amazing experience and I would truly recommend baby college to everyone.
It’s a true pleasure to attend the classes. My baby started going from about 5 months. The classes are so helpful but also great fun, you can really see the effort and research that’s been put into planning them. The approach is so kind and professional to both the babies and the parents. My baby really progresses in the classes, and Venessa (our instructor) took time to make every person feel welcome every time. I cannot recommend baby college more!

I did baby massage with my 7 week old for 4 weeks in the Abingdon chapter with Kate. I found it really informative, and Kate does a great job of explaining what each movement is for. I've been doing bits and pieces of the massages at home and my little boy really loves it!

I’ve been attending baby college classes with my daughter since she was 3 months old and she is now 13 months. The classes are fun, insightful and helpful in understanding baby development and ways of learning. It’s a comfortable environment that welcomes tending to your little one when you need to and socialising with other parents. Laura our class leader is knowledgable about development, parenting and has answered so many questions I’ve had as a first time mum. We’ve loved implementing activities at home and I truly believe my daughter has learnt skills at these classes that she may not have learnt from just being at home. It’s been lovely to watch her graduate from infant to toddler class. I love that classes continue into the child’s toddlerhood and they can continue to build upon skills and routines they’re used to.

If you are looking for structured play for your baby to help them learn and develop then Baby College is for you.

I have been so impressed by the class that I’ve been raving about it to other parents.

It’s refreshing to join a group that is about the baby and not just about mums getting to know each other. Classes are fun, engaging and incorporate several different elements to help your baby move, play, learn, communicate and feel loved.

We left baby college in the summer due to my son starting nursery and I miss it. It was so great to see my son enjoy it every week. Laura is a fantastic teacher

The use of makaton is brilliant too as someone who encourages her children to
Understand makaton and uses it daily at work it’s fabulous to see the inclusivity!

This baby class is a amazing only been there for few times but we’re coming back after the summer holidays as it helps my son with everything new words gonna help him make friends and me friends literally love it, and the person that teach the baby class she is amazing with them

Laura at Baby College West Bromwich and Wednesbury has become such an iconic part in my child’s development. Taking my eldest to her classes for the past 2 years has been the highlight of our weeks, he has gained so much from them and watching him develop each week has been amazing. Now he’s off to nursery and I’m gutted to see him leaving baby college but I’m also excited I get to take my youngest there now, she went to her first class at only 9 days old and I’m looking forward to seeing her develop as he did.
Laura’s knowledge and experience is amazing and she’s quickly become someone I go to with any questions in child development etc. I can’t recommend these classes enough!

As a nanny who has been attending baby college classes with Vanessa for almost two years I can positively say this is the BEST baby/toddler class I have ever signed up to! I work Monday-Friday and started baby college with a 9 month old who is now 2 and a half and we attend a baby/toddler class almost every day. Vanessa is brilliant with all of the children’s me really plans each class to tailor each age group and individual need! I have seen the little one I look after grow in confidence and ability since attending weekly sessions, he was quite shy and reserved and preferred to observe the class for the first few months and now the enthusiasm and connection he has with each class astounds me!! I would HIGHLY recommend this class as it is so worth watching the little ones grow and develop and also provides great advice, support and a range of ideas and activities you can engage with your little ones at home!

I highly recommend Vanessa and her Baby College classes for you and your little one. I have been attending these classes since my son was around 3 months old, starting with the infant class and later transitioning to the toddler class before my mum took over taking him to the juniors. Now, my little boy is two years old and is moving on to nursery, marking the end of our wonderful journey with Baby College. Vanessa has created such a warm and inviting environment for families. It is an exceptional and secure place for new mothers to learn, share laughter, and engage in play with their precious babies. Both my mother and I have created beautiful memories that we will cherish from our time at Baby College. Thank you, Vanessa, for providing us with such a special experience.

My daughter Skyla and myself have been attending baby collage with palvinda from when she was a baby to now she’s just turned 2,
Skyla absolutely loves this class it has given her so much confidence and structure, when we tidy up at home we always sing the tidy up song.
She loves the music time with the instruments 🥁 and when we lay down to relaxing music ,
There are so many different activities in this class that keeps them entertained but also learning at the same time.

I started this class when my daughter was just 8 weeks old, it was the first class I joined. Vicky was very welcoming and the classes have always been good fun.

I’m really pleased I found baby college because it’s not only really helped the development of my baby but i have also learnt a great deal and received great advise activities I can do with my daughter to help encourage her development further.

We have loved our Baby College classes with Vanessa and are so sad to leave. My daughter would spend every class with the biggest smile on her face, and me too knowing that we were both getting so much out of it. Not only are the classes fun and informative but Vanessa creates such a loving and supportive network and always has time to lend an ear. I would recommend Baby College classes to anyone.
