This was our second Banquist meal, we have really enjoyed the prep, cooking and eating of these wonderful meals. Also as an added bonus have learnt some more culinary skills. Would really recommend to anyone that likes food!

Banquist is the perfect evening in. A lovely cooking experience, done at your leisure, wonderful food as a result of their ingredients and excellent instructions, and lovely wine.

Just finished yet another fantastic Baquist experience (NYE) which was perfect! Brought 2021 to a close with the most delicious menu of fresh produce and the perfect tipple alongside. We will be back for more in 2022!

Our Christmas meal was absolutely perfect. The quality of the products were really excellent and the whole meal was delicious. There was an abundance of everything and it made Christmas the easiest one yet. We will definitely do this next year.

Just enjoyed hugely NYE with Tony Parkin. Easy to follow instructions, and very high quality ingredients. Looking forward to enjoying more of your meals, but will have to buy more pans and employ a washer up!

Fabulous ingredients and great instructions, made Christmas Day perfect.

After I bought myself a course for my birthday earlier in the year, I bought my husband the December Atul Kochhar course for Xmas and it was fabulous, especially as I could eat half of the wares! He produced amazing plates and as an already accomplished cook, still learnt loads about Michelin level Indian cooking. We also got the Xmas meal which was great. Much more basic than the Atul meals but we knew that in advance (gastropub style) and with 300 minutes of prep and cooking required, was still work and learning, so was perfect for Xmas. We had to eat it over the two days as were so full. Husband did starter and dessert and I did the main. Next our wish list is the Thai course. Hope that keeps going like Atul’s. Will definitely keep coming back.

We got the Christmas Day Banquist box and everybody who ate was decidedly underwhelmed. Now, let me make myself clear here. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the michelin quality that we were expecting. If you enjoy cooking and are a relatively accomplished hobby cook, this box isn’t for you and you can probably do better yourself.
If you’re not very confident in the kitchen and don’t have a lot of experience cooking, this may be enjoyable - though at times the instructions and quantities are confusing, especially if you watch the cook along video and also read the meal card together.
There weren’t even instructions to safely de-shell the lobster.
As far as taste goes, it was fine. Nothing to write home about and for the money, despite there being generous quantities of food and it being of good quality, I wouldn’t say that this was good value.
In short, don’t buy if you think you’ll be recreating mind blowing meals, or learn anything new if you are reasonably comfortable in a kitchen already.

So excited to be receiving my Christmas and New Year Banquist boxes. During 2021 I have shared so many exceptional experiences- Pasta; Indian; Contemporary British each one arriving promptly on secure and chilled boxes - like Christmas every day!
And with the accompanying lesson with my own first rate private chef …. Excellent ingredients with detailed instructions to prepare, cook and serve a fine dining experience. I just can’t wait for my next box to arrive in time for Christmas.

Completed the Theo Randall course - all amazing and I’m a pasta expert now!

Since Banquist started I have been an enthusiastic customer. Every menu that I have had has been a learning curve and successful dining experience and not one of the amazing chef's boxes have disappointed. The recent four week courses have added to my cooking skills and I hope they can continue to evolve and inspire.

I love every single box, the last one was amazing and I have done it several times since. Could be great getting full recipes in the box so its easier to make it again, especially the desserts that comes nearly done.

Having done previous courses with Banquist, the Indian Fusion was a must. We learned so much about balancing flavours, the importance of getting the onion cookery just right and developing layers of flavours into the dishes. The course was a bit more fiddly than previous ones, but resulted in stunning dishes every time. Can’t wait for Sally’s Christmas meal.

Over the last year, I've ordered pretty much all the meals on offer and, without exception, they have been outstanding. You get to eat a great meal and improve your cookery skills in the process. Highly recommended

Always wanted to try one of these experiences, I ordered it when there was a limited time offer and loved it.
The detailed recipe arrived a few day early so I could plan ahead. The food arrived beautifully packaged and with very generous portions and high quality ingredients. The chef on the video is so friendly and full of tips I loved every second of it.
The 3 course meal came out great, it tasted incredible! What a wonderful meal. (Tony Parkin : ceviche, sirloin steak and lemongrass panacotta)

I am just having the best time following Atul’s Indian fusion course.
All the delivery logistics work perfectly. The ingredients arrive in excellent condition well packed and quantities easily enough to cover the menu.
The instruction cards and easy to read and cover everything.
The video delivery is clear well explained and personalised and I really feel that Involved. The time just flies by

Having followed Banquist since the start, it was only a matter of time before we decided to take the plunge and order and having been to Alchemila a couple of years ago, the Alex Bond meal seemed the perfect choice. We'd previously had an "at home" box from a local Michelin starred restaurant and were very impressed so thought we knew what we were getting. We were wrong. The one massive difference, and for me, a massively positive difference was the amount of involvement in the Banquist box compared to that of our previous at home experience. This wasn't just a case of reheating and serving, this was so much more involved. I appreciate that, for some people, that may be a negative point but for us, not only did we get to experience a stunning meal, but we also learned some new techniques and recipes which will definitely be used again. The accompanying video was so helpful and watching it through a couple of times meant that we knew exactly what would be required of us. Spending a little time in the afternoon doing as much of the prep as possible meant that the meal itself was stress-free to cook and didn't stop us from being able to relax and enjoy our food. Can't wait to receive the New Years Eve box now. Thanks Banquist and thanks Alex

I recently completed the pasta course with theo randall and it was amazing, it completely transformed my pasta making I’ve struggled for a couple of years to make pasta and my partner said if this doesn’t work i should give up , but this course turned everything around i’m now making pasta a couple of times a week and she loves it, thank you so much would definitely recommend this course and the ingredients provided were amazing, will definitely look at other courses in the future, if you’re thinking of learning to make pasta definitely pick this course thank you Jonny, Theo and Banquist

Did the Atul Kocchar full course. Really excellent. I was concerned an online experience wouldn’t be as educational as an in-person course, but it all worked brilliantly, & I’ve really learned a lot. Nice to with with such good ingredients too. Massively recommend Banquist

Just completed the Atul Kuchher’s course. Really an engaging experience. My wife and I cooked and prepped together and produced some great meals. Rack of Lamb being the highlight. We learned about spicing and balancing flavours and are now braver with the use of chilli and ginger.
Fun to do as a couple.
