We ordered a TV unit from this company, on the 12th of January. We spent a further £300 on ornaments and pictures.
The tv unit was delivered the following Thursday. That being the delivery/uplift day for Newton Stewart.
The rear right top corner, was damaged. Also the right hand door, had been pushed in. Jamming it.
It was uplifted the following Thursday.
We asked for the £699 to be refunded to our card. You either travel the 100 plus miles (round trip), to Dumfries for a card refund. Or they post a cheque.
We were informed that a cheque had been posted, on the returned date of Thursday the 22rd.
When the cheque finally arrived on the 31st. The post office stamp was for the 27th.
We had previously contacted them regarding the late cheque and had been told that another would be issued. So we emailed and asked what to do with this late delivered cheque. "You can bank it". So we did. It has bounced.
It is now the 2nd of February and still no refund.
The left hand needs to start communicating with the right.
Time to involve American Express.

This is a scam company. BEWARE. THIS IS NOT BARBOUR COMPANY. I purchased gift cards unusable in the USA. They refuse to respond to me and offer any refund or willingness to provide a product or service. This company is counting on consumers being confused by the name similarities. NEVER BUY HERE.

Had a carpet installed. Terrible service. Noticed a problem with the fitment and managed to catch the installers in the driveway. They refused to come inside and look at the problem. Tried to make excuses that the pile height was different. The wood panel by the sliding door was loose. They installed it incorrectly and I had to redo it. I could not believe that they were not willing to come in and even explain the problem. Fitters just weren't interested. Too be honest I was amazed that they wouldn't even come back inside to discuss the problem. I will not be using them again. It really would have been an easy problem for them to fix but they just weren't interested....

Genuine company. Purchased a Barbour jumper and was delievered promptly. Would buy again from Barbours.
