We're sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

All barcode numbers we sell are guaranteed to be sold only once, so they cannot be legitimately assigned to another product on Amazon. In many cases, when Amazon displays a message referencing another product (such as an iPhone), it is typically due to a temporary catalog mismatch that can usually be resolved quickly.

We also noticed that our support team has not received a message from you regarding this issue yet. We offer a Works for Amazon Guarantee, which means you are fully covered and we will make sure the issue is resolved.

One of our agents will be reaching out to you shortly to review the situation and provide a resolution as quickly as possible. We’re committed to making this right and ensuring you’re able to use your barcode without any problems.

We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

The issue described is related to Amazon Brand Registry requirements rather than the functionality or validity of the barcode numbers themselves. Our barcodes work for Amazon listings, which is why we provide a "Works for Amazon" guarantee, and we clearly explain throughout our Terms of Service, FAQ section, and product pages that Amazon Brand Registry has different requirements if a seller has agreed to obtain barcodes directly through GS1.

If a seller has entered into an agreement with Amazon requiring GS1-issued barcodes for Brand Registry, Amazon will only accept numbers purchased directly from GS1. Unfortunately, this is a policy set by Amazon and is outside of our control.

We always aim to be transparent about this distinction before purchase so customers can make the best decision for their specific needs. If you would like help reviewing your situation or discussing possible options, our support team would be happy to assist.

Hi there,

We’re really sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced. We take feedback like this seriously and want to help resolve this as quickly as possible.

First, we want to clarify that every barcode we sell is only sold once. When a barcode number leaves our system, it can never return or be resold, which makes it impossible for the same barcode to be issued to another seller.

We also want to note that we have not received any support request from you regarding this situation yet. Our support team is always available and ready to help investigate and resolve issues like this. In many cases, Amazon Seller Support provides canned responses and does not employ dedicated barcode experts. At Bar Codes Talk, we have a team of barcode specialists available to assist every customer directly.

Additionally, all of our customers are protected by our Works for Amazon Guarantee, which is unique in the industry. This means you are fully covered, and we will make sure you receive a working solution.

Our team will be reaching out to you directly to get the details and make this right.

We appreciate the opportunity to help resolve this for you.
