Good price. Good location. Pick up was great.

No working headlights when we were 7 hours away from the depot was a major issue. Not something you would expect though. RACQ could not fix it. No follow up from the hire car company to see if we were ok. Luckily we could fix it.
On return they just refunded the cost. Still no contact or apology. No compensation for the problem. 3 hour delay and had to drive on without them. So stressful.

Extremely high excess rate of $5500 which doesn't cover animal impact.

The Townsville staff were outstanding. The call cente staff in Hobart are terrible. They didnt add any details to my booking such as a baby seat or contact details even though they asked for all my personal details, and the Townsville manager and his desk staff went above and beyond in fixing our issue. The only reason I will book with Bargain again.

It was not a good experience at all my booking time wasn't on time. Had to go back to the counter numerous times. Waiting outside and the people that were dropping the cars off were too busy standing around talking and smoking and talking.People that had there car booked after me got there car and off well and truely before us. Tried to talk to them and was spoken to very rudely. Will never be using your service again very disappointed.

I was offered a truck instead of a van. I instead took a car which had just returned, I told her don't worry about cleaning. The whole episode took about half an hr. Your rep insisted that I pay for insurance after I already told her I had insurance through Webjet. She was not friendly at all, in addition.

We were told our vehicle was fine and our hold deposit would be refunded. We were not advised that there would be a second check after we left.
We then got an email (after we had left) telling us the vehicle needed a repair.
This felt like we had been lied to, as we left under the impression the vehicle was fine and we were finished with Bargain Rentals.
Then they refunded our deposit and charged us for the maximum possible repair cost, then sent us an invoice for a much lower repair cost, then only partially refunded the difference due to other "charges" Bargain Rentals added to the original invoice which again they had not told us about.
All in all a terrible experience and left us feeling a bit conned.

Because we filled out the forms before arrival, getting the keys to the car and driving off was completed in 10 minutes. We were also 3 hours late dropping the car back but the lady very kindly adjusted our booking times so we wouldn’t be penalised. Would highly recommend bargain car rentals.

The service was good the price fair and the vehicle was in good order.Don't go small car if your a big person that’s all.
