Barker Shoes レビュー 

Excellent quality shoes and service. I often purchase my shoes from Barker’s which is good old British quality craftsmanship.

I unfortunately had to return a pair of stunning double mon strap and close to visit the factory store at the same time. The lady assistant was very knowledgable and efficient, who then gave such helpful service as I purchased another pair of great loafers. The service is the same as the product “faultless”.

I have had Barker shoes for years. Always well made quality shoes with classic styles. Great value for a quality product.

I don’t believe what I have just read from Barker.

I bought a pair of Barker suede Chukka boots in July 26 to wear with my light summer trousers. The boots have a blue leather lining and generally speaking they are nice to wear.

However, after wearing them a few times I noticed I had blue toes and my fawn coloured socks were also blue where they were in contact with the shoe.
I reached out to Barker to ask the best way of making the blue dye from the leather colour fast, so avoiding spoiling any more pairs of my socks.

The reply from Barker was simply “jaw dropping”.. wear dark socks!!! If this was a joke reply, I didn’t find it very funny after spending north of £200 on a dodgy pair of shoes.

After buying Barker shoes for decades my loyalty is repaid with a dose of sarcasm from them when, for the first time ever, something isn’t quite right with a pair of their shoes.

I would advise anyone thinking of buying a pair of Barker shoes to avoid anything with a coloured leather lining! The leather isn’t colour fast and will dye your feet, in my case blue!!

Update: the response requests a DM. But I can’t see how to do this! The shoes were Ted - Old Snuff Suede Chukka Boots. Purchased 7/7/26 that cost me £280! I am still very cross with Barker shoes, paying this amount for a pair shoes that ruin your fawn coloured socks and turn your toes blue is an absolute disgrace.

Update: sent two emails to various Barker departments and waited for a response. There was no contact even after a few weeks. I purchased a spray that has fixed the dye and my toes don’t turn blue anymore. I will never trust this type of coloured leather liner and suggest anyone thinking of buying shoes or boots with a coloured leather liner from Barker to look at other manufacturers.

Good communications, I was able to easily modify my order. My shoes arrived quickly and extremely well packed. It is important when ordering to check the last being used and how that alters the shape and fit.( All that information is on the site.) The quality of their shoes, as always, was excellent. I am really pleased with the 2 pairs I bought and the discount in the sale was very good.

Quality products at a reasonable price

Excellent service , product arrived on time.Ordering process is simple.

You need to ensure your chosen courier/delivery service collect and deliver door to door.

I ordered a pair of shoes in the Barkers sale (heavily advertised on my social media). The system was very quick to advise me that the order had been received and was being prepared, even to the point of telling me that a courier label had been prepared. Then nothing.
I engaged the live chat bot to ask where the shoes were and was given a support call reference. Then nothing.
I commented on a social media post where at least there was some engagement and I was asked for order number and contact details. I was subsequently assured that the shoes would be with me by the end of the week and they hoped I would enjoy them. Then nothing.
Just before midday on the "end of the week" (14 days after the order) I emailed Barkers to ask what was going on. It transpires that the size I had ordered were not in stock, but no-one in the warehouse had bothered to let sales know this *minor* detail. I quickly indicated that a smaller size was acceptable and they were delivered 24hrs later.
Shoes are fantastic, service not so much

I originally ordered a different pair of shoes and Barker were good about letting me return them as I found the buckles almost impossible to use. After some wrangling with the Paypal system and them tracking down the right pair of shoes for my needs, I now have a pair of shoes I expect to enjoy for years. Of course they will take a while to break in but that's all part of having a set of leather shoes. Overall I would say good shoes and good service and the cedar shoe trees are very much worth investing in, I smell cedar whenever I go near my shoes now and it's great.

I bought my shoes in the sale so got them at an excellent price. They are fantastic quality (as you would expect). I have no doubt they will certainly outlast me. They were also delivered quickly. Thank you

The shoes I purchased from Barkers were not the correct colour, I was informed by the company that they no longer made the colour I wanted anymore, although they continued to advertise them on line as available.

A used shoe was sent to me. It has been returned and waiting for my what I paid for.

Looked good, but didn't fit and weird shape. Look fine in photos, but the toe shape is just wrong.
Now getting inundated by emails asking me to review and trying to sell me more.
Overall a negative experience.

I found the whole experience very professional, the on-line shopping, the delivery service, and most of all the shoes I received, and I love the shoe horns that came with the package, the manufacturing is exquisite and will last for years providing I look after them.

Shoes are great. Unfortunately one of the packages was lost during spedition but, after some time, they sent me another pair of shoes.

Great shoes at a decent price really good service to !
