My sale took a year to finally complete and involved 3 different sets of buyers. Bear kept me informed every step of the way and were great when the sales collapsed ensuring I had new viewings very quickly. During each sale Zoe kept me well informed managing my expectations (and stress levels!) and was always on hand if I had any questions. The whole team couldn’t have been more helpful and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Could not thank Zoe Moore enough even if we tried. We were involved in a very tough chain but Zoe went above and beyond. She is polite, professional, always contactable and a credit to Bear. A huge thank you from Beth and Ross!

We used Bear Hockley to sell our Mum’s property when she went in to a care home. Ellis said he would price the property to sell, without undervaluing it, and would aim to sell at asking price plus cover our costs, which is exactly what he did. He even matched his costs to those offered by another agent, less than they normally charge. There was no hard sell and Ellis had a very friendly approach caring about our position and circumstances. Property sold within 6 days of it going live and he advised on on best buyer from offers received, luckily we got one with a good deposit and no chain. There were some delays due to it being on an unadopted road, but Zoe our sales progresser was brilliant every step of the way, reassuring us and in liasing with solicitors on both sides to keep things moving. We wouldn’t hesitate in using Bear again or recommending their services to others wanting to buy or sell locally. A great experience all round.

We have had a difficult chain & sale …and all throughout the stressful process Tilly in sales progression has been fantastic working hard trying to find out what was going on in a chain that were not communicating with the other parties involved …she was a voice of reason even when we were getting so frustrated by it all…Thanks Tilly for all your hard work.
On another note all the staff we encountered from Bear during the process before we found a buyer were all very pleasant and helpful.

We had a great experience with this estate agent. They both sold our property and helped us find land, making the whole process really smooth and stress-free.

Dan was extremely helpful and managed to sell our property to the very first buyer who viewed it. Everything went through without any issues, and their costs were much cheaper compared to other agents we looked at.

Scott, who dealt with the land we purchased, was also fantastic. He gave us lots of helpful advice and recommended reliable people, which made everything much easier.

Overall, the whole team was brilliant—friendly, professional, and very easy to deal with. We would definitely recommend them.

bear was actually working on behalf of our vendor but were actually instrumental in getting the entire transaction done. Their Senior Sales Progressor Wendy Baily could not have more helpful or diligent in getting all of the many parties involved aligned. She was hugely supportive to me through quite a fraught process and offered great, specialist advice.

Great service from start to finish. Tom was brilliant from the start on the early negotiating sale side. Always felt I could get hold of the team for any questions etc. Then we were passed to Helen for sales progression who was faultless. She kept us up to date throughout the entire process both on email and also phone calls. Communication was superb throughout, always felt I could get help if needed and the fees were good too! Would not hesitate to recommend Bear to anyone looking to buy/sell a property!

Bear (Southend) have a fantastic proactive team, and although you don’t get to deal with one person I’ve realised this is to your advantage. Each team member is highly experienced in their area of sales. From Rebecca who is always available to organise viewings and keeps you updated and can answer a host of queries, to Tilly in the progression team that works continuously to keep the chain going and communicates frequently and even Tom, the Branch manager, will provide support if needed. No wonder across the towns you’ll see Sold Bear signs!

I used bear to sell my flat after a period with another agent. After only a few viewings with the old agent, Bear arranged a viewing the day after it went on the market and that ended up being our buyer!
