Ordered this for my Mother. Her Mother made this for her for every Christmas for over 40 years and although I never got to taste it, I wanted to give her something that she loved. She has almost finished this gift from me, and still I have not ever tasted Date Nut Bread cause she will not share. She loves this loaf and tells me that it tastes just like the ones she was given by her Mother. She is 84 now and I am so glad that I found you and was able to find her the Date Nut Bread!

I thought it was darker bread and it fell apart like crumbs I would have had more dates and nuts

I absolutely love date nut bread and since I always get your fruitcake, which is delicious and the only one I get anymore, I thought this would be a sure thing and hopefully made the old fashioned way, which is what I know. However, while it was also good, it tasted a little too sweet, not enough dates and not dense enough. Usually the dates make it sweet enough. I probably wouldn't order again unless the recipe was changed a little.

Really enjoyed it. The only ingredient missing from my recipe was raisins. Will purchase again.

Very good flavor moist, and keeps well…my husband likes to eat it with a slice of American cheese on top! I like a thin layer of butter.
