I’ve been using BKK for perhaps 10 years now. Whenever I ask ‘can you do better on the price of I purchase 6 or 10?, they will attach a coupon with a huge discount (sometimes up to 25%) which more than covers the shipping. They are fast to respond to my queries when I message them, and depending on one of tbe 5 couriers you choose, some are quick, and others are less expensive but you have that choice to choose your delivery company. All in all, I cannot fault them. I’m confused why there are so many low reviews. Sorry but a one star because your delivery arrived in a week is a ridiculous review. Sorry. Keep going, KBB. You are doing an amazing job for your customers. I am one of the very grateful long time customers. Thank you so much. :)

Terrible customer service. The product never arrived. I bought some perfume on october, 22th 2025 and still haven't been refunded.

Poor customer service.
Product did not arrive.
Shouldered the round trip shipping fee.

The longer shipping times and higher shipping cost are to be expected with this company as they are not a retailer with a warehouse full of products, but a 3rd party shopping service. You order the products you want and the BBK staff goes out to the stores/orders online through Korean websites, packages your items, and sends them to you. This is also why you may be notified items are out of stock after you have ordered them. These used to be the norm for buying Korean beauty products before Korean companies started opening international websites. It is useful because you can get less famous/new products are not available internationally.

The staff was prompt with notifying me of out of stock items and once the items were dispatched, they arrived within 10 days. Overall, I've had some slower shipping experiences orderring directly from Korean companies.

I decided to bite the bullet and try ordering from here as BeautyBoxKorea has a lot of rare kbeauty items that I couldn't find elsewhere. I was very pleasantly surprised!

I ordered two Dasique tints from them for a fair price - granted, the site does not have a free shipping threshold so orders don't come out exactly cheap, but some deals can be affordable.

The items were promptly sent out two days after I ordered via k-packet. Despite the shipping method being one of the usually slower ones, my order came only a week after shipping in perfect condition! Everything was packaged nicely and securely and BBK even included quite a few very nice beauty samples.

I would definitely recommend Beauty Box Korea for anything you really want but can't find on Olive Young etc!

Having read the reviews below, I can say that this website will only work for a small group of people. I too decided to order for the rare availability of some items that I wanted, only to wait for 7 days and to be told that half of my order wasn't in stock. I send a replacement order, and again, half of it wasn't in stock. This would be okay if they told their customers they can't guarantee availability, but with the way the website is set up now what happens is that they "push" you into exchanging your items with things you didn't want in the first place. Customer service is polite, but will not address issues and will not respond to my concerns. They flat-out ignored me.

I just placed my third order and I still cannot recommend Beauty Box Korea enough. I read the low reviews and it sounds like people don’t understand how a korean shopping service works, which is why they complain about slow dispatch times. So I want to use this review to explain how those work and then review how Beauty Box Korea is in those terms.

1. A Korean shopping service buys the products they send you from other stores for the actual product price and then adds a small service fee per product.

- Beauty Box Korea charges very low service fees for their products compared to other shopping services that add $1 per product. Sometimes the goods on BBK are actually cheaper than the actual product price on the retailer’s website!

2. Shopping services don’t usually have their own stock because every order is so customized. That’s how they’re able to get you a variety of rare goods that sites like YesStyle can’t (YesStyle has its own stock so has limited options)

- BBK seems to be half half with having some of its own stock and needing to custom order others. I have experience receiving my items within a week (which means they must have had their own stock) before. But expect to receive your items in more like 2 weeks, since it takes 1 week for them to order the items for you. Which makes sense to me because it’s a custom order.

3. You can request anything you can find in an online Korean store for shopping services to send to you!

- BBK has a custom order request in their forum. I requested two items from my favorite niche kbeauty store that no other English store had. Within 2 days of my request, BBK had added the products to their site just for me so I could order them!

4. Shopping services are the only way for foreigners to order Korean goods that aren’t commonly sold overseas or in YesStyle, since is foreigners don’t have Korean banks or credit cards and the actual Korean stores don’t take overseas cards or PayPal. Shopping services do though. They will also communicate with the Korean retailer on our behalf so we don’t have to worry about the language barrier.

- I actually tried to order 13 makeup items myself from my favorite niche Korean store since they said they would ship overseas, but the store wouldn’t take my credit card (only takes Korean cards) and it was such a pain figuring out the checkout form using google translate. The store even told me to use a shopping service when I emailed for help. Which made me realize why I use BBK and not try to do it myself.

Based on all this, I really love BBK. I wanted to make sure others here had the right expectations for how shopping services work since a 1 week time to wait before your goods are dispatched sounds very reasonable to me given each order is custom ordered for just you and you don’t have to try to figure it out yourself using google translate and getting a Korean bank card.

Never in my life have I come across a company that does not let you unsubscribe from their newsletter. That’s just absurd. Not only is there not an unsubscribe option in the emails, when you log in to your account and try to uncheck the newsletter option, it says something about how customers who signed up can’t change it and unsubscribe! What kind of business even does that?

I had mixed feelings for this website, considering how some say its good (full on worshipping the shipping time), while others complain about the terrible shipping time and whatnot. From my experience shipping was "bad" because they didn't have the product. They're honestly a website where they order stuff for you, then ship it to you, they themselves don't have the products as if they're a warehouse holding on to it. This becomes a problem when stuff gets sold out. I tried to buy clothing from this website, and a couple of days after I ordered, I see that both clothing I bought were sold out. The brand which is also only available in korea, also no longer had the clothing either. They soon after take down the sold out page into nothing, so its hard to say what is no longer available, and that they should give a refund. If you are going to order things like skincare, this would probably workout since they themselves could order it from multiple places, but clothing wise, or limited products is a big fat no. Huge waste of time.

I was unsure at first due to the reviews on here. But other than the shipping time it was a great experiance.

The site has a huge variety of K-beauty products that I can't find elsewhere and they always have discounts on the products.

You do have to pay for shipping no matter how much you spend, so keep that in mind when you put stuff in your basket and I recieve a tracking number.

Shipping time was the only con for me, it took the parcel nearly 1 month to reach me, however, since there are many products I would not be able to get elsewhere, it's worth it to me.

So far I have not needed to pay for customs, but it might be because I just got lucky.

Absolutely horrible customer service... Sends wrong options, then updates their page so that you can't screenshot what was being described prior to your complaint, then blames the client for their mistake. Doesn't even offer options to rectify their mistake, just a "sorry" and that they'll "take more care next time." If only that hasn't been their response for more than 3 times I'd believe it more? Once they forgot to send my order for a month, then said the same thing.

New customer (from Nov 2020) that will continue to repurchase from them when my wanted items are on sale with cheaper price compared to others. they carry a vast line of products similar as Yesstyle. if there is some rare specific Korean product/ fashion that you are looking for but unable to find online, you can try your luck here!) I managed to find some hair tool (specific local Korean brand) from them that I can't find anywhere else. They are also generous with their free samples! The only CON of this website is they don't have a minimum spent to get FOC shipping. Their average products' prices are cheaper or similar than other website but bear in mind you will have to pay for shipping fees depending on the weight. In term of customer services, they are very quick to respond & solving your problem by providing you either credit or choose another product. There's no hassle of back and forth emails and avoid delaying your shipping process. My shipping is fast enough, a typical 2 weeks-ish to reach Australia. In conclusion, they gave me a good impression for my first buy and no doubt I will continue to show my support!

Expected long wait based on reviews which I found on Internet. In fact, everything went very smoothly. It took me less than a week to receive what I ordered. The merchandise is of high quality, prices are very reasonable. Wishing good luck to Beautyboxkorea during these tough times and will be doing business with this Company again in the future.

After navigating an unusual site in the hopes of finding hard to find products I made the mistake of actually purchasing with Beauty Box Korea. They do not have most of the products listed on the site on hand and after several weeks said they found my selected items when I thought I would have received them already. They then stopped responding altogether and weeks later responded with the items are now ready and if I no longer want them more than one month later (shipping from them takes close to another month) I am still responsible for the shipping cost which changes everyday accordingly on their convoluted site. I have already found the products I was looking for on another site and have actual tracking sent for their arrival. Meanwhile, Beauty Box Korea is still playing games and have not issued a refund. Since I have found a real international beauty seller, this fake shopping experience has helped me identify the unprofessional. Do not know what means these guys have of acquiring these beauty products but the actual quality of what they would have shipped is a concern considering their behavior. Be warned!

While being ridiculously slow to ship, BBK had the notion to e-mail during that “warehouse time frame“ regarding bank withdrawals. When asked they brushed these emails off to automatically sent spam their customers should just expect. No tracking info updates throughout any of this long shipping period and then the package was sent to the wrong address due to their error and retuned to Korea with no follow up from BBK at all. They appear to be unaware that international buyers are helping them run a business and instead are more than happy to cause their own customer issues. Fortunately did not spend more than two hundred with BBK. If you have time to see how awful they are then use them if not, shop elsewhere. Would never recommend this long drawn out experience to anyone.

This website is incredible and my absolute favourite. They have everything you can even imagine when it comes to Korean beauty and brands. The best thing about them is that they have a lot of limited edition items and special sets that you can only find in Korea! As well as a lot of special promotions and gifts. It’s literally a dream for an enthusiast like myself. Their prices are also very reasonable. The packages are well packed, they have a wide variety of shipping options that are not too expensive and their customer service is amaaaaazing and fast in responding! I’ve been ordering from them for YEARS now and I’ll keep ordering as they’re one of the best sites to shop for your KBeauty needs. Highly recommend!

I ordered over $300 worth of products from them. I opened a case on the payment service because it doesn't mention anywhere when and how the items would be shipped. I let them know it's rude to leave customers on limbo, I had been waiting 8 days and the order was still "collecting". Once I had opened a case they were quick to respond, and said "we'll ship your order tomorrow IF YOU CLOSE YOUR CASE." Those familiar with the payment service should know that closed cases can not be reopened. So I escalated the claim and said they have no right to threaten me with a package to close the case. As soon as I escalated the claim, they provided a tracking number! But one simple google search told me it was a non-existent tracking number.

They are scammers. Buyers be aware.

I've had a great experience with this website. Ordered for Black Friday 2019 (nov 29) and received my order right after Christmas (dec 27). It's worth the wait since a lot of the products are hard to get from other sites. Everything was packed properly, tracking was efficient, the website maintained conversation with me for out of stock products and refunded the difference... Great customer experience and I will definitely order again in 2020!

I have ordered from BeautyBoxKorea a total of three times in Fall/Winter 2019. Every time, the items were brand new, authentic, and carefully packaged with a lot of bubble wrap and foam sheets. Although the orders took a while to arrive to where I live (USA), the customer service were always polite, understanding, and quick to reply. They have a lot of rare items that are available online soon after they are released in Korea. The shipping fees may be high for some people. In conclusion, my experience ordering from them were more than pleasant, and I will definitely order from them again!

Pros:
+ Can request any kbeauty item, just give the links in their forum page
+ Quite fast in replying queries and uploading your requests
+ You can choose your own shipping method according to your preferences
+ I received bonus items from my purchases which is always nice
+ Very safe packaging

Cons (not actually for me, but maybe for other people):
- Takes 1 week-ish to get their supplies which makes sense, because even if I order stuff online in UK like Revolution, superdrug and stuff sometimes it took 1 week to arrive after the order date. Then they will pack the item and send it to us when everything is ready to dispatch.
- They don't cover up your customs fee, so it is preferrable to buy things in bulk in BBK so the customs VAT / fee + Royal Mail fee won't feel as much burden :(
