I love solid shampoo. Became a convert during a trip away where the only shampoo the local shop had was an ethical solid bar.
We bought a box of shampoo/body wash cubes recently and I don't know if we have a Friday afternoon box, or we just aren't doing it right. The cubes don't crumble, you have to apply real pressure to break it and they have some harsh corners!
It then doesn't really go to a smooth paste, just lumpy.
And they are so drying 😞
My hair frizzes, and my skin goes papery after using them. The same goes for my partner as well. They also make my scalp itchy. I am not sensitive to anything either so can say it's not normal.
I wanted to love them, and to be fair I love the idea and the smell. Just the actual product is not for us.

I've been using Beauty Kubes for over 2 years and always got on really well with their shampoo and conditioner. I've just bought my first pack of the newly branded, updated formula - wow! I'm so impressed! My hair feels softer, is tangle-free and looks so shiny. I definitely don't need a conditioner along side it. Considering this, and the extra kubes per pack I'd say they're better value than ever

like the products but the prices are too much. They're just too expensive.

I was looking for the best shampoo for a couple of years. But could not find it until now. The oily hair shampoo is just brilliant!

Love the products although hair seem sometime needing a break. The concept of the kubes is amazing and so travel friendly. Very innovative and looking forward to see more product variety so I can stock all needed products from here and don't need to shop around. Thank you!

Trial pack of pink (normal to dry hair) shampoo Beauty Kubes - Fantastic replacement for shampoo as it works on the hair much better and no plastic. Nicer, stronger smell and cleaner hair and scalp. It did take forever to break down / disintegrate (the conditioning cubes are much easier to melt) so it took a while. Also I found them too drying, though my hair was shiny afterwards and the smell didn’t linger on the hair too much (a bad thing in my opinion). I liked them but I prefer the Nuddy shampoo bars as they’re easier to use and are much less drying on the hair, and have more of a thickening effect. Also, my hair in between washes is much more balanced with Nuddy shampoo bars - I found the hair too dry with the Beauty Kubes.

Trial pack of red conditioning mask Beauty Kubes - a little claggy but does seem to condition my hair and the smell’s lovely. As read in another review, it disappears immediately after applying it so it doesn’t seem like it’s working or doing anything when in use. I used alongside beauty Kubes shampoo cubes and also alongside Nuddy shampoo bars and I preferred it with the latter. No doubt a great replacement for regular liquid conditioner, I would recommend them.

I have been ordering for a few months and they're great - on time, and the product is *fantastic*. I am really fussy about my hair and have been searching for a decent, environmentally-friendly alternative to regular shampoo for a long time. It really works - leaves my hair full and clean-feeling! There is also something so satisfying about crushing those little cubes into a paste!

I recently purchased almost all the products they sell as I would like to try to be more eco friendly. My favourite product so far are the bath kubes. They smell amazing and it gives you a true spa experience at home. My husband is an even bigger fan. If you are a person who buys bath bombs try these instead, you can use each kube twice and the smell is incredible. Also the customer service is amazing. I recently placed a bigger order, they did not have enough stock to send everything to me, so they sent part of it and I will receive the rest later.

I really like the product (shower kubes/ body wash) but the price stops me changing over to these from shower gel. They're just too expensive.
I would get them if I was travelling though to save on space.

Excellent shampoo and genius product. I love the shampoo kubes so much. They smell amazing and are so gentle on my hair. There's no plastic so it's guilt free too!

Amazing plastic free packaging and no chemical nasties aside, the shampoo cubes for oily hair is THE best shampoo I’ve ever used! I get an extra day’s wear out of my hair compared to any usual conventional shampoo I have ever used. And yes, I have very very oily hair!

I love these shampoo cubes! They smell great, are easy to use and there's no residue build-up like I've experienced with other shampoo bars.
Delivery was very quick too.

Nice product, my hair felt very clean and soft after use. Really cute and practical samples as well. However I needed all 3 of the sample cubes for just one wash, my hair is very fine and about down to my shoulders so there’s not all that much of it, so wouldn’t recommend for people with longer hair as you would just tear through the cubes too quickly. Would be great for shorter hair though.

I absolutely LOVE Beauty Kubes. My hair feels amazing, it’s really eco-friendly with no plastic at all and if you speak to them they are lovely.

I love this brand. All the products I’ve used (shampoo, body wash, face cream & body moisturiser) feel luxurious and they smell great. What’s more they’re kind to our planet too. Delivery has always been swift and packaged well. A great big thumbs up!
