Thank you for taking the time to review us, however I'm sorry to hear that there were a couple of improvements to be made that would have made your visit more positive.

We source the ingredients we use from other sustainable businesses that allow us to track everything back to where it came from, and to work closely with our suppliers in maintaining the super high quality that we work hard to show in all of our products. Everything we serve is made fresh to order by our expert chefs and baristas, who we pay fairly for the hard work they put in. Although we do our best to keep our prices as accessible as possible, they are calculated carefully to cover these costs as well as allowing us a little room to continue developing and growing as a business.

We really appreciate that our lovely customers may pay a little more to drink and dine with us than they would at the average chain coffee stores, but we like to think that knowing that everything has been made with the utmost care and attention by fabulous people who are passionate about what they do makes it worth those extra few pennies!

Please also accept our most sincere apologies if any unusual wait times weren't clearly communicated to you during your visit and you were left feeling let down by our service as a result. Please rest assured that I will pass your comments on to our Store Manager for them to follow up with their team to ensure communications about ordering are clear, and team members are aware and on-hand to offer a helping hand wherever it's needed!

Nevertheless, it's great to hear that you enjoyed your drinks! I really hope this helps to provide a little extra context and you'll come back to see us again soon, even just for a little treat! :)

Thanks for the review and feedback - I'm sorry that you felt a little underwhelmed by your experience with us recently. As you can see from many of our previous reviews, we receive lots of compliments on the quality and value of our food, so I can only apologise that your experience with us didn't meet up to our usual high standards. Please rest assured that I will pass your comments on to our Group Head Chef for him to look in to with the team. Thank you for taking the time to review us, however I'm sorry to hear that our Magic Stamp app was having a some minor technical difficulties during your most recent visit. We opt to use a digital stamp card rather than a paper one, as it helps us to reduce the waste that we're producing, eliminates the need for stocking cards and fully-inked stamps, and also enables us to send fun things and freebies direct to our customers' Magic Stamp wallets via the magic of tech!

Please rest assured that we will take on your feedback and ensure that any issues that may arise are dealt with thoroughly by our in-store team, and that glitches are being reported direct to Magic Stamp for investigation and fixing wherever required. I can only apologise that this had a negative impact on your experience with us; I hope you'll come back again soon to collect the rest of your stamps and allow us to show you the great service that has gained us such a positive local reputation!

Thank you for taking the time to review us, however I'm sorry to hear that the lack of pancakes available slightly dampened your visit to us this time!

Unfortunately due to nationwide shortages of certain ingredients and products as well as limited availability of delivery drivers, we have been forced to react and make temporary changes or restrictions to our menu. Our team are working hard to react quickly and ensure that disruption remains minimal, however many of the stock issues we are facing are out of our control and require longer-winded solutions to fix.

We're continually reviewing our menu and carefully planning any updates around excluding things that have repeatedly been tough to get hold of and adapting our products as needed; please rest assured we're doing all we can to resolve this issue for the long-term!

Thanks so much for taking the time to review us, however I'm really sorry to hear that, after so many positive experiences with us, your most recent visit to us left you feeling disappointed.

Due to the recent economic shifts caused by the pandemic and Brexit, VAT reductions have ended and suppliers across our industry and many others have increased their prices, some quite dramatically. Unfortunately, this has forced us in to a position in which we have had to decide where we're able to absorb these increases and where we must pass some on to our lovely customers in order to continue our post-pandemic recovery and keep BEAR going.

Wherever we've been able to, we have kept any absolute necessary increases as minimal as we possibly can, however we really appreciate that our lovely customers may pay a little more to drink and dine with us than they would at the average chain coffee stores. Nevertheless, we like to think that enjoying our treats in a comfortable space, and knowing that everything has been made with the utmost care and attention by fabulous people who are passionate about what they do makes it worth those extra few pennies!

In relation to our Marketing Emails, these are automatically triggered when a customer logs in to our WiFi in-store and ticks the 'Marketing Permission' box. Any customer who does not explicitly give us permission to send them marketing communications will be excluded from this. Please rest assured that I will get in touch with the company that hosts our in-store WiFi and ensure that everything is working correctly; if you didn't provide marketing permission you should definitely not have received any emails from us. We take GDPR and customer privacy extremely seriously and will be investigating this as a matter of urgency.

Thank you again for providing us with this feedback. I really hope that you'll come back again soon - we'd love the opportunity to restore your faith back to where it was before! :)

Thanks for taking the time to review us, however I'm sorry that you felt a little let down by the fact that we are cashless at the moment.

We originally decided to stop taking cash at the beginning of the pandemic in order to reduce the risk of germs spreading between our customers and teams. Due to the ongoing and unpredictable shortages of staff, paired with the laborious behind-the-scenes work that taking cash brings with it, we have decided to continue to remain cashless for the time being, mainly to relieve some pressure off our teams. Nevertheless, we are continuously reviewing this so your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us make informed decisions moving forward.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. I really hope you'll come and see us again, and allow us the opportunity to provide you with the great service and products that we're so proud of! :)
