New boiler installed 5 years ago, serviced by them every year since, never let us down. Great Company to deal with, would recommend every time. Already recommended to a neighbour, did a great job for them as well.

The engineer arrived on time to carry out the boiler service. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. We asked about another issue and he took time to look at it and provided a range of solutions for us to consider.
I can really recommend Bentham Heating for their knowledge, efficiency,friendliness and value.

This is the second time we’ve used Mark for a boiler installation. The first was in September 2025 at our own property, and we were so impressed with the standard of work that we didn’t hesitate to use him again for our rental property.

Once again, the work was carried out professionally, efficiently, and to a very high standard. Communication was clear throughout and everything was left tidy on completion. We’ve not been disappointed either time and would happily recommend Mark to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled installer.

We had our new boiler fitted by Mark and his team a year ago, it’s been fantastic, we’ve since had a new thermostat programmed & installed & today we had our yearly boiler check.
Mark was prompt & arrived on time, the work was done quickly and efficiently & they tidied up as they went.
We were advised on which boiler would suit our house & he didn’t push the more expensive ones, just good honest advice on which would work best for us.
I’ve recommended him to family & friends & we will continue to use Bentham heating in the future. Thankyou guys x

I was very pleased with the service from Phil. I had arranged for a service of our gas boiler and he was very thorough and professional. This wasn’t just going through the motions and ticking a few boxes but a proper inspection of the boiler and its performance. Phil was super friendly and knowledgeable too. Great service from start to finish.

Jack completed a boiler replacement for us today. Nothing was an issue, left him too it and a few hours later the boiler was fully installed and working with a detailed run through of the new system.

Area was left spotless 10/10

Mark was able to come out to give me a quote the same day that I enquired - he was efficient and honest about the work required and offered competitive prices with a variety of finance options. He was able to arrange the work within a week. He carried out the work punctually and do a brilliant job of cleaning up afterwards. I’m very happy with the new boiler which has been so simple and easy to use. Very responsive and excellent customer service - I will be switching to Benthams for all boiler servicing and work in future!

It’s always interesting to read customer reviews on social media, but I find the most reliable opinions are those sought independently, via word of mouth.

When we needed our central heating system re-piping, Bentham Heating Services were recommended to us, and proved to be efficient and friendly. The work undertaken was not cheap, at just short of £7800, but it gave us a system that functioned correctly, which we were obviously delighted with. Unfortunately, the ‘aftercare’ provided has been disappointing, and frankly unacceptable.

I contacted Mark on four separate occasions regarding an issue with a valve he had fitted on 11 September. I received no response on two occasions. On a further three occasions Mark, or a member of his team, failed to turn up when they had said they would do so. The issue was finally resolved on 6 November, eight weeks after the original work had been done.

I had to contact Mark again on 21 November, as there was a problem with the boiler not heating the water and the radiators at the same time. On 22 November, Mark said he would come back to me but didn’t. On two further occasions he failed to arrive, then said he would come between Christmas and new year. To date, seven weeks later, I have heard nothing further.

Overall, I have paid £8700 to Bentham Heating for work at my property, so I would have expected better service and communication. There is a general tenet in customer service that someone who is satisfied will tell one other person. A dissatisfied customer will tell ten. BHS might like to reflect on that.

Had new combi boiler fitted today by the guys from Bentham's they arrived on time and i was amazed how efficiently they carried out the job the pipework around the new boiler was a "work of art" very neat
They even brought a large piece of stone to match where the old boiler flue was removed
All clean and tidy when leaving I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them

Mark fitted a new replacement boiler for us. He arrived on time, got busy straight away. Done by mid afternoon. Left job done and clean and explained all he had done and other relevant information like registering guarantee etc. Excellent. Highly recommend.

I recently had Bentham Heating come out for a boiler service and I was really happy with their work. They were quick, efficient and very informative. Highly recommend them for anyone needing boiler services. And boiler installations! They fitted my boiler 11 years ago and they’re a company I trust and always return to.

Really disappointing experience. New boiler replacement for existing. Wanted a local company I could use in the future for boiler servicing etc. Spoiler alert, will never use them again.
Boiler fitted with a condensate pump as previous boiler had outside pipe. Was advised that I would 'barely hear it'. From day one the boiler sounder like a drill going off in the airing cupboard. Impossible not to hear it in every room in the house and would go off at random times. You would have to be deaf to miss it. Woke me up in the early hours, impossible to ignore.
They came back and said this was 'normal', if I couldn't cope with it I had to have outside pipes, but would make it 'look better' than the existing pipes.
As soon as these pipes were installed they left, I asked several times if it needed to be insulated and was told 'no'. I am no plumber but the drop off on the pipe was negligible and knew that wasn't right. Had a one sided 'conversation' with the owner who just kept telling me I wanted to look better, it 'looked better'.
Ended up calling gas safe, 4 noted errors on the outside pipes. All of which meant the guarantee with the boiler was null and void. It wasn't an aesthetic thing, the errors meant the guarantee, should the boiler break down for any reason was invalid. During this pipework insulation, they also drilled into the grout cracking a brick.
They have come back to 'correct' these issues today *not the brick, I guess I have to do that myself! They have done the bare minimum to correct. The insulation is already cracked in places, they havent bothered removing the existing pipes, just pushed the insulation over the top so some of the pipework is still exposed to the elements over every single clip holding the pipe to the wall. Left the previous clips in place so there are white clips with black insulation. It looks terrible! It's literally minimum viable product.
Ultimately I will have to get another firm in to correct these issues. Really really disappointed with the work, the lack of empathy shown when 'corrections' were made.
Will never use the firm again. Be aware.
