Really impressed by the plants and staff when ordering online.

The plants are good quality, and well packaged. I had a problem with one of them which I flagged up, and it has been replaced without quibble or fuss.

I really appreciate the help, and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Plants arrived on time, well packed

I tried to order a £50 e voucher as a Christmas present for my Mum. I had 4 emails from them. One had a QR code but nothing I could print off to put in her card. The emails also stated the voucher would be "sent" to my address. I called them, but the automated service only allowed me to leave a message, which I did. I also sent an email asking them to call me. I have heard nothing. Admittedly its only been a couple of days, but the service has been confusing and frustrating. In fact, there has been no "service" to speak of so far. I expected a lot more.

Tje plants I have bought from Beth Chatto s garden by post have always been first class in condition and delivery. You can often find more unusual varieties unavailable elsewhere.
I ordered a few bulbs and plants this Autumn then tripped and fell in my garden and broke my femur. I then had email notification that my plants were ready to dispatch. Having contacted customer services I had such lovely, helpful replies from them. They found my order and postponed it. About a month later they asked how I was and offered me a refund.
Such service is sadly rare and I really appreciated their personal touch.

This was my first order from Beth Chatto's Plants & I have been very impressed. Ordering on the website was straightforward & I was pleased to see that most plants were in 1 lire pots rather than the 9cm pots supplied by most online nurseries. The plants arrived in superb condition & I have to say that the packing was exemplary, by far the best I have seen from a plant nursery ever. Delivery was within 24 hours and the plants that can not been cut back were looking very healthy. I look forward to seeing what happens in Spring. Beth Chatto's Plants will certainly be on my favourites list in future. Well done team & thank you.

really good choice of plants not always found elsewhere. I took advantage of the sale prices which were generous. Plants arrived well packaged and protected and are in such good condition, I'm very pleased with them. Kept well informed of delivery progress and the kind delivery driver obviously took great care of the parcel too.

Our Lavandula dentata plants from The Beth Chatto Gardens arrived this morning, skilfully packed in robust cardboard, so they were in perfect condition. And they are beautiful plants, obviously carefully nurtured, and we are genuinely thrilled with them. Lavandula dentata plants seem hard to find here in the UK so thank you to The Beth Chatto Gardens for stocking these delightful gems.
We will definitely be back for more.

Astounded to see that the ten plants in 1 litre pots I ordered arrived in a massive box. When I opened it there was more than a black bin liner's worth of scrunched up paper inside, weighing down on the tiny plants at the bottom. No surprise then that the plants themselves were looking rather sad, after being crushed and lacking air. The geraniums had several brown dead leaves on them, which is what I expect from my local garden centre but not from an online supplier with such a good reputation.

I've ordered from several other online plant nurseries recently, such as Dorset Perennials and Plantagogo including several large plants). All those orders arrived sensibly packaged so that the plants arrived in perfect condition, so I know it is possible to supply good quality plants in good condition without a huge amount of packaging that is bad for the environment and is too much to fit into my recycling box.

I shall give these plants from Beth Chatto lots of tlc and hope the poor darlings recover from their ordeal. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from this company again.

I have really enjoyed ordering from Beth Chatto over the last few months and will continue to do so. They have a marvellous selection of unusual and charming plants. I found them after researching alternative suppliers following a very poor experience with a large online discount garden supplier. And I am so pleased I found them. Also because I wanted an unusual selection of ferns and shade plants for my garden and they offered some excellent choices that were hard to find elsewhere. The website is well organised by plant type and easy to use. All your expectations are managed with order timeframes being clearly shown and items delivered as promised, securely packed and by a reliable courier. A couple of plants I wasn't very hopeful about because they had been cut right back are now looking fabulous and healthy and a note was included in the package as to why the plant had been cut back which reassured me enough to plant them and I am so pleased with them now. It is well worth giving this company a chance their prices although not as cheap as some of the more aggressive marketers are very fair and delivery is reliable. They obviously care about their plants and reputation. Thank you very much to Beth Chatto Gardens for helping me achieve my garden ambitions in Yorkshire.

I have brought a few plants from this company this year and often find plants that I cannot find easily elsewhere.
The website is a fantastic resource, Unfortunately very soon after planting 2 of my plants did not thrive although the others took off with great gusto. I sent an email and within minutes it was answered and a few minutes after that 2 replacements are on the way. Now this is what I call great customer service. Thank you so much

Lovely specimens with good root systems arrived before i was expecting them -- will buy from beth chatto again

Visited the garden's on Friday first of all signing to the garden very poor,price to get in expensive cafe staff very poor service and they weren't that busy.The plants were expensive and not that good poor service.

Plants beautifully packed. All plants healthy and a good size. Very pleased. Website easy to use and very informative.
