Didn’t have many lessons prior to Andy black instructing me . Calm cool and composed instructor which made driving a lot easier with clear calm instructions on lessons.
Definitely recommend to other learners.

I passed my test first time today with Dan’s help!

I couldn’t recommend a better driving instructor, I started my lessons with Dan and due to moving out of the area I stopped. When I restarted learning I had a really difficult time with a different instructor, I called Dan and explained and even though I was out of his area he made the effort to come down to me to help me before my test. He has boosted my confidence and made learning to drive a joy. I am extremely grateful and would recommend him to any new drivers out there!

I learnt to drive with Rob and he was patient and professional. I passed first time and now feel like a confident driver on the roads. Thank you!

I started my driving lessons with Better Driver Training in December 2024, with Daniel Hose as my instructor. As a first-time driver with no prior experience, I am thrilled to have passed my driving test on my first attempt. Dan was incredibly helpful in building my confidence behind the wheel. He made me feel comfortable on the road by providing clear guidance throughout the lessons. Dan was professional and focused on giving me constructive feedback on both my strengths and areas for improvement. His patience and support were instrumental in helping me achieve this milestone. A big shout out to him for his dedication and assistance!

I booked Rob Jacques for my 17 year old daughter’s driving lessons on recommendation. She looked forward to every lesson and she passed first time yesterday !!! Rob is an amazing instructor and throughly recommend him

I passed first time with Dan!

Rob Jacques taught our eldest to drive last year and got him passed on his first attempt. So good, and so impressed, we’re now using Rob for our next eldest. Patient, professional and supportive. Highly recommended. Thanks very much!

Overall my experience with better driving was top tier. Mainly thanks to my instructor Dan who helped my pass first time with no stress and reassured me and gave me the confidence to do so couldn’t recommend better driving or Dan enough

I passed my driving test on my first try with Dan! I had two other driving instructors before him, but my driving skills really improved after I started working with him. He’s so encouraging, which helps me build confidence. Dan is the best driving instructor you can find in the local area. He’s practical, patient, knowledgeable, and caring. Every lesson with him is a solid learning experience. Not only did I learn how to drive, but I also learned how to be a good driver who can actually handle the situations that happen on the road. I would definitely recommend Dan and Better Driving School to anyone who’s looking to pass their test or become a better driver!

Dan was the only instructor I’ve had who actually made driving make sense. I definitely wouldn’t have passed first time if it wasn’t for him. Would recommend him to anyone who is learning to drive!

Dan was an excellent driving intrustor.
When I started with him I was very nervous and sure it would take me atleast a year to pass.

Had Dan as my instructor, can't thank him enough, passed first time with 1 minor fault. He was very helpful, patient and shared a lot of knowledge with me. He helped me look for pracrice tests and where to look up all the relevant information rqeuired for each step of the test process. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience learning to drive with Dan. I was extremely anxious and scared to start driving but i really wanted to. After having a previous instructor who didn’t realise the extent of my anxiety, i found Dan. From the minute i got into Dans car i felt at ease. He did everything he could to make me feel confident behind the wheel and I went on to pass my test 1st time.

Since passing with Dan i am now a confident driver and have driven pretty much anywhere with confidence. I can’t recommend Dan enough to anyone who is wanting to learn to drive. Thank you Dan for everything

Learned to drive with dan, he was a great instructor and was very patient and helpful, educating me about not only how to pass the driving test but the roads itself, helped me gain confidence on driving in narrow country roads & motorways (to the point i drove to somewhere completely new on the motorway a week after passing my test!)
was completely at ease and any questions or concerns I had i felt comfortable enough to ask without hesitation

I used Better Driver Training for some refresher lessons last year. I couldn't have wished for a more patient instructor than Dan. He ensured the lessons were tailored around my skills gaps and really helped to build my confidence. I'm now really enjoying being out on the road. Big thanks to Dan and Better Driving.
